Eslandola expanding in Brethren of the Brick Seas

    Capn Frank
    By Capn Frank,

Eslandola (the Green Coats) has been expanding its influence on land and sea in Brethren of the Brick Seas.

    28059654263_bd6c945443_c.jpg

Legostone build a great representation of a Barque, the Esmeralda. Come check out the fine details of this vessel from the magical sails to fine hull lines in the Brethren of the Brick Seas Forum.

    01z_alt_overview.jpg

Capt Wolf has built traditional indigo dye production facility. With Merchant's Colonial Trading Company of Eslandola's monopoly on textiles, it makes sense that they would also control the dye industry. Review this topic as Capt Wolf takes you through the process to develop Indigo dye. It is builds like this that expand the influence and prosperity of Eslandola in Brethren of the Brick Seas.

Our Frontpage has been filled with BrickWorld builds for weeks, and here comes another exciting entry from our own History Moderator, Ecclesiastes!

This build is set in the frozen northland of Mitgardia, but it would seem even the coldest corner of Historica has summer, every now and again.

Check out Noriach here, and see what is happening with the guilds here!

    By Ecclesiastes,

The Hobbit and Lotr sets are out of production for a while now, but Tolkien's work is still there to give plenty of inspiration to builders out there. Like these mocs made by Graham Gidmanand Legonardo!

    REVIEW: 10252 Volkswagen Beetle

    Jim
    By Jim,

It's 1964. Vietnam is starting. Martin Luther King receives the Nobel Peace Prize the year Nelson Mandela is jailed. Sony introduces the Video Cassette Recorder, and the computer mouse is invented. Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor marry for the first time. The Beatles are riding high in international charts, but I want you to put I Get Around by the Beach Boys on your internal gramophone, grab your shorts and the keys to your Bug, and head on over to Californ-eye-ay coz' we are going surfin'! Before you do that, head on over to the Special LEGO Themes forum to check out this this great review brought to you by our very own Special Themes Moderator Rufus!

    Pirates Invading Lego Events!

    Capn Frank
    By Capn Frank,

Keep a weary eye for sails in the horizon. Pirates are invading Lego Events on both sides of the Atlantic! :jollyroger:

Beware of a pirate display invading a Lego event near you!

Sweetsha shared the Pirate collaborative display at Fanabriques 2016 in France. He worked with two friends; who are Kloou and N3rik68 in Flickr.

    27447501264_5608c69b16_k.jpg

I had helped organize a Pirate collaborative display at Brickworld Chicago 2016 in the United States. ZCerberus, Dukesc, Kurigan, Curvedroadplate, Col. Brik, BuriedinBricks in Flickr, and I all contributed to the display.

I would recommend checking out the great builds in these displays in the Pirate MOC Forum.
