  1. Sanity check. Try looking again. I can see the wheels are still available for ordering, at least for me.
  2. Aside from the new electrical parts, it looks like the points/switches are also back in stock (at least for now!)
  3. I think it is just reflecting the ability/inability to ship to regions, with regions being enabled over the next few days. I'm in New Zealand and can still see the wheels are still in stock.
  4. There are some switches back in stock, although they look to be selling quickly. As of about 5 minutes ago, both the boxes with a pair of left switches and those with a pair of right switches had sold out. A box with one left and one right switch are still in stock at the moment. Regards, David
  5. I did build a Diamond Crossing, more than 10 years ago. Have a look at this thread:
  6. I'm also interested to see how it gets integrated into their display. We have a public display in July at Riverhead, so they may have had a chance to incorporate it into their display for that. If so, I'll post a picture.
  7. At a recent display, one of the members of my LUG had a Friends display that contained a zipline. Since I like MOCs which contain an element of movement, naturally I asked, "Does it go" (i.e. meaning do they go up and down the zipline), to which the answer was "No". So I offered to come up with something that would remedy that. This is what I came up with: The building instructions for it are available for free download on rebrickable.com. Although the instructions indicate a 32L axle as the "line", it also works with a suitable long rigid 3mm hose, with a Bar Holder with Handle on each end with a 1.5mm round brass rod (such as these) inserted in the hose to provide suitable stiffness to the hose. I picked up the brass rod from my local mitre10 (a hardware store).
  8. Perhaps this is a variation of this ?
  9. GBC at Japan Brickfest June 2024
  10. You can probably adapt the Minifig Mover to provide movement for these, with the concept being to attach the model to a "conveyor belt"(of sorts) and move the conveyor belt. David
  11. Living in the country at the bottom of the world that is most often left off maps, it is fairly normal to wait for things to arrive here which the rest of the world has already got. However, this is perhaps one of the rare occasions where we have been lucky enough to be close to the original port of shipping to not be the last cab off the rank! In my mail box today, was this little beauty ... Whoo hoo! David
  12. I don't think this part has been listed here previously: 3 x 5 Liftarm with Alternating Holes
  13. That concludes this year's AuckLUG Community Advent Calendar builds. Our LUG members have had fun pulling these together and we hope you enjoy building one or more of these models when you have some free time. Regards, David
