When I was in Italy, I saw a Smart Car vending machine.  Yes, you read that right.  Those models you made would look very interesting stacked inside a huge vending machine.  Yes, the LEGO factor means that you can only have one seat, but that's no different from classic town cars.

This is AWESOME!  Such a nod to the classic line, but with a current theme.  I love them!  I have to make one or two, or a handful.  :)  They are sooooo cute!
How many bricks can a Eurobrick brick, if a Eurobrick could brick bricks.

Haha those are some really well designed cars and I would love to see a race solely with smart cars, how cute!
I need a better camera, to photograph Lego, but I need to buy more Lego so I have something good to photograph, darn I can't win...

Those are cute and instantly recognizable. Good job on making a minifig fit.

The Smart has been without competition for too long now. I will post a new thread with a competitor which is about the same size. Then we can race!

I bet that would be one slow, quiet race.  It would be a super cute race though.   :cry_happy:

very cute indeed.
you've design it very well.
adding some headlights in front would make it perfect.

Great job making a very recognizable model in a very small space. I've been needing some small cars for my ferry, and may have to try my hand at these.

Thanks for showing these off and adding the pics on how you made them. I made a few for myself and modded a few. Different windscreens and made them police cruisers.  Cool idea, thanks!
