[MOC] medieval House for rookies

Recommended Posts

Hello

This is my last little moc, a medieval house for rookies.

Having built the wooden structure, I wanted the installation of torchie is evolving over time.

My goal is that this can be handled and evolutionary exposure at younger visitors.

Love the scaffolding! Looks easy to assemble too! :classic:

I think the entrance to the 'bierkeller' is disguised though, I mean, who would need a scaffold built (Fachwerk) house for other purposes than to store German white beer ;)

@captain settle: the windows like that occur in real houses though:

Excellent build! You did a very good job showing the different phases of the house, I especially like the rafters

I like the uneven brickwork and the occasional defect in the side walls, but maybe the roof looks too clean and perfect in comparison. Perhaps you could scuzzy it up a bit by making the tiles more uneven.

Interesting idea and nicely executed. Well done!

Thanks for sharing it with us.

I like the idea and the build. I have to agree with "Captain Settle" on the widows though. They are also too small in my opinion. It's not really bothering though.

Great job, looks like a real timber frame when you have the roof boards and plaster infill taken out.
