Yesterday I received the 42007 Dirt bike, but after building it I felt it could be done better. So time for an overhaul :D.

It does look so much more better.

I like the angled connectros for the frame. Maybe make them not black so they stand out a bit more?

@skppo mayvbe I'll change them, don't know what colour tho.

Light gray would work well

Very good improvement and nice looking model!!

I also changed mine a bit, but not as much as yours.

The placement of the rear sprocket in the original set is really bad, so i focused on that part :)

See the pic below. More info on my site.

I missed this topic, but great modifications Dikkie!

I still need to build my copy, so I will surely take a look at the modifications you made.

OP, that's an amazing job, love the frame, love the seat, love the new rear suspension geometry :D

I just got finished with exactly the same fix, and coincidentally ended up with basically the same resolution.

I also wasn't happy with the exhaust as I felt like it was just placed too randomly and one looking like it wasn't even connected.

Thus, my result. Not perfectly accurate for the real world, but I think it still make more sense than the randomness of the original design.
