  1. I'm pretty sure more evidence leans towards the Skrull switch occurring post-Endgame. Gravik was still working with Fury at least long enough to help retrieve DNA samples from the Avengers in the immediate aftermath of Endgame, and a deleted scene from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier seemed like it was meant to establish Rhodes only very recently demonstrating greater mobility than before after an "upgraded procedure" (which was presumably meant to be when the swap occurred)
  2. I guess Ms. Marvel remains the least problematic mutant in the MCU by default right now...
  3. It'd be so annoying if they made a mech set for BTSV and it wasn't SP//dr.
  4. If Punisher is off-limits, I'm trying to think of the remaining minifigures LEGO could could try doing, probably starting early 2028 if the timeline on NWH sets is any indication:
  5. With how extraordinarily well Brand New Day is doing at the box office, I wouldn't be surprised if LEGO tried to come up with something to squeeze an extra set or two out of the movie.
  6. If there ends up being more BND sets in the future, I'd hope Ramrod turns up somewhere.
  7. I guess I must be the target audience for Lasher, considering I had the ToyBiz Lasher as a kid as my only symbiote figure that wasn't Venom or Carnage.
  8. So is anyone else thinking about adding the new CMF unicorn to their Forbidden Forest?
  9. I just remembered that there's an easy reference to the third movie that could potentially be made by giving Pinocchio a baby carrier piece.
  10. I'm hoping that we at least get Shrek's Swamp and a buildable Dragon next year (presumably with some Shrek 5 minifigures included) It'd be really easy for LEGO to do at least one more CMF series, considering at least a third of the characters included in the series that we are getting have multiple potential variants that could be made, and the number of notable characters still unaccounted for as minifigures entirely for is pretty large: Monsieur Hood King Harold Queen Lillian Artie The Princesses from Shrek the Third Poison Apple Villains Everyone of note introduced in Shrek Forever After Everyone of note introduced in the Puss in Boots movies Potentially Shrek 5 characters if the sets don't include everyone of note I'm not sure if LEGO would do the Three Little Pigs as full-fledged minifigures, but they could potentially be added to the list too.
  11. It'd be funny if one of the Puss minifigures had his iconic "cute eyes" expression...
  12. Dragon as a minifigure sounds like an odd choice, considering she could've easily taken up a set on her own. It'd also be a bit weird if we only get a Gingy minifigure and not a microfigure. Surely Donkey has to be included as an accessory with someone, which makes me wonder if we'll get other non-minifigure characters included as accessories in this series. Some of the character choices, such as getting Merlin over Artie, plus the apparent lack of anyone specifically from the fourth movie seems odd. I wonder if in the future, we'll get a full wave of sets, or perhaps a second CMF series for this license.
  13. Considering this is the 35th anniversary of the franchise, I'd certainly hope there's more than one set coming. This seems like an ideal opportunity for the theme to be putting out extra sets, or even a CMF series.
  14. The idea of a gold Batman minifigure reminds me of the minikit build from the very first level of the first LEGO Batman video game. Probably just a coincidence, but I still think it's sort of neat.
  15. I mean, if it's a comic based set, I could see the build being a small storefront or something to go with the other buildings we've been getting.
  16. Apparently Cream was the third most used character during the closed network test for Crossworlds earlier this year, so I don't think she'd be a bad choice for a car set.
  17. A Raimi Daily Bugle would definitely feel more distinct from the D2C set. Spidey and Jameson have existing minifigures, and I'm sure characters like Betty, Robbie, Hoffman, Peter Parker, and Eddie Brock would largely reuse existing prints, leaving most of the minifigure budget to go towards a new Green Goblin.
  18. I'd like to think the Sandman set is a Spider-Man 3 set with a Symbiote Spider-Man (maybe with a breakable water pipe build?) because it could have some synergy with the Spider-Man 2 train build we just got.
  19. If we end up getting a new DCEU Batmobile, I wouldn't mind Harley Quinn being included, considering how rare the TLM2 version is.
  20. I wonder if the Batman Logo will include minifigures like the Marvel Logo does. As a note, the Captain America and Hulk minifigures from that set have a few prints that remain exclusive, and it was also the first appearance of Iron Man and Thor torso prints that were reused in other sets months later. Maybe this could help get some of the Arkham villains their proper costumes?
  21. I think the last minifigure scale '66 Batmobile came out in 2021. I think a five year gap between releases seems reasonable for a design that is pretty iconic. Of course, I wouldn't mind if they surprised me and went with a design that hasn't been done before, like one of the Arkham Batmobiles...
  22. I think the set looks cool, but I'm overall still fine with my TLBM Arkham, and the lack of new villains is rather disappointing. The only minifigure I'm really interested in is Batwing, mainly because he's never been done by LEGO before. Ivy is also a highlight, but I don't know if the new version would quite be able to replace the TLBM version as the definitive LEGO Ivy in my eyes.
  23. I'm curious to find out how many of these new minifigure prints will remain exclusive to Arkham
  24. For another comparison, Across the Spider-Verse was released in June 2023, but didn't get a single set until January of this year. So early 2027 for Superman set(s) seems like a reasonable guess if LEGO gets started on development now.
