Arctic Truck Mk II

Hello All!

I want to show my new snow off-road truck. The chassis based on the Arctic Equalizer’s one but I’ve modified transmission for better performance! The model has full snow protection!

Total weight – 2650 g, dimensions – 40 x 31 x 18 cm, clearance – 4.8 cm.

The model has four RC functions:

- Left and right tracks, 2 x 2 XL motors

- Two-speed gearbox (1:1 and 1:3), M-motor

- RC winch (12:20 + 1:24 + 1:2), M-motor

As usual I place a few photos and still waiting for fresh snow…

Impressive model, I love the double tracks, the high clearance, the gearbox and it's overall bulky look. I bet it will perform very well on snow, cannot wait to see the video :)

Looks really good and the ground clearance is amazing. It should have no problems on any kind of snow!

It might be an idea to add liftarms to the tracks. Some other people did it with their snow vehicles to great effect.

Yes i know this technique! I use plates instead of liftarms for smooth running, but i think i should try both variants!

But what did you use to make that cave? My Ice Mole has not tunneled through snow yet, and I doubt it will this year, so sad...

Great! No wonder it crawls way better than my similar, but smaller moc with two L=motors.
