Hound Knight Posted May 25, 2009 (edited) The Leslie Special was custom built for Leslie "The Great Leslie" Gallant III for New York to Paris race against his arch-nemesis Professor Fate. Here is my attempt to recreate this famous auto-mobile. Leslie poses with his auto-mobile. Reference. Enjoy! Edited July 2, 2011 by Rufus Indexed
Millacol88 Posted May 25, 2009 Cool little MOC. Judging by your reference pic you got the shape and proportions down, its just that it looks slightly big for minifig scale. Other than that, good job.

Hound Knight Posted May 26, 2009 Nice looking car, but this goes in Other Themes. H'm, OK. It seemed to fit in the Adventurers theme to me. Thanks for the kudos everyone!

Raphy Posted February 22, 2010 This is one of my favorite movies ever... and you made the Leslie Special really well! I hated Leslie though. Professor Fate was so much cooler. ;P
Legostein Posted February 27, 2010 Hello! That's a fantastic realization of the Great Leslie's car! I can not remember how often I saw this movie, it's simply great. I especially like the tyre construction, a clever way to get the white tyres from the original car in the movie. It would be great if you continued in the spirit of the movie and would bring us Professor Fate's Hannibal for example. Professor Fate constructed many nice machines which I'd really enjoy seeing bricked. Cheers, ~ Christopher
ric323 Posted September 7, 2016 I love it. :) New member here (plainly), so I'm not sure if there's a protocol for asking how you made it. I realise this is an ancient topic, but do you have a list of the parts required, or what sets you raided to get them? Ric.
