Heppeng Posted October 29, 2014 It will soon be that time and I am a little concerned... My daughter wants me to really go to town on decorating our house and front garden, and to be honest I am also keen myself, but my imagination is running away from me... It has progressed from a few pumpkins, and gravestones, to maybe using a fog machine, to 'I wonder if I can make it so scary that even hardened trick or treaters won't venture in' I think when I start wondering how much a chainsaw costs to hire its time to rein it back a little... dr_spock Posted October 29, 2014 You do realize you have to post pictures of your work? Rain and/or snow is forecasted for Friday here I don't think I'll be decorating the outside.
Sir Brickalot Posted October 29, 2014 (edited) No one goes trick or treating near where I live. Don't really see what the fuss is all about. Edited October 29, 2014 by Sir Brickalot
Borador Posted October 29, 2014 We already had trick or treat here. It's always earlier than Halloween, for different reasons every year, don't know why this year. I remember that annoyed me as a child. It made the day of Halloween less special, you know? These days, I don't really do much, actually have a History paper that I have to do on Halloween... Scarier than any monsters or ghouls.
Mikuri Posted October 29, 2014 We used to go to a halloween party but we missed on it this year. We live in a appartment somewhat hidden so I guess we won't have visitors haha. Anyway, I'll be working this friday :/ We're more into christmas decoration than Halloween :P
samurai-turtle Posted October 30, 2014 We live in a appartment somewhat hidden so I guess we won't have visitors haha. Anyway, I'll be working this friday :/ I feel you pain. I will be working Friday too. On another note, I live out in the country and we usually do not get many "Trick or Treaters" any ways. Plus, they are calling for a "rain / snow" mix around here too. Im a brickmaster. Posted November 1, 2014 Well if you want to have a full on Halo-ween then you need to locate an angry alien race to fight and maybe some four wheelers to flip. Of course you'll also need armor with built in HUD and shielding technology not to mention rocket launchers, DMR's, sniper rifles, energy swords, needlers..maybe a big open space to it all in? Hope this helps!
Heppeng Posted November 1, 2014 Well that was a lot of fun! You know you're getting it right when some of them don't make it as far as the door... Not the greatest of pics as it was dark, but still... Christine's got nothing on my Frightlander! Looks a bit more tame in daylight but you can see more.. I had a fog machine running too but it was just a little too breezy for the fog to stay put.
jluck Posted November 1, 2014 I particularly like the details on your car
Only Sinner Posted November 1, 2014 This is really good, The monster car is what makes it, I think. I always make it a point to send my trick-or-treaters over to the houses where the owner obviously put some effort into the decorations. That's the spirit that makes Haloween. This is the start of the best time of year.
