No that was a different one. The advent calender trooper has a jumpsuit, the ones from the new DS and the book have a tunic (and different belt, chinstrap etc.).

While both are variations of the Navy Troopers, they serve different roles. The troopers with the jumpsuit are working as specialists, technicians etc., whereas the troopers with the tunic are on guard duty (e.g. in the detention block AA23 and in the conference room). I am very happy to get them in a cheaper offering.

most impressive

If Boba wa in his older Clone Wars variant, that would be a good choice. Although, as much I like it, it would be a tad disappointing if we did get the regular variant instead since it's very common.

I checked the front page of this 2017 rumours thread, but correct me if I'm wrong, I don't see any big sets to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of EP4, A New Hope.  I guess something might happen on May 4th?    All the prequel trilogy, CW and Freemaker crap does not count as Star Wars to me.   Where are the PROPER OT sets for the summer wave? :sweet:

Introducing... the mind-blowing, amazing, astounding set that blows all other OT sets out of the water...

Spoiler

The Landspeeder!  That's the only one I think

The landspeeder from a couple of years ago (not the one in the cantina set) was my first lego star wars set. That one did have an amazing minifig line-up: luke, ben, the two droids, a sandie and that robot flying thing from the special editions. This one's a bit lacking there I think. Easy pass.

Got the Skiff set as a belated Christmas present. I wasn't that impressed by the pictures, but I build it yesterday and it's actually pretty great.

The Sarlac is a nice build, the Skiff looks great, and while Boba and Chewie are nothing special, the guard is cool and Han's squinty, hibernation sickness face is pretty great.

I think there are still 3 sets unaccounted for so it could be one, if not all, of those three.

Haha, autocorrect tried changing Boba to Bobs or Bona for me too

Lol it's a pain, I should just spend a day adding every Star Wars characters name into the word bank, so it won't "correct" it anymore.

I'll buy the Landspeeder, I'm still in need of one and the figure selection is great, too.

I only have the C-3PO so for me the figure selection is pretty decent. I'll wait probably till the end of the year when it inevitably goes on sale, then I strike. This why I like sets like this. Even though I have the desert skiff from the last round the new one gives people who missed the first one a chance to buy it. I think it's cool to remake old sets. But hey that's just me. That being said I'd prefer every set isn't a remake adding a nice compromise for both. This wave has a nice mix in my opinion.

Do you think we will ever get another lego cad bane.

In the words of the Magic Conch Shell from Spongebob "maybe some day". In all seriousness I hope so. I made sure to buy him in the last set he was in as I didn't figure he'd appear for long while if ever. But I do hope he will appear in a set sometime.

Dual molded arms would look great on him I feel.

Not gonna lie, I'm relieved I didn't throw down the cash on that Freemakers set for Dengar since he is rumoured for the battlepack. On the First Order Pack I'm also excited too. The Flametrooper sounds cool. I'm really hoping he comes with the backpack and the flame gun the other ones came with, instead of a stud shooter. I've never really hated stud shooters, they were kind of neat when I first saw them, but I'd be a bit sad if they took up the spot of a specialized weapon rather than just regular blasters.

I gotta say, I'm fed up of stud shooters. Well, not completely, but as far as Battle Packs go, I definitely am. Originally, when they were introduced, I thought they were a cool concept, and I really liked them. But at this point, I'm fed up of getting them in place of regular blasters. At this point, I'm running very short of normal blasters to go around my various CW and OT infantry, and getting these stupid stud shooters in every battle pack is really frustrating me. Jangbricks made a review on the new Deathtrooper one, and had a good idea. Keep using the stud shooters, but also include normal blasters with the set. A great idea, in my opinion. The set doesn't lose playability, but we don't miss out. I do hope they get rid of the stud shooters, or find an alternative like the suggestion above so we still get normal blasters.

For me, the problem isn't that they rereleased a set. It's that the set took up a slot for a better one. Like the Freemaker crap we are getting. Takes up space for REAL canon stuff.

This looks like the exact copy of 10179 cropped with the Photoshop magic wand and filled with black.

Uh.... I felt a disturbance in the force, as if people who bought this from the after market or bricklinked the thing suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced .

I already shudder at the MSRP!

My thoughts exactly - I wonder how people will feel if it's another rehash of an older set. Personally, I don't mind, as it's one of the few UCS sets I don't own, but I understand how angry people who paid exorbitant prices will be if it's the same.

Well I mean it's certainly not Lego's fault, they saw how much people were willing to pay for the thing and released the thing again; after all the only things that are certain is this world is death and Lego Starwars remakes

I would love if they reintroduced it with updates and new figs, now that I have a job I can pick one up!  Hopefully they don't give it the 75159 treatment and jack up the price 25% for a few extra pieces though.
