Ahh, thank you!

I made demos of some of your torsos:

Admiral Norrington:

admiral_norrington_by_mosana.jpg

And French artillery (I know, the man can't do anything with the gun on his own, but this was just for the pic):

french_artillery_by_mosana.jpg

Coming tomorrow(I hope): Horatio Nelson, British and Mexican artillery, Trooper 1st/2nd grenadiers and officer 1st/2nd grenadiers.

I'm a bit late for this, but I look forward to seeing them. I think Nelson and the grenadiers are some of my best work, so I look forward to seeing them "in the flesh".

Update time

Does anybody know of the film "The Sovereign's Servant"? It is a Russian film, not released here in the UK, but I saw the trailer on youtube, and it looks very promising, as well as being the only film I know of about the Great Northern War. Inspired by this, I made some torsos.

Coming next: GNW Russia

Also, I'm still having no luck on the French naval torsos. Apologies.

EDIT: I've set up a youtube page where I can collect videos of napoleonic battles and things like that, and you can see this here:

http://www.youtube.com/profile_favorites?user=hjrf2k

I'll add more things as I find them.

Cool clips, I've been watching a bunch of them and the whole Pickett's charge. Great group of clips you got there. *sweet*

That's an excellent idea to bring all these video's on one page. I'll be watching them all!

Btw, tomorrow I have my annual visit of the Waterloo battlefield.

They will replay the battle around Hougoumont.

I'll try to take some pictures and post them on the forum.

I'm sorry I made you wait!

Horatio Nelson:

This one looks quite good on a fig!

I did an attempt on making the grenadiers but the blue you use doesn't match with the blue colour of LEGO it appears... :-( But it could depend on my printer... Otherwise, could you please try to find a colour that matches better? It would be very much appreaciated!

And this one:

I really like this one!

I put it on one of the newer, but not in the newest city sets, police man bodies. This one.

It matches quite well with the navy blue Mr Mosana uses.

You can also use the much more recent viking body.

Now you only need the arms.

Mr Tiber

I manged to miss this post somehow. The figures look really nice. With regards to the blue, it's the blue off classic-castle.com's colour palette, which I use for all my customs.

Coming next: Filling various gaps in the Napoleonic period

To clarify this a little, the Napoleonic bodies were the first ones I did, and I think some of them are looking a bit crude nowadays. So I have two lists of upcoming things:

Torsos I don't like and want to re-do

French artillery and dragoons, Jena-Auerstadt Prussians

Things I didn't do / forgot to do

Jena-Auerstadt Prussian Cavalry, Various small German states, French Revolutionary troops

I'll be starting with the first set.

Should I replace the old ones with these new versions in the torso library or keep them both?

This reminds me, for my updated designs (Norrington, Beckett, EIC Offider, etc.) can you do the same? I asked a while ago, but it would seem you misunderstood...

Can you tell me exactly which one you would want me to remove or change?

But lets do that in your customs thread.

I was interested how mosana's design of the Austrians would look like and being short of minifigs I did it in a picture.

austrianartillery140.png

Afterwards there came me the idea that a

Minifig Generator containing all of the designs would be great.

- I used a starting body (the one called mask).

- I converted the picture to a gif defining the grey as transparent

- putting that together in power point (can also be done in a paint tool which uses layers like gimp)

- where necessary I changed one part of the mask (like trousers or body with another colour)

- the last step was to reduce the size to 140 width

sounds complicated but can be done in several minutes ...
