W0lF Posted December 31, 2012 Hello everyone, today I present to you my new MOC- Kart. Working steering. Single- cylinder engine, connected to the exhaust system and fuel tank Exhaust system. Fuel tank. Steering wheel and dashboard Clutch lever. Gas and brake pedals. The rotation of the rear axle is also transmitted through the chain drive. Аnd finally the driver's seat. That's all. Thaks for watching!
Carsten Svendsen Posted December 31, 2012 That looks so lifelike! Congrats on building that
Sicil Posted December 31, 2012 Kart is very nice and interesting!
W0lF Posted December 31, 2012 Carsten, Sicil - Thanks.
Lipko Posted December 31, 2012 It's very nice! I have only one complaint: why do you (and many builders) cover the engine? You make a key feature almost totally hidden, making it kind of pointless.
piterx Posted December 31, 2012 cool moc :) maybe the tyres are too small? but it looks good anyway :)
Balrog Posted January 3, 2013 I like the overall design of the GoKart. But, I have to criticise 2 things. 1. The wheels seem too small. My guess is, you chose these wheels to have low ground clearance. But, bigger wheels will look better probably. 2. The steering wheel is too small, too. And the style is somewhat strange. It isn't as nice as the rest of the model.
W0lF Posted January 3, 2013 Thanks for the criticism, I'll try not to make such mistakes.
Balrog Posted January 3, 2013 In the end, the design is totally your thing and: It must be pleasing you. Not me. It's just some ideas that I think might make it better.
legomuppet9 Posted January 3, 2013 Kart tyres are actually surprisingly small. So he has that about right, however the nose comes out too far over the front wheels. Good MOC anyhow
Kierna Posted January 4, 2013 It's very nice! I have only one complaint: why do you (and many builders) cover the engine? You make a key feature almost totally hidden, making it kind of pointless. Have you ever seen a real engine? One cannot watch the pistons go up and down. The "cover" on the engine is the cylinder head.
Lipko Posted January 4, 2013 Have you ever seen a real engine? One cannot watch the pistons go up and down. The "cover" on the engine is the cylinder head. Yes I have. I have also seen covered real car transmissions, real cars without numerous little holes on their body, etc.
Kierna Posted January 4, 2013 Yes I have. I have also seen covered real car transmissions, real cars without numerous little holes on their body, etc. hahaha, touche Ok, but I think if you want realism you should put a cylinder head on lego piston motors. It is a challenge to make a lego model look real, so people say, "Wow, is that Lego?"
Lipko Posted January 4, 2013 Sorry for offing! Yes, it's not an easy question. I'm more into cars, when a less realistic engine is acceptable. With a motorbike, it's a different story. I guess a transparent block would look lame too.

Lego realism can be expensive
