This is the first MOC I present here on EB. It's a large scale figure of Link from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time measuring around 1 foot/ 30 cm tall. He has 14 joints of articulation so he can be posed in several positions. This is also the first time that I have submitted a model to LEGO Ideas and it would be much appreciated if you could support and share if you like this model. Here's the link (no pun intended) to the project: Link to Ideas

Hi there, I made a Mario 8-bit based on the 30th anniversary Amiibo. I had to change to reddish brown for the torso part because my dark tan was depleted. :p More pictures on my Flickr page https://www.flickr.com/photos/118506643@N02/ Have a good Sunday!

Here is a second built made for french exhibition Brick A Dole 2017. It's a mix between a mosaïc and a brick built scene of a famous game of the 80's on Nintendo NES Castlevania. The mosaïc represents the introduction logo of the 1986 game. The scene tries to reproduce most of the game features : pot roast in the wall, skeletons throwing bones, zombies and torches. Both are clutched on a 48x48 baseplate placed in a vertical position. Hope you will enjoy it ! castlevania by 7857 Fabien, sur Flickr

I have built a scale model of the Nintendo Switch video game console, featuring controllers that are detachable in a realistic manner, and the ability for the screen to be built in either direction. I have shown it at my local LEGO convention before, but have more recently built the red controllers and alternate tile screen option. Above is a version of the screen built with studs toward the top of the Switch, depicting Link climbing a mountain against a backdrop of a sunset over Hyrule, from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Below is a version of the screen built with studs toward the face of the Switch, but using 1x1 tiles to maintain a smooth pixelated surface for the screen, depicting the Master Sword in its pedestal in the Lost Woods, also from The Legend of Zelda. The controller attachment uses a combination of parts 30586 (Plate 2 x 8 with Door Rail) and 60478 (Plate 1 x 2 with Handle on End), which allows the controllers to slide unidirectionally in a method that I have not seen used in a set, though I have not verified that it has never been done before. Instead of the typical use as a hinge, I have used parts 3937 and 3938 for providing a slight indent to accommodate the rail, without the loss of structural stability that would occur from just having a gap or using a 1x2 panel. I have not yet built a controller grip for the "Joy-Con" controllers to attach to when separated from the screen, but the sliding mechanism is compact enough to not pose a problem. I have only built the controllers out of red and dark bluish gray / medium stone due to limited availability of the curved parts 30357, 30565, and 85080 (or 3063). To facilitate the screen being built at a consistent depth in either direction I have used 2x2 jumper plates, since the hollow studs provide a half-plate depth against the face of a plate or brick, but get covered by the tubes of 2x plates beneath the tiles. The console (excluding screen) contains 94 or 96 parts, depending on which screen style is attached. Each "Joy-Con" controller contains 47 parts, thus 94 parts for one pair of controllers. The screen with studs toward the top of the Switch contains 203 parts as shown, but is quite variable upon the design. The tile screen contains 180 tiles supported by 10 plates. Below are the separated sections of the build, for which the total part count of what is shown comes to 679 (92+2+4+94+94+203+180+10). I have submitted the idea on the LEGO Ideas website, and if anyone is inclined to support the product idea, that would be appreciated. If anyone has questions or feedback, feel free to comment below.

I'm not entirely sure this is the right forum section, but I couldn't think of a better one :) So, here's a little contraption I've built with two goals: 1. Take NES console and make it 100% portable and 2. Make it feel like you're playing on an arcade cabinet. I hope NES Classic Mini owners will like that.

Anyone looking forward to getting their hands on the new Nintendo Switch? I'd say it's a very ingenious device with detachable controllers!

