Does anybody have a rough idea of when the Donkey Kong Arcade will be revealed?

I do hope they do a Krusty Krab set next year, it’ll fly off like hot cakes! Hopefully this is the start of a reboot for the SpongeBob theme. Would love to see a detailed Chum Bucket and Boating School too!

Definitely, they’re increasing their train’s, so I’d love to see them increase their buses too. Anyone hoping for a Lego City Telehandler next year in the same size as the backhoe loader and tractor?

Some 2027 set lists are getting released, it’ll be only a matter of time until we see a list for the Mario ones, piece count and numbers I reckon. I am predicting 6-8 sets.

They sound like brilliant ideas, we are due a new hospital and police station since we last had them in 2022. I’d also love to see another Lego City bus as I feel like we don’t get enough of them. We haven’t had a big city centre for a while so that would be cool to get. Would like to see a Coast Guard 4x4 and Seaplane, as well as a telehandler, combine harvester and cargo truck. I am looking forward to see what Lego City has in store for 2027!

I also would like to see Waluigi, Daisy and Rosalina too. I can see minifigures being made of Koopa Troopas, Dry Bones, Hammer Bros, Nabbit, Shy Guys and Kemak. Would Bowser JR and the Koopalings be normal minifigure size or a small big fig similar to Lego Rock Monster figure? What sets are you all hoping to see and how do you think they’ll work?

I’ve heard that Bowser will be a bigfig, what do you mean by the merino?

It will be interesting to see to what type of trains we will get next year after the Police Train Heist, Classic Beach Tram, Harbour Freight Train and Vintage Steam Train. I reckon we could see a Fire Train, a new Passenger Train, A Subway with station or either a Tank Engine, Medical Emergency Train, or a Construction Train too. We could do with a railway excavator or a wheeled excavator or a mini one.

Would love to see a telehandler too!

Or we could get a castle one, a recreation of the dragon rollercoaster at Legoland.

I’m really interested to see how they’ll make Goombas in minifigures form, I reckon they’ll be a new mould along with Spinys, Lakitu and other characters.

I reckon they’ll be more, I think we have about 10-11 vehicles with the elephant logo on them. I reckon we will see either a big road roller, skid steer or a wrecking ball crane next year.

Hopefully we get more confirmation and hopefully to see the set list soon too. On the website under the FAQs there is confirmation about getting minifigures of Mario and his friends and foes as well as iconic characters and environments from the Super Mario universe.

I’m also hoping for some news soon, still waiting to see the set lists for January 2027, i reckon we will get a Peach minifigure in the first wave of sets, if not definitely the second. I think she’d likely be in the Bowser’s Castle set, but definitely a Peach’s Castle set. Does anyone think we will get a D2C with minifigures in 2027? If so, I feel like a D2C UCS Peach’s Castle is on the cards inspired by Super Mario 64.

Maybe the next city rollercoaster could be around Atlantis.

I’m hoping for a minifigure scale Peach’s Castle alongside Bowsers Castle, Standard Kart, Mario Bros Van or Yoshi’s House. I think it’ll be 6-8 sets per wave. I hope they give us characters that the course building system never did e.g. Petey Piranha, King Bob Omb, Daisy, Rosalina or Waluigi. It’ll be interesting to see how the enemies translate into minifigure scale, like Goombas and Koopa Troopas. I wonder who they’ll make Nabbit and Ninji into minifigures? I can see new moulds for Boos and Goombas. Imo, I think minifigures will definitely boost sales for the Mario theme in general as long as they aren’t smart brick sets. Just wanna see a set list for 2027 Mario sets so badly!

Fairs, it’ll be interesting what it looks like, it’ll be interesting to see future D2Cs. Do you think we’ll get a minifigure scale Peaches Castle alongside the minifigure sets next year?

I’ve heard comments saying it could be smart brick and also have minifigures.

Does anyone think that Lego City are forming their own preservation society? With the steam train and beach tram, it makes me wonder, are we going to see anymore vintage vehicles in the future?
