It all started with a power line repair vehicle, then the pneumatic kit I bought, then another look at one. It sparked my brain, make a boom lift! You have the pneumatics sitting next to you, use them.

  • Manual hog.
  • Motorized pump.
  • Air pressure release.
  • Switches next to boom.
  • Large long pneumatic cylinder (lift boom)
  • Long cylinder (extension)
  • Small cylinder (platform)

This is what appeared:

Grey gear is the hog.

White 3l half beam power switch, and air release switch.

Pretty cool! Is the car RC?

Not full rc, just for the pump, I will add that to op. The l motor runs the pump.

Interesting concept, but you would probably want to go for a bigger cylinder for the second stage of the boom. The small ones don't allow as much range and weight capabilities.

It is a small long one, so it it is the same length as the big one, just smaller for smaller area.

It is this one:

Based on your pics of the MOC, it is the smallest size, not the one you claim it to be.

Neat MOC, although the look is somewhat raw (or futuristic?). I don't see a reason to make it RC, pneumatic + manual operation = fun.

I have an idea to make a Jlg boom lift manually done, but using a crank. I don't own a hand pump.
