Captain Green Hair Posted April 18, 2009 Nice scene Woody, i like the variaty in the uniforms. I can't help but wonder what the red thing in front of the cannon is...?
Captain Blackmoor Posted April 18, 2009 Nice decals Woody! They look great, especially the custom helmets are awesome. But just as CGH I don't know what the red thing in front of the cannon is. And what is the guy right from the cannon holding in his hand? It looks like a spyglass or something. Nice job Woody!
Skipper 24 Posted April 18, 2009 I love your little cannon stand Woody. The varying minifigures look excellent. Your custom hats match with your minifigs well too. Nice work.
woody64 Posted April 18, 2009 (edited) To be honest I searched for some parts lying on the ground: - a sabre - a French hat - and in my lego box I found this red part, maybe some holdering of the carriage. but the best proposal wins :-) the guy is wearing a spyglass by the way, the decals are mostly original Mosana decals or slight adaptations ... woody64 P.S.: More pictures you can find on: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34336019@N07/ Edited April 18, 2009 by woody64
SlyOwl Posted April 19, 2009 OO, I like it! The subtle green/brown ground really helps here. How did you end up colouring the headgears? They look really nice in black. And is that a girl on the back line?
woody64 Posted April 19, 2009 OO, I like it! The subtle green/brown ground really helps here. How did you end up colouring the headgears? They look really nice in black. And is that a girl on the back line? Currently I color it simple with Tamiya acryl paints. It's a 1 minute task per piece and the color is water solvable. No, there's no girl. Currently I'm reading Sharpe's Waterloo which inspired me for that scene and there are always girls in this books. So it's a good proposal :-) Further pictures you can find at flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34336019@N07/ Woody64
Guss Posted April 19, 2009 I don't like non lego or modified lego parts^^ but your little scene is still very cool , i just have a question, what does the red thing under the canon is supposed to be ? a little bird ?

Paulie Posted April 24, 2009 I am glad to see we have another Sharpe fan. Great job! Paulie
Commodore Hornbricker Posted April 24, 2009 (edited) Maybe the little red thing is some extra fuse or a lighter box. or it could be that the cannon just blow out a worn fuse plug. I love the customs! Edited April 24, 2009 by Commodore Hornbricker
Sir Wellington Posted April 24, 2009 Great moc, I love the uniforms, they are great! The hats are excellent also! I wish I had legos like that for my napoleon project.
