New Batwing pic leaked, still the same Bruce head. So do we think the new Val Kilmer cowl and cape are for the fig or does the leaker just have them? I’m not sure show much they suit Batwing, but when would that stop LEGO 😂

Hard to say at this point. Like you say, they don’t suit the character but it’s not like LEGO cares. Until a head or a set of wings leak, or the set is revealed, we won’t really know.

A lot of other themes have been getting set names leaked recently. Hopefully Marvel is next so we can rule out DC getting anything.

"Wow! Superman is doing really with critics and fans and will most likely make a profit with a Worldwide Box Office of over $600 million! How Many DC sets are we going to be getting for the entirety of next year?"

Clay just sent a picture with batwing with the cowl saying “batwing will be like this”

Apparently he doesn’t have a cape but uses that helmet with a different head.

*Superman 2 grosses $5B and wins 13 Oscars*

Lego: Best I can do is a minifigure scaled Batman and Robin Batmobile with a George Clooney Batman figure for $350.

Saw the movie last night

Lego screwed up big time by not making sets for this

I've just seen Superman, and I can't even remember a recent superhero movie that had so much set potential.

The chances of getting even a single set for Supergirl are slim, but I genuinely NEED one. Even more than for Superman.

I do wonder if we're potentially going to start seeing some more sets based on the Gunn DC stuff (aside from Batman, which I'm sure is a lock whenever that movie happens). Maybe Lego just isn't interested in covering movies as much anymore but honestly it feels like they're really missing out given how much money Superman is making.

Agreed, even if it's just a mech , which is the bare minimum 2025 had for superman (given it's the first appearance since the 2020 CMF). the last regular set  before that, being from 2018, and then 2020 CMF.

Supergirl had even less , 76040 Brainiac Attack from 2015 being the last regular set, since then it's been either very limited (2016 playstation Dimensions), 2017 minidoll, 2018 weird mighty micro variant, or a comic-con/famdome limited figure in 2020.

I just want some nice variation of DC sets , 2019 onwards has had like a dozen batmobiles , a few bat jets and batcaves, but after the 2020 CMF, DC outside of The Batman, pretty much hit a giant pause button.

After the ever-repeating stream of venom vs spider battle sets with cars, airplanes, helicopters etc, , Spider-man 2025 LEGO sets got quite a bit of different attention, with 3 "new york" building playsets containing a lot of variants of characters, and then the metro subway car scene , from raimi's spiderman 2. (altho have hefty price tags under Marvel)

The Superman mech set is completely sold out at my Lego store, and even the staff admitted that they missed out by not making movie sets…

Come on Lego!

Saw Superman the other day and I was quite pleased! It's a shame LEGO didn't do any sets because this movie had huge potential for sets but I understand why LEGO didn't do any (given how some recent LEGO Superhero movie sets have warmed shelves).

I wonder if Lego might release sets covering both Supergirl AND Superman next year, both to make up for skipping 'Superman' this year and to use Superman's greater popularity to help promote Supergirl. Yes I'm grasping at straws here, but Lego has repeatedly shown that it's willing to make sets based upon movies no longer in cinemas if they think there's a market for it (albeit usually a Batman movie or Avengers: Endgame).

I sure hope so, but it‘d still be quite bizarre for them to skip a movie in a franchise they already have the license for, only to release sets later on. This would mark the first time they ever did that! Not sure what our chances are, but if the movie keeps doing well, they might consider it! :sweet:

Saw Superman. I don’t think I loved it as much as everyone else here, but it was good. Really disappointed we couldn’t even get one set.

I could definitely see us getting a 4+ Fortress of Solitude with Supergirl, Superman, and Lex reused from the mech set.

I mean, LEGO didn't do anything for Across the Spider-Verse until this year, at which point we got a set and a CMF series for it, so perhaps something similar could happen for Superman if we're lucky enough.

Count me in with everyone else saying it's a real shame Lego dropped the ball on any Superman sets. I haven't bought any DC sets in a decade but I probably would have picked up the Superman sets after having just seen the movie.

I mean maybe this is just me being on severe hopium after seeing the movie but one of the minifigures from the Wicked bookends set has the S curl Superman hair piece in black (the first time it's appeared in 5 years in that color since the DC CMF's), so Lego could easily use it for a Corenswet Superman minifigure next year now that it's seemigly back in production again.

Ohhh, good point, forgot about ATSV!! So there is precedence after all! :sweet:

More than anything else, I really want comic based minifigures for the Justice Gang.

Spoiler

Not surprised a name that bad came from a guy with that stupid haircut.

We’ve already gotten a perfect Metamorpho minifigure. We’ve gotten plenty of Lex and Superman minifigures. But no Mr Terrific or Guy Gardner. And Hawkgirl’s one minifigure was fine from the neck down, but we could use a better version of her.

Are we getting 10 cells in Arkham with the 10 villains? that's got to be most of the build plus the entrance, No space for interview rooms or doctor rooms?
