SilentMode Posted July 6, 2011 (edited) It's taken around seven months, but I've finally amassed a small army of Gorilla Suit Guys. My original aim was to collect 101 of them, but after a miscount I ended up with 99 (a nice round number). My thanks go to everybody who helped me build the collection, as annoying as I've been. I plan on doing something practical with all of these figures - I have an idea brewing as I speak. Edited July 11, 2011 by Rufus Indexed
Legostein Posted July 6, 2011 I have an idea brewing as I speak. Hello! A Planets of the Apes diorama would be a nice use for them. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Rumble Strike Posted July 8, 2011 I have to admit, with some of the Collectible Mini Figs you think "That'd make a good army builder!". The gorilla suit guy... not at the very top of that list! Great shots though, very impressive when all formed up like that
Big Cam Posted July 8, 2011 I agree with Rumble Strike, I wood not have thought about collecting these guys in bulk, but now I'm curious to see what you have in mind.

SilentMode Posted July 8, 2011 I have to admit, with some of the Collectible Mini Figs you think "That'd make a good army builder!". The gorilla suit guy... not at the very top of that list! Fortunately Elves, Spartans, Dwarves etc. aren't my thing; I remember how hard it was to get a Spartan when S2 came out. Part of the appeal for collecting so many Gorillas was that initially they weren't very popular, although I liked them from the beginning - it also helped that there were four in a box.
