You don't need a detector, just a sieve will do when the tide is going out.

Last winter (January 2019), MSC Zoe lost 345 containers north of Terschelling. In the UK, Cornwall still has LEGO wash onto shore now from a Container ship that sank in 1997. CSW652 Posted June 11, 2019 (edited) Curious what do Lego pieces look like after floating around in the ocean for awhile? On the original topic, shame the chemical plant didn't get approved. That was the one I was hoping for. If Bricklink does another AFOL thing, could it be submitted for that? Edited June 11, 2019 by CSW652

In the meantime some &^%$#@%& russian copied my model and is selling instructions while I am bound by a 3 year contract with LEGO for a design they do not intend to make......... :( I am looking into that crowdfunding coop program they did with Bricklink. Maybe there is a chance there. I was very disappointed to hear your chemical plant design didn’t make it @Ymarilego - it was a fantastic design and I would have bought a couple. Awful that people are copying and profiting from your work whilst you are bound by an unfair contract with TLG. Have you thought about modifying your design into a “Mark 2” chemical plant so you can sell instructions and a parts list? I’m sure there would be lots of people ready and waiting to buy it

Hope you look at the Chemical Plant Mark 2 next. Probably wouldn’t need many changes to get round TLG’s restrictions.