Some time ago, I built my own versions of The Three Dragons from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They are Naydra, Farosh and Dinraal. Naydra by Flickshot30, on Flickr Farosh by Flickshot30, on Flickr Dinraal by Flickshot30, on Flickr Bit of a spoiler alert: Naydra is based on Nayru, goddess of wisdom; Farosh, on Farore the goddess of courage; and Dinraal, on Din the goddess of power. The dragons could be found in the Lanayru, Faron and Eldin regions of Hyrule, respectively. Anyways, each dragon has fully articulated bodies, heads, claws and tails, and can be posed in whatever pose one would like. Though special notice must be made about the legs; they may not articulate the right way the first time so some fiddling is in order. The LXF files are on my Bricksafe page for downloading. That's all for now. Se ya soon!

As some of you might have seen in the Indiana Jones thread, I was teasing some big license that is coming this year, thanks to my source, same one for both Indiana Jones and Knights of Valor, told me that we are finally getting a Legend of Zelda theme! In 2022, isn’t that awesome? And yes, they are minifigure based! No app gimmick as far as I know. Now as always take it with a grain of salt but I trust him, and he confirmed that the set numbers, some from the nice pal who found the list on brickmerge, that is his source and according to brickmerge they are coming in April, so we should get a reveal soon! Now keep in mind, the release date is speculation based on brickmerge set list which is set for April release, and some of the numbers are complete from my source: 77011 Legend of Zelda 77012 Legend of Zelda 77013 Legend of Zelda 77014 Legend of Zelda 77015 Legend of Zelda 77016 Legend of Zelda 77017 Legend of Zelda Enjoy!

Introducing my 1:12 scale figures of Micaiah and Sothe from Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn! These figures have authentic articulation with many joints, Micaiah has details like her hair and scarf, which can be posed to suggest movement or wind, and accessories like her trusty bird Yune, a posing stand for Micaiah and one for Yune, two different sets of hands (open and fists) for Micaiah and sets of wings for Yune, three interchangeable face plates (normal, happy, and determined), as well as a magic effect and open and closed tomes of her light magic, Thani. Sothe has details like his scarf (same as Micaiah's), and accessories like a posing stand, two different sets of hands (open and fists), three interchangeable face plates (normal, determined, and shouting), as well as a kard dagger, Peshkatz dagger, and a green glowing effect for Peshkatz as seen in Fire Emblem Heroes. I made a display plaque for the each of them too! Instructions are available on Rebrickable!

This is my LEGO model of the Excess Express from the Nintendo GameCube/Switch game Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. This is a project I started over a decade ago of the interesting train from one of my top favorite games of all time. It has gone through many iterations over the years, and figured with the remake on the Switch releasing soon, now would be the time to finally share it. As such this is based off the original GameCube version using the in-game 3D models for reference. The train consists of an engine with five cars. The entire model is 48" in length, uses over 3600 pieces, fully compatible with Lego train track, and electrified via the Powered Up! system. The retro-deco styled engine with it's wacky large central wheels. The brick-built center wheel is driven via a geared system from the front wheels, and the rear wheels are Big Ben Bricks XXL flanged drivers. The engine itself is unpowered and is pushed via the motored car. It is able to navigate Lego's tight track curves but with a lot of overhang. Custom elements include painted starfish and a few stripes on the front nose and windshield. The first two cars contain the Powered Up! system. The front two axles of the burgundy car are driven by a PU Large motor and the car is filled with pennies to make it heavier for better traction. The teal car contains the battery box/receiver and has an easily removable roof to access it. The other three cars of the train are mostly hollow aside from internal structure support. All cars have custom stickers for the starred car number on the roof. This project has been a labor of love for many years, and am glad I can finally share it with others.

