This is strictly a work in progress. But on my other entry KimT jostled me along to get this uploaded.

There is quite a bit left to do, but i'd be interested in some feedback...

Nice though the senate chair things that palpy and yoda throw around are a bit too colourful.
Can't wait to see it when it's finished!
Thanks to Jebediahs for the great avatar!

I agree, it looks like you are completely on the right track, but the yellow really throws the color scheme off.  THose platforms were pretty much all grey.

That's a great idea for your entry 'mookage'! Interestingly, I though of this one also if I had the chance to join the contest. Though the construction of your senate pods is not what I envisioned it to be.

To suggest some improvements:
- Maybe you could make the pods more circular, larger, and smoother.
- As much as possible, limit the color of the pod to light/dark bleys.

Sadly I came downstairs this morning to find this in pieces on the floor (with a guilty looking cat sitting in the space on the shelf where it used to be!)

I may try something else instead of putting this back together.

That's awesome... too bad the stupid cat knocked it over. If you manage to rebuild it, try keeping it just greys and bleys.

Sadly I never got  chance to reconstruct, so I'll just have to go as is.

Cat has not approached my lego since - may have scared it!

That's too bad. At least the cat's staying away now.
