Haha well I suppose I'm biased since I was one of the winners and because I only voted when I saw that there was a chance of winning , but I think the whole point of the prizes was to increase participation. If the prizes were only announced after the vote was over, then that would have been a moot goal.

Must say that I'm glad the prizes were announced, because otherwise I would have missed out on some fantastic entries!
