Hero Factory Contest Results!

The results of the multiple contests that went on during Hero Factory Month have been posted! Click here to find out who the talented winners of the MOC and art contests are, who the lucky winner of the raffle is, and to congratulate them!

News in the brief: Over at the LDD forum, we are trying out a concept called RCB (Relay Community Build). Basically it is about building a MOC together by passing the model from builder to builder, and that each builder adds on what the previous have done. If you want to see what this is all about and follow the build, have a look

Marvel Super-heroes in the Minifig Customisation Workshop some time ago, Eurobricks Forum member and LEGO customiser tin7 produces a new series of Collectable-style minifigures, based on characters from past and up-coming films: Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor, Fantastic Four, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and The Incredible Hulk.

So far, TLG has provided us with two places to visit, a lovely Winter Toy Shop and an equally inviting Winter Bakery, but wouldn't it be nice to have an even larger Winter Village full of festive fun?

LEGO Group and Disney Consumer Products Announce Building Sets Inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean Films

BILLUND, Denmark, Nov. 18, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- The LEGO Group and Disney Consumer Products today announced an upcoming collection of LEGO® brand Pirates of the Caribbean construction toys that will set children's imaginations sailing on thousands of build-and-play adventures. Scheduled to launch in spring 2011, eight new building sets will bring the action, stories and characters of the entire series of Pirates of the Caribbean films to life in LEGO form, including the spring 2011 premiere of the fourth installment, "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides."
