Yes, it certainly is amazing Bidault certainly deserves all the credit he can get for this creation. Although I'd gladly relieve him of it!

The Monkey Troupe is incredibly unreliable at times. It seems as though they act like a bunch of trained monkeys and I can't for the life of me figure out why!

Don't worry Captain Roger, if you have a Letter of Marque (and reprisal) their mother nation will grant you amnesty - providing you don't plunder ships of that nation and give a percentage of your plunder to the Monarch.

By all means share your lynching tree MOC. Nothing like a few skeletons hanging from a tree to bring anachary and fear amongst the common folk of the region!

Don't let Bloody Jay catch you writing that Vikings are similiar to pirates otherwise you'll trigger a huge debate. Been there done that.

But the definition of "Pirate" encompasses the actions of "Viking" (noun for a Scandenavian Pirate) and a "Buccaneer" (noun for a Caribbean Pirate). They both commit acts which fit the defition but its more common to call a "Buccaneer" a "Pirate" though this is exactly the same as calling a "Viking" a "Pirate". The only difference is wide spread acceptance of the former.

What do you mean you'd prefer to die a corsair? You'd need to be a pirate of Barbary Coast and preferably French for that. Wouldn't you much rather the Caribbean?

Very nicely done!

I have to say I'm a fan of Tan over Yellow, but that was the colour scheme from those older sets, so I still respect the effort.

Needs SNOT water though :pir_laugh2:

Great fortress! Not much SNOT's in it but still great. The cool thing is that this looks exactly like a set from 1989.

Again, great fortress!

Under a broad definition, even the actions of Han Solo count as piracy. Pirates truly do pwn ninjas :pir_laugh2: Piracy existed long before ninjas, and apparently it even exists in the future which is also a long, long time ago :pir-blush:

Oh, and to keep things on topic, great original looking MOC :pir-classic:
