exotrator Posted December 6, 2008 9-12 pounders 10a; Misc. Guns 2c Hello everyone, I just I'd share my cannon and Ribauldequin design with you. You may use both, as long as you give me some credit. Here's my 12 pounder, which I used in my PTV entry, "The Pirates of San Pedro". It's really quite simple... And a rear shot... And here's my Ribauldequin. I know it's a bit medievel, but I thought it looked pretty good beside a 1700 century soldier. Thanks for looking! ~Exo
RHadley Posted December 6, 2008 Wow... Nice Cannons! Those things look like they'd pack a deadly punch! That 12 pounder looks ace!
Captain Blackmoor Posted December 6, 2008 Waw, I love that Never seen the 4 gun-cannon before in Lego. And I like the simple, but nice and effective design of the 12 pounder
NewRight Posted December 6, 2008 The wheels on the cannon look a tad skimpy, but it is really brilliant and the simplicity is great.
QuartermasterRobert Posted December 7, 2008 I love that organ gun.

Mazin Posted December 7, 2008 No one mentionied that soldier is very cool to Cannonballs are little bit too big for this caliber, but it's still nice composition nevertheless.
Captain Blackmoor Posted December 8, 2008 I love that organ gun. Organ gun, just the word I was looking for
tedbeard Posted December 8, 2008 The 12-pounder looks really interesting but I cannot see how the barrel connects to the truck. Is it just sitting there or is there a connection I am missing?
Captain Blackmoor Posted December 8, 2008 The 12-pounder looks really interesting but I cannot see how the barrel connects to the truck. Is it just sitting there or is there a connection I am missing? I was curious on that too. Perhaps you can post an image of the 12 pounder, with one side removed? Already thanks
exotrator Posted December 9, 2008 Thanks for the kind words everyone, I'm glad you like them. Perhaps you can post an image of the 12 pounder, with one side removed? Sure thing! Here you go... Sorry about the bad picture quality, but I think it gets the message across. I used this piece to connect the barrel to the truck to keep the barrels rounded shape. The axles are cut flex tubes, in case you're wondering. Like I said, you're welcome to use the design, as long as credit is given. ~ Exo
Kliq Posted December 9, 2008 (edited) Very cool! For the axles, as you said they were cut flex tubes, but do you think a short bar (like the harry potter wands) would work? I might have to test this out. Edited December 9, 2008 by Kliq
tedbeard Posted December 9, 2008 Ahhh, nicely done! Thanks for the pic.
