A tram going through the city I think would be a big seller. Have the track raised partially by platforms and give it 9V and Bluetooth capability. Basically it would be a bigger versioned monorail set that came out in the 80's. If City would stop allocating so many resources for a million different versions of Police Stations and Fire Stations, then it could be done. LEGO is a multi-billion dollar toy company, so they can find resourceful ways to come out with cost efficient monorail like tracks. The same track molds don't have to be used again!

Overall, City for January 2027 feels like mostly a dud! Kind of disappointing compared to what we got the previous 2 years. How about a high rise office building or a high rise apartment building? Bring back flat road plates again!

Unibricks on YouTube just gave some kind of list. From the list, it doesn't look appealing so far. City Construction might be taking a big hit. There is a 30 dollar construction set dump truck/bulldozer/cement mixer, but my feeling is it will be a 4+ set.

I'm just curious, after the August 1st US releases for City, is that it for City for the rest of the year?

A Skid Steer w/ the same front loader bucket as the new Backhoe would be nice.

I wonder what the next Construction set will be after the Dump Truck/Front Loader/Trailer Office set? My guess would be a Tower Crane, Track Wheeled Crane w/ Wrecking Ball, a Big Road Roller or a new Skid Steer Loader. Probably not gonna happen, but I would like to see an Asphalt Paver or Road Construction Crew w/ a truck like vehicle. Saw a video clip somewhere from someone that heads LEGO City, with them saying there will be a total of 7 Construction sets that have the Elephant logo. Have we reached that total or are there a few more?

Correct me if I'm wrong. Most of the countries outside the US, Summer City sets are released in June, and then for the US released in August?

There are leaked pics of the Backhoe...It looks good. I think it most resembles a JCB 4CX. New front loader bucket and new backhoe bucket as well(it's a smaller mold of the bucket the Excavator has). Also, there appear to be rear stabilizers, but hard to tell if they are vertical or if they lift outward.

Yeah, I took a second look and it looks like something is there but still too blurry to tell whether they are vertical or out rigger stabilizers.

It does look the same, but I bet ya it's a smaller bucket mold. What I'm more curious, possibly ticked about is they didn't implement rear stabilizers to stabilize the Backhoe. Which means I'm gonna have to mod them in like I did with my MOC Backhoe Loader in my Avatar pic. I can already noticed they copied very similar to my backhoe hydraulic setup.

This looks fantastic and very good detail without any stickers.

I need to see the Front Loader Backhoe! It better have a new backhoe bucket mold, like the Excavator was properly given!

Does anyone have an explanation why LEGO City set 60495 The Recycle Truck has not been sold at Targets yet, despite being released on January 1st? I see it's on backorder @ LEGO.com, but available @ Walmart. Usually Target sells all January 1st releases, whether on shelf or online.

Man, the new construction sets for the summer I can't wait for...
