Could make a lot of sense, since Friends hospital is retiring, 2025 releasing an ambulance that's not 4+, the airplane + the hospital bed soapbox ,  , and they have had hospital releases alternate between City and Friends years.

Will be interesting to see the color scheme of the building, as Police and Fire changed to a darker color scheme with black, and the red/white/azure would not really make sense anymore with the current medical theme, they probably make some building with Turquoise accents and very little neon yellow, only around a helipad or ambulance parking spot or whatever.

I have a feeling some Winter ski/snowboard set could also appear again, maybe a ski slope with more of a cave system, instead of a glass building, seeing how they introduced some caves and train tunnels, with the 2025 snow exploration, and they hint at a Yeti and $$$ mining.

Could also have some sort of cave crooks hideout, going by the 2025 Police Car garage with a ski-car, and the off-road chase set.

Do you think we are due another mobile command centre truck. I’d like to see one in the style of the recent trucks like 60445, 60440 and 60408. I also feel like a cargo truck is overdue also.
An airport is due as we’ve not had one since 2020. Would like to see it with a working conveyer belt and a six wide plane.
Would like to see an articulated dump truck in the style of 60471.
I am already making predictions on the 2026 wave

So , after reading those Bricklink Designer progam rules, my theory of a mining theme next year seems more unlikely , Technic having Electric/Hybrid loader/excavator also seems to follow those rules regarding prefering Electric vehicles (last year also had that Mack electric garbage truck)

  1. Avoid highlighting fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas (e.g. depicting refineries, fuel storage or gas stations). It’s acceptable to showcase historical methods of transportation that rely on fossil fuels (e.g. steam locomotives). When honoring existing real-world vehicles, fossil-fueled ones are acceptable. For generic vehicles, consider making them electric to fit a playable and fantastic universe.
  2. Avoid showing any destruction of natural environments for human benefit (e.g., deforestation, logging, mining, land development, monoculture plantations, etc.)

So, a dwarven mine would be ok, because it isn´t for the human benefit I guess? ;)

The Deep Rock Galactic player in me would have no problem with a dwarven mine, throw in a tiny steam engine with a few ore wagons and you have yourself a deal

If you are visiting a Fossil store for watch and suddenly the power is out, never never never ask if they are running out of fossil fuel or it won’t be pretty.  (Pun intended).

Anyways, it make sense that we dont’t eee gas station set for long time. We have reneweale and clean energy now. Say bye to fossil fuel.

60467 Tow Truck feels a quite tempting set. I like the construction truck, though I kinda wish it was it's own separate set and we got something else like a bus with the Tow Truck.

Bu the truck itself I really like. Ties in well with the Scrapyard and I *think* shares a colour scheme/branding with the 4+ truck from last year?

I’ve got a feeling we’ll get a dump truck next year as the size of 60471.

As for the tow truck, I feel like there’s a start of a new subtheme coming along

I dislike LEGO possibly getting political, as it leans towards trying to indoctrinate certain ideals to kids. Stay out of the politics and create a variety of city sets that kids/adults like!

Regarding the new Big Tow Truck/Dump Truck set, for the first time in 32 years of driving a vehicle in MD(16 years) and now CA(16 years) of the US, I just saw the other day a big tow truck towing a dump truck! So the reality has settled in my mind, but 90 bux is out of the question for a purchase. Either I wait for a good discount or I'll see if the Dump Truck is reasonable priced and sold separately on Brick Link/eBay.

The pointy bits on old spaceships were “antennas”, getting the classic Jolly Roger in the Pirates theme was an uphill battle, and a designer got chewed out (almost losing his job!) for putting a skeleton into a prototype castle’s dungeon, but sure. 😐

Was looking at those 2025 Spider-man sets like 76311 (miles vs spot, with a NY police car), 76317 (peters appartment) and 76324 (oscorp) , and those structures remind me a bit of previous 3-in-1 structures with how they connect , but because those are under Marvel + those figures, they are way more expensive due to license + figures.

Same goes for the metro car in 76321 Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock Subway Train Scene (even has the LEGO trains logo as a sticker) .

But still, those are the type of "City" sets that are very nicely designed (even tho some structures like Oscorp set are pretty simplified with those 6 wide panel walls), but the color schemes and texture are nice, just very very inflated by the figures and license.

Preserving life on Earth isn't political.

Honestly, at this stage in the timeline, climate change deniers should be banned; and you;’d need to have had  your head up an exhaust pipe for the past umpteen years if you hadn’t noticed Lego make specific commitments to progressive and inclusive issues, both in its sets and in real life.

Life is political.

Life is political.

It is important that people can have different opinions and banning such a basic freedom is very dangerous. But this is not the place to discuss that. I disagree with a lot of people on different issues but I would still defend their right to free speech and their right to have opinions.
