[MOC] Fort Iron Cactus

Recommended Posts

Here is my latest MOC, Fort Iron Cactus. It is my interpretation of an Old Wild West Fort. Inspiration for this comes from a mix of the Lego Western theme, Ninja theme, and some Ninjago.
Some details about this fort is the base is 64 x 64 studs, it is made with some of the modular techniques were different sections of the building are able to be removed. It is able to be separated into 13 different sections plus the base section. Different sections of this fort include an armory, jail cell, chow hall, bunkhouse for the enlisted, bunkhouse for the officers, and an office/living quarters for the fort commander. There are three groups of minifigs in this MOC: enlisted in the light blue uniforms, officers in the dark blue uniforms, and of course two bad guys.

Very nice fort.  I like the interiors and the sheer size of this.  I also like that it is modular and comes apart making it nice for displaying and even playing with.  Excellent looking figs too.

Thank you for the compliments, I plan to work on adding a little more details to the interiors.

I update my Fort Iron Cactus with new doors on the fort's entrance. These are the doors that I had in my original digital design, I feel that they match the scale of the rest of the fort. When both doors are fully opened the entrance is now 8 studs wide.

Very impressive! I've never had more than a handful of the brown bricks modified, and now I know why!

Thank you, lol, I didn't use that many modified brown bricks, now the decorated panel for the base of the fort I may have bought out a few Bricklink stores inventories of that part.

That's awesome.

I feel like the huge areas ofbrown log walls are a bit bland, maybe add some damaged parts or firing holes?

Hello,

Sure thing here are the details:
Torso-- 973pb1185c01 Torso Monster Fighters Jacket Double Breasted, Tattered with Buttons Pattern / Dark Blue Arms / Reddish Brown Hand Right / Light Bluish Gray Hand Left

I replaced the hands that come on this torso with white hands to represent gloves

Leg-- 970c00pb0023 Hips and Legs with SW Gunbelt Pattern, Rectangles on Hips

Please let me know if you have any more questions.
