MaceWindu Posted September 24, 2011 Harry rushes to the lesson! To the lesson Transfiguration is 15 seconds, and he had stayed in the library... He is very-very much in a hurry! On the way Harry met Mrs. Norris. Not to say that he was pleasantly surprised, no, on the contrary, he stepped back and ran away from crafty cats Filch... Thanks fo watching! Legostein Posted September 24, 2011 Hello! A nice corridor you have built there. With many of these modules you could build an the entire layout of the castle. Cheers, ~ Christopher
Nick Wolfe Posted September 24, 2011 It looks real good. One suggestion might be to put a nice brick- built picture frame in the upper left hand cornet to take up some of that empty space, perhaps a knight with a cool pedestal or a brick-built staircase on the floor to add to a more intricate look. It just seems like it's kind of sparse. I also like the idea of the raised windows, but perhaps there could be a protruding arch above them to give it a more architectural look. Silverface Posted September 24, 2011 That's a good moc! But I could not help noticing, that the way Harry is walking is totally unnatural Human being don't walk naturally, if the same side limbs are at the back or at the front at the same time during the walk or run. Of course the case might be different with our little plastic friends! Overall this is a nice moc! Good job!
Oky Posted September 24, 2011 Nice scene, but I agree with Nick that the part of the wall above Ms. Norris is too empty. I'd follow one of his suggestions of fixing this. I'm also not a big fan of how the wall just ends at the top. It looks unfinished. I'd at least lay some tiles onto those studs to have it match with the overall smoothness of the rest of the MOC. Also, Harry doesn't look very much in a hurry. It looks more like he's just happily walking down the hall. I'd at least turn his head to the serious face and try to pose him in a better running pose. There are other things that puzzle me about this MOC (like why is Harry running away from the cat? It's not like he's broken any rules, has he? And since when do Hogwarts students carry suitcases into Transfiguration class?) but that would just be nitpicking. So with a few small modifications, this could be a great HP MOC, so keep up the good work!

For examle, Harry is very sad, because he's late for the Poitions. Mrs Norris is afraid of him... And she is running away! Thank you for your valuable advices! Well done MaceWindu.
