Glad you and @Mandalorianknight finally get what you’ve been waiting for! Hope I don’t have to wait that long for my wishes to be fulfilled :laugh_hard:

Good thing I didn’t care for Andor though. Fans of that show must be fuming right now

Would love to see a Fondor Haulcraft, but that's really the only set I could see them doing from Andor, and that likely wouldn't happen until a season 2.

I'm excited to see Yavin, but I doubt I'll pick that one up. Too many other good sets this year.

Agreed. And immediately after he comes out, we'll hear complaining about their P1 versions, or Fox, or Doom, or Fordo.

And Wolffe!!!
I hope that LEGO realises now how popular Clones are, and is getting ahead of the inevitable complaining by having prominent Clones and units already in development (the Swamp Speeder seems like a step in the right direction in this regard).

Here’s the difference though.
Phase 2 Rex was a MAIN CHARACTER in TCW Season 7,and made big appearances on Bad Batch and even Tales of the Jedi! Lego literally made every other character who played a big part in the end of season 7 OUTSIDE Rex!

Yeah I have been wanting him since season 7 which was 3 years ago. He’s a big character especially with todays LSW fans

I can see them making the Imperial speeder from the finale, as well.

Lol what Captain Rex is not comparable with random background characters.

Thanks!

Meh, I loved andor, but I think most people recognize that it wasn't for kids and there isn't much set material anyway. An 18+ prision diorama or haulcraft would be nice, but they're pipe dreams. It's a children's toy line, after all.

I think you missed the point of his comment.

I find it hilarious that a buildable Chewbacca is actually happening, given how many memes / fake rumours have been floating about for ages. If it look great, then awesome! But I do wonder what sort of market exists for this sort of thing, I suppose the LSW design team were inspired by the BP Bust and upcoming buildable Captain America shield from Marvel.

Yup. Even though the BP bust allegedly did terribly.

I've said this before, but lego's been doing great with clones recently. In the past 3 years or so, we've had 501st trooper x3, 501st jet trooper, airbourne trooper, 332nd trooper  the entire bad batch, p1 clone commander, p1 clone trooper x2, p2 clone gunner, p2 cody, p2 212th trooper x3, 187th trooper x2, 187th commander, 501st heavy x2, 501st specialist, and 501st officer. That's excellent.

Same. Which sucks, because I'm REALLY happy we're finally getting yavin, but Rivendell is my top priority.

The true travesty is that we never got a Mawhonic figure, despite them making his podracer in 2001... New movement, anyone? (But actually, please make a new podrace set, LEGO. I would love that)

A true Boota Eve MBS type set for the 30th anniversary of TPM would be pretty cool tbh.

This. It doesn't get recognized enough how much LEGO has been doing for clones. I see WAY too many comments on different sites that LEGO doesn't care about PT and CW fans, when we've gotten this much of late. Has it all been perfect? No. But it's been amazing what all we have gotten. We're not gonna get every clone squadron, but LEGO's been pretty good about making so many.

Oop, you're right. $20 imperial battle pack with that speeder is almost a shoo-in given that they don't have to even say it's based on andor.

Let's go through this logically. Not mos eisely or the homestead. Could potentially be a rebel ship, though he might have implied it isn't. I don't think he gave word on anything like the system SSD or a proper ion cannon/shield generator. What else is there?

Oh, we NEED a new Podrace. It's crazy that they made the perfect head mold for Mawhonic in the 2013 Sail Barge bit we still haven't gotten him. A set with pods for Anakin, Sebulba, and Mawhonic with a figure of Ben on the side (he didn't start the race, after all) would be amazing, though honestly I'd also love if they did some microfighter podracers (it's wild to me that they've made several dozen microfighters but never tapped the goldmine that is the actual SW racers).

Or Survivor :cry_sad:. I just want a Cal minifig...

It'd be a nice set, but I'd guess lego's afraid of anything big for TBOBF given that 2 people liked the show

Fallen order games sets would be good too but are less expected ( yes I know that is 'Jedi : Survivor 'no fallen order in the title for the second game, but frankly, 'jedi :' is way too generic a series title for star wars content ( jedi Survivor is a pretty dull name overall anyhow) so in my head it's fallen order 2)

Where as I'd have expected we'd see more from those shows. And please plain P2 clones!

I know watched the show far from equals liked it, but tBoBF did actually achieve higher viewership than Mando.

There's a pattern to it, just look at the facts.

In 2018, toxic LSW fans started harassing LEGO's social media guy about a 501st battle pack, and in 2020 LEGO released one.

Immediately after getting their wish they started harassing LEGO's poor underpaid social media guy about a P2 Cody, and in 2022 they delivered.

Ergo, it can be inferred there's a two-year turnaround from initial whinging to production, and that we'll likely see a new Captain Rex in the summer of 2024.

It's not the same. Rex is a major character though and has appeared in shows every year since 2020.

My thoughts exactly. In terms of minifgures, the prequel trilogy and clone wars have UNQUESTIONABLY been their top priority since 2020.

If they do go the 41st route with the swamp speeder I’d hope they include a at rt driver fig finally.

That seems unlikely, unless the set also includes an AT-RT.

I just want an Imperial Battle pack... I know I'm in a minority anymore, but the lack of solid OT battle packs disappoints me. It's VERY hard to get Rebels and Imperials in large amounts (other than Snowies, now). While I appreciate LEGO doing Clone packs for fans of that, I'm much more an OT guy, and I miss the good'ol years of LOTS of Imperial and Rebel sets during the 2014-2017 period.

I doubt it, considering it'd be an entire new mold. My guess is it's the 327th, or maybe the 442nd.

Personally, I just want LEGO Star Wars to return to the golden era of 2012-2015 (in my opinion, obviously). Just nice, solid, era-based waves.

Exactly. Lego's been pumping out a TON of clones. We've had 3-4 "clone battle packs" in as many years. That's huge.

The issue there is that since the disney acquisition there's simply been too much star wars to make an entire wave off a single era anymore (exempting new releases which obviously they'll give higher promotion to)

Which set are we guessing? Is it the $650 one? If so, my bet would be the leaked Sail Barge.

Thanks for your clarification on these sets! Do you by any chance know what type of clones will be featured in the Swamp Speeder?

It is really annoying. Luckily the 2008 rebel fleet troopers are (or at least were) like $3 on bricklink. I think I have 24 of them, and something like 40 stormies, mainly from the 2015 battle pack. But it is annoying that it's hard to army build the arguable two main factions nowadays. I'd love an endor rebel battle pack.

Agree about the name, or at least that people are just gonna call the franchise fallen order. I was always partial to naming the sequel "rising knight" or "rising son". maybe in 2024, if BD-1 did well? I never saw him on sale...

He said it’s been guessed by a poster, so it HAS to be something mentioned.

I think we're talking about a large-ish system set releasing in august, but my mind is still recovering from "$200 buildable chewbacca", so I might be wrong.
