Yeah sounds like the usual ‘speculation packaged as fact’ non-proven YouTubers are known for espousing.

If we do get the Y-Wing, it would make more sense to base it on the Bad Batch rather than TCW’s finale IMO. Just opens up more possibilities. Outside of Jesse, characters like Ahsoka, Maul, the 332nd, and 501st are all readily available as it stands anyway. Conversely basing it on TBB allows for the potential reuse of the main crew (outside of Hunter) who we haven’t seen since 2021, as well as introducing more interesting minifigures especially if it’s based on the Bracca episodes.

To be honest, outside of Tech and Wrecker who are more or less perfect, the other members of the Bad Batch could seriously use a do-over.

Also, the new wave of Funko Pops based on Ahsoka have been revealed. Thrawn, Enoch, and the Night Troopers are all there, but interestingly Ezra is not. Hopefully we get some more stuff from the show from Lego and Hasbro next year

Is Kellaren all that desirable? Like I get that it's cool they brough him back and all that, but in the end he's just a bald human in jedi robes. I could take a Mace fig, swap the head and add a cape, and boom, Kelleran Beq.

I'm gonna kinda follow along with this and say that the scene was, in retrospect, just okay as a whole. It was another unnecessary Order 66 scene to add to the list. As much as I'm glad Ahmed Best got to come back, the figure is, like you said, a swapped out Mace Windu head with a robe (because you know the LEGO fig will be pretty much that)...

Really? Because there was rampant speculation for quite some time concerning who saved Grogu from the Temple and finally seeing it was satisfying to a lot of fans, especially with it being Kelleran. Not only was it a great reveal and a cool action scene (IMO), it also gave Ahmed Best some well-deserved vindication!

But that‘s just my $0.02  I’m glad the set exists, even though it’s quite surreal to have one based on a flashback. Has to be a first, unless I‘m overlooking something! I assume it will look quite funny in my display cabinet, especially if Clone Troopers are included. Doesn’t exactly visually fit with the other Mando stuff, but placing it in the other cabinet with the PT stuff wouldn’t make much sense either

No exaggeration but before S3 I’d seen theories that literally every single Jedi could have saved Grogu even like Mace Windu it was like you said one of the most anticipated reveals for S3 I kind of hope they do an episode in S4 covering the rest of the 30 odd year gap between Prequel and Mando timeline.

I am surprised we didn’t get a Babylon surviving order 66 scene in Ahsoka tbh

I bet all the folks complaining about Rex's missing kama feel a bit silly this morning. It's clear Lego blew the cloth budget for the next 5 years on Baron Harkonnen's robes

It's crazy how good the Dune Ornithopter looks in comparison to last year's Justifier. Same concept of large ship with a transformation feature, but done cheaper and with twice as many figures.

it's a $5 difference i don't think that really means much

the figure selection definitely makes it look like a better deal though

I’m sure the Star Wars license had something to do with it, but also one is a children’s set and the other is an 18+ display model.

The latter's a fair point, but you can't tell me that Warner Bros doesn't have a licensing fee in the range of disney.

I think that's the point he was getting at. $5 more isn't much if you only look at the price, but if you look at what's actually there, the Ornithopter easily seems like 30% more value or more.

And it was worth it. He seems to have a new head too, and.... as I'm typing this I guess it makes sense why they couldn't use the Luthen Rael head since the baron's bald.

All of the characters have new heads (even Paul, who could have reused an existing one).

Yeah I am not invested enough in DUNE, but I am really happy for the fans. This is a fantastic set considering it's probably a one-and-done.

Description says "flappable wings", hoping that's a technic action feature. I did appreciate the unique technic build for the spider tank this year, as an elder bionicle fan I love when technic gets used well in sets.

I watched the reveal there is a handle you squeeze at the back which makes the wings flap

Solid Brix Studios has uploaded this year’s Lego Star Wars Designer Panel event on his channel. Quite an interesting watch and it was very Clone Wars-focused.

In other news, Hot Toys have revealed their Grand Admiral Thrawn figure and Hasbro have announced an Enoch / Night Trooper multipack for the Vintage Collection. If a Chimaera isn’t on the cards next summer, I’m sure something like an Imperial Gunship will be forthcoming just to close out Lego’s coverage of Ahsoka.

I initially had no issue with the Justifier. When it first released I did not have my critical eye on and gave it wayyy too much credit. Once I saw the source material I was blown away! The wings are so tiny and not at all the right proportions. Not sure if I should even call them wings? The proportions of the entire build is so bad. I hope Cad Bane can appear elsewhere as that current set he’s in is hideous.

At Hasbro's 1027 event they also revealed a black series multipack of Mace Windu and his purple clone legionnaire. I can't help but think the purple clone is connected to last year's fighter tank, as it's such an obscure character.

Mace Windu also has his TCW armoured gauntlets, as he did in the fighter tank!

I never buy any of the mini builds. I wish they would completely drop the mini builds and the magazines would always come with a minifigure. Doing so they would also sell much more magazines in general.
