There is some news in that direction? :) Hi, I maintain personal fork of BC2 and as it looks the original repository is somehow out of maintanence right now, I'm having my own builds and releases. Recently I've added base support for PFX for my own as my PRs to the original reporitories are not getting merged. There are additional features from other contributors as well. E.g. MouldKing support. Have a look here, if you are interested: https://github.com/vicocz/brickcontroller2/releases Regards Vit Quote
AVCampos Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Indeed, I haven't heard from @imurvai here in a while. Hopefully nothing happened to him. Quote
gyenesvi Posted June 4 Posted June 4 I think it's just not maintained any more, he probably does not have time/interest. Also, probably, it would be too much work to pick it up again, because all the old code became outdated over time. Sometimes it takes a lot of time just to get your old code compile again on a new computer, and onto new phones, whic evolve md over the years.. Plus you have to pay an annual fee to Apple if you want to keep releasing apps for iPhone.. so I would not expect any updates here. Quote

Does you have an overview what Modules (MK4, MK6, ...) will dvertise what data ? Or does these Modules not advertise and can not be "seen" by BLE-Master ? Will here also supported the New MK-H4.0 & ML-H6.0 Boxes ? Does the "Blade-Hall" Boxes (MK-BH4.0 & MK-BH6.0) use same Commands like the H4.0 / H6.0 Batteries ? Jo Edited June 7 by BrickTronic Quote
imurvai Posted June 8 Author Posted June 8 Hey, Sorry for now showing up for a long time and thanks for worrying about me. There's nothing wrong but my interest kind of shifted a bit away from Lego recently. I'll get it contact with some of the guys who made fixes/improvenents in the github repo and try to release a new version. Quote

Some controllers are not recognized after multi-controller updates among the latest update items. Some controllers work on Android systems, but the BC2 app recognizes it as an unnamed device and does not work. There seems to be a problem because some controllers are not given a controller ID. Are you willing to solve it? Quote

Information about this controller has been shared by Battery PoweredBrics in the past. https://github.com/imurvai/brickcontroller2/issues/92 Sorry to hear something might have been broken in my fork. Without physical device to test, it's quite hard to tell what the issue could be. Obviously, when mupltiple controller support was introduced, device filtering was added in Android. This might be the reason for that. At least I hope. Here is the suspected filtering part: https://github.com/vicocz/brickcontroller2/blob/default/BrickController2/BrickController2.Android/PlatformServices/GameController/InputEventExtensions.cs 6 hours ago, Seo-onDaddy said: Hello. TheQuoteMan Posted June 12 Posted June 12 Big thanks to Istvan, JOK3R and vicocz for your continued work on the app. I am a part of LEGO robot combat community (in the UK) and we all love the app! It allows us to do so much more in terms of motor/receiver configurations as well as layout of motors within a bot! I'd like to make one request/suggestion for a feature, which hopefully will not be too difficult to implement: Exporting profiles, which would allow us to keep them between various builds/forks of the all. Hopefully that's not too much trouble to add :) Once again thank you for keeping this all alive Quote

It's also useful for backing up in case of device upgrade or format, and for sharing alongside building instructions. Quote
Huskyboy39 Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Hi I just recently purchased a few Buwizz 2’s. While I can get the Buwizz app to run them, I am having an issue where Brickcontroller2 can’t find them when I hit the scan button. Same with controls. The firmware according to the app say they are up to date with 1.2, though I’ve seen a 1.3 on their website. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Quote

If you're running 1.2.30 install an older 2024 APK, available on the Buwizz support site, and then update the firmware. Quote

Jo AFAIK MK4, Mk6 do not advertise any data. They just listen to specific advertisment data. The other questions are more to be answered by J0EK3R as he is the author of supported MK and CADA devices. Quote
BondemandClausen Posted Sunday at 07:04 PM Posted Sunday at 07:04 PM (edited) @vicocz I can understand that you now are the one who makes updates on Brickcontroller 2, correct? I have now three Buwizz 2.0 that cannot be found when i scan for new devices. Is that on purpose? I'm quite depending on the BC2 for my MOCs, that runs Buwizz and Sbricks at exhibitions. next event is here wednesday the 2. july, and 4 days from then. Is ot possible to get the problem solved before then? Latest update of BC2 on my phones are from the 13. june 2024 in Google appstore, and there are not any newer updates available Best Regards FarmerClausen Edited Sunday at 07:11 PM by BondemandClausen Quote

Based on your information I guess you are facing issue with the recent BuWizz 2 firmware as described e.g. here: https://github.com/imurvai/brickcontroller2/issues/142 AFAIK there are 2 options for you: * use the official BC2 and workaround based on the previous firmware (you need to downgrade the officail BuWizz app, have a look at some previous post here, somebody has published the guidelines for that) * use APK from my forked app, but it 's not distributed via any store. In case you accept all the risks, have a look here: https://github.com/vicocz/brickcontroller2/releases Possibly you can ping Istvan, he promised to release the app (hopefully) soon.