Fire Emblem, while not as big as other Nintendo franchises such as Mario or The Legend of Zelda, has grown to become one of their bigger franchises recently and one of my favorite game series! This MOC is based off the Aether Keeps mode in Fire Emblem Heroes, where you can either send your units to fight or defend to increase your Lift in Aether Raids or see your Heroes hang out together in the Aether Resort. Currently, the project sits at only 47 supporters on Lego Ideas. Right now, it would ideal if we reached a 100, but afterward I'm hoping that it can reach that sacred 10K supporters! Support it here on Lego Ideas - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/f56bd76d-66aa-4b2f-ad86-26291d03b2a6 References to each of the books in FEH's Story Mode

Fire Emblem Fates: Corrin (Male, Female, and Dragon)
StudWorks posted a topic in LEGO Action Figures
My 1:12-scale figures of Male Corrin, Female Corrin, and Corrin's dragon form from the Nintendo 3DS game Fire Emblem Fates! Instructions for all three are available on Rebrickable! Corrin is Fire Emblem Fates' main character/avatar, a noble torn between the kingdoms of Nohr and Hoshido. The human figures have authentic articulation with their many joints, plus various details from the game: Yato, Corrin's legendary sword and Omega Yato, the sword's true form. Dragonstone. Shape-shifted dragon head. Dragon fang shot arm with blast. Dragon lance arm. Three changeable facial expressions (normal, smiling, and shouting). Open hands and fists. Adjustable cape and skirt. (Female Corrin also has adjustable hair) A 1x1 plate to raise hip/legs assembly for crouching poses. Posing stand for complicated poses and stability. The stunning brick-built dragon also has authentic articulation: its head, neck, arms, legs, claws, tail, and wings can all be adjusted for posing. For lovers of Fire Emblem and LEGO, my 1:12 scale figures are the perfect, affordable way to show your love for your favorite characters. As most may never be produced in actual action figure form, here's your chance to build your own! Hope you like the figures, more Fire Emblem Fates characters are coming soon!-

Hello Eurobricks. First time in the technic forum so go easy on me, this is a bit tricky to explain. I am building a large screen which uses the same mechanism (treads with plates/tiles attached rotating around) from the Nintendo Entertainment System set, #71374. Mine is on a bigger scale but otherwise I copied the instructions very closely. I should note I don't own the set so I can only see it online for reference. After getting most of the mechanism in place and testing it I noticed the panels (tiles and plates which move along the treads) tend to wobble, as in they shift slightly up and down. I can't see any obvious reason for this but I am guessing the larger scale means the treads lose some tension over distance. Anyway, I figured instead of sulking I might actually flip the whole mechanism 90 degrees so the screen would now flow up and down, like credits after a movie. But that leaves me without a guide to follow, so that is why I am here. Has anyone used this mechanism flipped 90 degrees? I don't really know how to search for models featuring it. I am low on the pieces required, so it would involve dismantling my current setup in order to test the new one. If anyone knows what I am talking about (good luck) and has any suggestions/advice (I don't have any photos as this project was meant to be kept secret as long as possible) please post something, anything. Thank you.

Always loved the unique design of the Arwings from Starfox. Many cool Arwing MOCs already out there but with this I especially aimed for the classic blocky design from the original game (which is the best, imo) and I tried to keep it as small and simple but also as recognizable and playable as possible. Now that Lego has partnered with Nintendo a Lego Starfox franchise might be a thing?!?

Here is my video review on the new 71374 Nintendo Entertainment System: THE GOOD: Great building experience for both the NES and TV. The console really captures the look of the NES. The TV is definitely one of the best build so far this year in my opinion. The TV action showing Mario jumping around is great. Printed pieces. There are only 3 stickers in this set. Works ever so well with LEGO Super Mario. The little easter egg added to the NES is nice little touch. THE NOT SO GOOD (Really nip picking here): TV is more interesting than the console :P The game pak eject mechanism can be improved. Missing AC adaptor and actual connection from the console to the TV ... lol Overall, I love this set. The building experience was great and the end result is very very good. I'm surprised how well the Super Mario level works. Although it's one hell of a mission to align all those 1x1 tiles. There are so much packed into the TV. The console is also great, it's realistic and the way you are able to interact with the game pak and controller are great. Also, all those printed pieces!!! It's also interesting how the TV is designed, it's quite easy to switch the moving parts. I wonder if LEGO is planning to add expansion to this. (e.g. different game pak different game on screen?) Totally recommend this and definitely adding the LEGO Super Mario adds more fun to this.

