With no way to help the rest of his party back up, Arx began searching for any scattered gems that had been discarded during the fight.

Arx searched, but could not find the pouch of gems that Nerwen had thrown away. It could be that Zaniah had took it with her...

"The ghost could be leading us to a trap, but then again, if she is, we'll probably just destroy all the enemies like we've always done. There is a certain joy in beating back whatever is thrown at us."

I search the ground with my Magnifying Glass in case any of Nerwen's gems fell with us, and then dig with my Magic Shovel.

Monk Pretzel could not find any gems, either, but as he dug, he found a particularly tough piece of rock, perfect for honing weapons. One of the Rocklings must have dropped it.

After giving Syrma the parting ceremony, Nerwen acquired all her gear. The party began to follow the Star Elf's ghost, until it disappeared around a corner. Would the party keep following it?

As the party moved around the corner, they heard a low, rumbling sound coming somewhere near them, and there was a shift in the thick air inside the tunnels.
