How does the Artemis Rocket stay in place then

Dunno, I haven't researched the mechanism. The System brick that mates with the worm gear is loose in the sense that there's no friction beyond that of parts sliding freely against each other.

Can anyone with the wormgear and the new nut connector confirm if the nut can be slided freely along the worm gear?

If you could 'push' the connector in the lower image over the worm gear it would need to rotate along is main axis.
It is similar to a nut on a threaded bolt/screw.

I'm not familiar with the mechanism, but it seems that it could easily be accomplished with a gear on a friction pin, or just having enough gears involved that they have enough friction on their own

Isn't there a friction pin in the gear train?

Yes there is. In fact there is a neat ratchet mechanism which serves as a noise maker when lifting off and supplies friction against going down again. (Pretty much how a real rocket works in fact !:wink:)

https://rebrickable.com/parts/6596/tyre-816-x-142-motorcycle-z-racing-tread/ Really looks like the same size as these tires (~10 stud * 2 stud), interesting.  I wonder if they'll use them in black for a motorcycle.

Windshield is I guess dual molded with bars at the end.  Stuck into half-pins.

For my simple and quick test, looks like tire is very similar size with vespa. (75.1)

Left one is vespa(75.1) and right one is old motorcycle tire(81.6)

New Technic parts in the Model T (wheels, windscreen):

Finally a car set I might actually consider buying!

Hopefully they make next Detroit Electric model 1916, perhaps as collaboration with Disney, as Grandma Duck's car has been modelled after that one and it would suit well the TLG's attempt to introduce electric vehicles to the lineup.

Yes, this!

My dream come true would be Bugatti type 35 or some other 20's-30's race car in the 1:8 supercar scale.