Hi everyone, I have built a few video game themed vignettes for a contest on the BrickBuilding channel on Discord.. so, I thought I would share these here and turn it into a little "guessing" game. You can try to guess the title of each game, the answers are hidden in the spoiler tag sections along with a reference picture. Game #1 Answer: Game #2 Answer: Game #3 Answer: Game #4 Answer: Game #5 Answer: So.. did you guess them all.. and which one is your favorite?

This was also one of my builds for the Dual of Pirates over at brickpirate.net, with the dark tan ladder seed piece. I initially just built the 7 Koopalings, but then I also added Bowser Jr. after I lost the duel, and made him the trophy for Fujiia For those who don't know who the Koopalings are (shame on you!) they are the original 7 world-bosses from Super Mario Bros. 3 (for NES). They have since had a long break, before having been revived as bosses in some of the New Super Mario Bros games. Bowser Jr. was originally introduced in Super Mario Sunshine, but has since had much more screen time than the Koopalings. Original artwork: http://www.mariowiki.com/images/thumb/b/b0/Koopalings7.jpg/300px-Koopalings7.jpg Their current design: http://www.mariowiki.com/images/3/33/Koopalings_-_New_Super_Mario_Bros_U.png My original picture of them somewhat mimicked their poses in the picture above: The Koopalings by cecilihf, on Flickr But I have since taken individual pictures of them all. Roy and Morton are quite similarly built, but differently colored. Roy was the one I built first of all of them. Larry and Lemmy are the smallest ones. And yes, Lemmy can actually balance on the ball without any supports. But it is very hard to find the exact spot where he is in balance, and get him to stay there Wendy is the only female Koopaling, and is the most different design compared to the others. Ludwig's hair was the hardest to figure out how to do. Iggy's head is a bit top heavy, so it doesn't stay very well in place . Bowser Jr. has a bigger nose than the others, so I tried to make his face a bit different to emphasize his nose. And finally, a picture of the trophy with Bowser Jr. Bowser Jr. - DoP trophy by cecilihf, on Flickr

I've always wanted to make this classic console out of Lego, finally got around to it this past week. Lego NES by weltall1028, on Flickr It's very close to the real thing in size. The front has a power light, power and reset buttons, opening cartridge slot, and 2 controller ports. Lego NES by weltall1028, on Flickr The back has the power input (Technic brick with a harpoon gun inside), channel 3/4 switch, and the RF out (chrome 1x1 cone with a 1x1 stud with hole). Lego NES by weltall1028, on Flickr Real NES carts fit into the cartridge slot. Lego NES by weltall1028, on Flickr When pushed down all the way, the power light comes on. Lego NES by weltall1028, on Flickr Had some extra room on the inside, so I decided to add a random lightsaber duel. Lego NES by weltall1028, on Flickr The buttons have a rubber band behind them pushing out, and another rubber band going through them which pulls them inward. This enables the buttons to spring back into place. Lego NES by weltall1028, on Flickr The cartridge slot uses a hydraulic liftarm. You can view the entire photoset here. You can view a video of the MOC .

Hi everyone! I'm Kooberz and I've been doing Lego animation/videos for a long time, but these are a bit different. I recently finished short films highlighting all of the next-gen consoles...Trying to represent them all in a unique way. I loved watching their reveals at E3. Which one would you buy? If you enjoy, please Subscribe and share the vids around because I've got tutorials every Monday, and more animations + Brickfilming behind the scenes all the time. I'll be posting here more often! I haven't really seen any topic for this yet, but the Wii U has come out today. , and I'm pretty happy about it. Anyways, did any of you get it? What's your Nintendo Network name? Which games did you get? I got New Super Mario Bros. U, and my Nintendo Network name is 'just2good'. Also, there isn't a topic for the 3DS yet. Feel free to post your 3DS friend codes and game discussion here. Though, I really don't remember my friend code. PM me if you want to verse me in Mario Kart 7.
