Its funny how these things happen... Quote
pow Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Interesting news from Town subforum: You might have noticed that City's Explorer Train - 60470 is using Powered Up and comes with remote control. So Powered Up is still (relatively) alive. Not sure if that says anything about Powered Up in upcoming Technic sets... A bit off-topic but I was wondering what the two new straight track pieces are Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted April 22 Posted April 22 According to Bricktastic.nl, 42209 is not going to be the purpose-built Volvo L120, but the L120H Conversion model. Obviously I don't know how credible this is, but here it is anyway. Here's the English translation if you don't know Dutch, or can't be arsed to run it through a translator: Volvo fans can get started with two new sets this summer, including the LEGO Technic 42209 Volvo L120H Electric Conversion Loader. This 973-piece model will be released in the LEGO Shop on June 1, 2025 for €99.99. The Volvo L120H Electric Conversion Loader is an electric version of the L120H. It offers the same performance and productivity as its diesel counterpart, but with zero emissions and quieter operation. The electric drive system means lower energy consumption and reduced maintenance costs. The L120H Electric Conversion is especially suitable for urban construction sites and indoor work, where a cleaner, quieter machine is required. Quote

This seems like they may just be separating the loader from the truck in the 42175 set? Quote

Satisfied Posted April 23 Posted April 23 We'll be able to see pictures of the new product in a week Quote
Auroralampinen Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Well, i discovered, that the galaxus at website has the 42210 description. So it seems the 42210, will have all the bells and whistles. Like a gearbox and many more complex mechanisms. Now im really exited, after reading the product description:). And, also galaxus at website, has the product description for the 42208:). Quote
Timorzelorzworz Posted April 24 Posted April 24 (edited) Do not take this marketing bashing too serious. In the end these are two (boring) cars as usual. "Promotes understanding of mechanical principles through complex construction" ... a working steering and piston engine as usual. Edited April 24 by Timorzelorzworz Quote
Zerobricks Posted April 24 Posted April 24 So much word salad, yet so little information about things like scale or functions. With 1410 42210 seems to be a 1:12 scale and the 42208 1:16. Quote
thekoRngear Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Quote With 1410 pieces, this set offers a demanding building experience for adults and engineering enthusiasts That piece of word salad somehow has made me slightly more interested into this set. Quote

Timorzelorzworz Posted April 24 Posted April 24 If the Valkyrie comes in green or finally dark green this should be an instant buy. A green car is missing in the Car Transporter Gang. Quote
AVCampos Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Isn't the 42138 transporter-scale? (even though it's a pullback with no steering) Quote

I hope for John-Deere-regular-green in the Valkyrie. Otherwise green is completely missing in the 2025 lineup. Edited April 24 by Timorzelorzworz Quote
