LDD Freezes During Startup?
Bobstapwns replied to Bobstapwns's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I'm not trying to open a model, rather I am just trying to launch the program itself. I don't have any models on it yet. I did try opening lxf files and same thing occurred. -
LDD Freezes During Startup?
Bobstapwns posted a topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Dumb question here. I installed LDD on my old laptop several months ago and it worked fine. I recently got a new laptop and installed it and during startup, the program freezes up (at 'Installing Bricks') and then I have to close it. It happens every time. I haven't been able to open it since installed it. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and the same thing happens. When I go in offline mode, it freezes as well. Is there anything I can do to fix this? (If it's any help this is LDD for PC, not Mac) -
Love Batman in blue. Love it for sure.

Town Square: best one. I don't know if I am seeing things but does the lady with the headphones (which are awesome-looking) getting on the bus in the Town Square set have the ball cap that has been used in the minifigures line? I am hoping so.

REVIEW: 71001 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 10
Bobstapwns replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I always look forward to reading WhiteFang's reviews and this was no different. I love it when you review the CMF series. Wow. Yet again, we have two of one minifigure in a box. Only that is multiplied by six. I still need the Forest Maiden from series nine. Because I use the feel method for every series to get all of then, I may or may not be able to get the six that have two per box. I wish they would make just a few more than two in each box. But that is marketing and how they make money and it is still fun to get them all. :P- 114 replies

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 10 Discussion
Bobstapwns replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I love this series already. :P The Baseball Catcher! I love that type of hat a lot and I really like him more than any of the others. I like it - the Stackers and the Clutchers. :P Just need a few of 'em to make a baseball game. That Skydiver...his face is amazing. I love the expression on him! :D The Gold Minifigure is way different from what I expected. He wears a hat. Great. Now I'll at least have something to feel for. Another printed mug and a book for the Librarian girl-thing... :3 That's nice. That "Trendsetter", as the preliminary names listed her as, has a nice phone and dog piece. :p There are so many great things about the figures of this series. I can't describe my favorites for all of 'em right now, but definitely one of my favorite series.- 1076 replies

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Bobstapwns replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Finally - a picture of one of the Man of Steel sets. :D That suit...it looks magnificent in my opinion! Zod looks pretty neat (the smirk looks great). Superman's laser-eye face looks incredible. The new graphic at the top of Superman looks, in my opinion, nice *don't ask - the graphics make the box more appealing*. Superman's other face - correct me if I am wrong - looks like it is the same normal one on the 2012 one. That's fine by me, but I prefer the other 'mouth open' one...but I'll live with it. I'll definitely get that set. -

I'm not sure if my eyes are deceiving me or not, but is that a mini-Joker's fun house on the board? :P The game already has me interested. As for the movie, I'm glad to hear there is finally a release date for the movie. I'm also glad we didn't get a new-suited Robin or Batman and we got the first Clark Kent. I wonder if he has a double-sided face...hmm... Both - the game and the movie - look great and I'm ready to buy them when they come out. -

The MOS sets sound very neat and I'll probably end up buying them. :3 On the other hand, the Batman game sounds pretty nice. It'll be the only LEGO game I'll ever buy. -

A Marvel game sounds great to those who like Marvel. My first thought was - "I'm not buyin' it..."... After seeing the 'first look' at it, I must say, it looks pretty nice and I'd buy it...if I had any of the *good* game systems it came on. -

I have a slight feeling that the Redbird Cycle from 30166 is going to be one similar to the one in the movie Batman & Robin. -

I bought the set a while back before Christmas so I have it and can confirm it comes on a card seperate from the instructions; not in a small seperate bag or anything. It just came unbagged which surprised me as usually it is in a seperate bag that contains no pieces. I will update this reply with pictures soon. I hope this helps. :3 -
REVIEW: 10937 Batman: Arkham Asylum Breakout
Bobstapwns replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I bought the set the day it came out at the LEGO Store - the 27th. I found the truck to be heavier than I expected. :3 That was a huge plus. I love the set and glad they made a revision to it. :P -

They were selling the new DC sets at the LEGO Store (US) before Christmas, it appears because that's where I bought both - 76000 and 76001. When I went to get Arkham the 27th, they didn't have them but expected a new shipment on January 2nd.
