Sariel Posted September 9, 2017 Last Wednesday, September 6th, I was kindly granted an early entrance to the LEGO House with a camera and here's the resulting video. Please keep in mind that the House will have more to offer when it officially opens on September 28th, and that there was still some work in progress on several exhibits. Special thanks to TLG's Jan and Trine for making it possible :)
Digger of Bricks Posted September 9, 2017 This is just... Unbearably Beautiful. Dang, I really wish I could visit this place, its opening date happens to fall on my birthday. For you @Sariel, what was the best part of the House?
Sariel Posted September 9, 2017 The Technic part of the History Collections, since I finally got to see a perfect-condition Technic Shuttle in flesh. It would be nice to see the new Millennium Falcon in there, too.

Capparezza Posted September 28, 2017 (edited) Hello there fellow lovers of the Brick I had the pleasure to see the LEGO House at a Fan Test Event on 25th of August. So, sorry front up for being late to the party, but I have been moving into a new flat and was busy repairing stuff and generelly tying loose ends together to get life into acceptable circumstances ... *errrrr* As today is (was by the time this will be posted) the Grand Opening of the LEGO House, I finally took my time to upload the pictures from my trip on Flickr and share some of them here on EB: LEGO House from the outside. Still in the works in August, surely finished by now Giant tree at the central stairs... ...with little scenes from different themes all over. Top level Up here you can find MOCs from AFOLs at the Master Gallery, like this superb DOOM creatures... ...or these precious devices from the last millenium, artistically recreated with bricks. History section in the cellar. My favourite display The sign reads "Losing faith in the brick". Yeah, Jack Stone sets... No comment... There is a little cinema at the History Section which shows ads from all centuries. That guy here must be a relative of Benny... Huge layouts in the Green Zone at the middle level of LEGO House. I'm not so sure Mr. Banana Guy is aboard the right ship. Hope he's not going to get bitten by that spider. Lots of possibilities to play and show your creativity, too. No love for the Duplo trains this day. Tsss, picky AFOLs... Yay, free bricks upon leaving! And hey, it's the super rare 2x4 in Red! *harr harr* A heartily "Thank you very much" to all the nice staff @ LEGO House, you have all been great, very helpful and supporting!!! And of course also a Big Thanks for letting me take part @ LEGO Edited September 28, 2017 by Capparezza Finally acquired the knowledge on how to post pictures... you're never too old to learn, they say. Legogal Posted September 30, 2017 Lovely video...thanks for posting. Still want to see the place in person. The good news is that we can revisit Legoland Billund while there. I am thrilled that these builds are indoors and protected from the weather. My greatest complaint about all of the Legoland Parks is how much the weather has destroyed the outside builds. Almost nothing is under a roof, so the bricks age too quickly. I will never understand why they did not at least put roofs over the most advanced builds to keep the sun and rain off of them. It seems like this would have been much cheaper than always having to rebuild the once lovely creations. And they could have provided more shade in the hotter LL climes like California, Malaysia and Florida. (Most of the LEGO builds in LL parks look like crap after six months or so. Mother Nature is just too brutal.)
