  1. Hello guys and girls, here is another MOC from me: [MOC] Aratech 74-Z Speeder Bike -Samppu
  2. Hello, here is another small build from me, BARC Speeder. There is a Lego spring-loaded shooter under the nose of it. -Samppu
  3. Hey guys, Now it`s done and my Apoca AT-AT from EPVII cocept art ist finished! It`s my first AT in minifig scale and the next step ist to build that he can stand All photos you can watch on Flickr and here are the WIP-Thread. Thanks for watching and hope you like it? cya markus
  4. These are first the MOCs I am posting online since a hideous contest submission from years ago, so please critique both the MOCs and my photography (I'd like to improve at both). I made the dark blue speeder a couple of months ago, but i found it too bulky, so the other day i tried to make a slimmer, sleeker one and the sand blue speeder is the result. 5. A bit of a pop culture mashup to please the kids for Brickvention 2015. A Beggars Canyon race with some threading of the Stone Needle on Tatooine using SDCC speeder model derivatives. More pictures on flickr. https://www.flickr.com/photos/78271818@N00/16125684910/
  6. Because my Cantina project isn't quit finished I started to make some more fillers during the holidays. This being the third after the previous Outhouse and Communication Post and the first of the two holiday MOCs. MOS_Taxi-01 by L-space, on Flickr MOS_Taxi-03 by L-space, on Flickr
  7. Last week I've made a new concept vehicle for the Rock Raiders 2 game: Drill Craft 2,0. It's a new version of the original Rock Raiders set 1277 Drill Craft: http://brickset.com/sets/1277-1/Drill-Craft I've tried to build a lot of details in this MOC, added better drills and give it a more speeder look. pictures: 01_Drill-Craft_2.0 by LegoMathijs, on Flickr 03_Drill_Craft_2.0 by LegoMathijs, on Flickr 02_Drill_Craft_2.0 by LegoMathijs, on Flickr 04_Drill_Craft_2.0 by LegoMathijs, on Flickr I hope you like it
  8. My name is Pertyn Sawk, Pertie for friends. I got this name from my great-great-grandfather. He established a small speeder workshop on Bothawui and my family has been living there since then. We still produce small vehicles and I'm very proud of this. One day a group of men came in the workshop and asked for some small transport speeders. And this seemed very suspicious, since they didn't look like workers, but more like soldiers. But not imperial soldiers. They asked me some questions and I told them, that I'm not very fond of the current system, altough my life's not bad. I saw some stormtroopers intimidating my Bothan friend. And I knew why. My customers soon identified themselves as rebel soldiers and invited me to join them. It was a hard decision, but I said yes. I left the family business to my younger brother and went away. But I took my first speeder with me and I'm still using it. ---------- I've recently joined this RPG and I wanted to build a small, simple build to introduce my character. Thank you very much for stoping by. I would be very happy if I could get this freebuild judged. Thank you in advance. ----------
  9. A little LDD project I was working on this afternoon. Its a Rebel (or maybe Resistance) style outpost built along a ruined wall. Its a simple build, but I had some fun designing it. I used the Bluerender software to render it. Probably the funnest part of the build for me was this speeder based on the T2B Tank from several old Star Wars video games. Unlike the in-game versions, this one's main blaster canons have been replaced by a claw/crane for salvage and cargo. Basically imagine this as a speeder version of a tow truck. ;) It shouldn't be to hard to MOD it to include the in-game turret. The black bits on the side are supposed to represent locations for stud-shooters, for "playability" The main base itself. I decided to build it as an open air, against a ruined wall type deal. Mostly because I didn't want the hassle of building all four walls and a roof... There is a fusion generator, a computer terminal hidden under the wood shack. Crates, blasters, and an astromech charging port ala-Phantom Menace. I really like the idea of the "ugly" droid pieced together using old battle droid parts in the back. Must have been a Jawa special sale. Probably though the droids I am happiest with... A pair of G2 droids and an RX droid from the under-appreciated Star Tours ride (seriously there should be more MOCs based on that ride...) The RX droid is actually part of canon, appearing in the first season of Star Wars: Rebels, while G2 droids were mentioned in the former Legends canon serving the smuggler Talon Karrde. They are updated versions of an older design of mine. The photoreceptors of the RX droid aren't supposed to be that blue, that is a small rendering error I think caused by the blue background. Hope you enjoyed this brief MOC!
  10. For my new MOC, I used the LEGO Set of Rey Speeder to create a new one (minifig Scale) using only parts of the sets and none from my stock. The result is not perfect, but can be reproduced by anyone owning the set. The length of the speeder is around 12 studs which is near 4 meters like “real”. I kept the weapons/tools attach on the side. Rey can stand in the speeder as she bestride it. A parts can be placed instead of Rey when she goes down. As I said, the result is not perfect, but despite the parts limitation, I’m happy of the result. I also created an other speeder (with my stock parts) for the other minifig of the LEGO set (a "thug" of Unkar Plutt) which I called SandSpeeder (due to the color). Nothing special, but good with Rey Speeder… More pics (Full size) : http://abyssahx.blog...ifig-scale.html
  11. So I built a speeder bike. It's currently decked out in Resistance livery. Yes, I know this belongs in the pantheon of TFA MOC gods. Please, hold your applause. 12. This was made for my new video that was made in 22 hours. In the photo I included the original plate in the top left corner. Alot of the fx I added in was a rust texture for the speeder along with dust and some color correction. Alot of the parts in the speeder came from the Hulkbuster suit I made for an Avengers video awhile back. If you would like to check out the speeder in action here's the video below. Thanks for looking and may the force be with you!
  13. When all seems to be lost, ISB Agent Goatm An 46-1 dives into action. Lord Tyrus fires furiously into the overwhelming Rebel forces to provide cover fire. Officer VeR is in position to take out the Rebel's main weapon. As he blindly leaps over the edge of the icy gorge, Goatm quickly assesses the situation below... A Rebel officer presents an obvious target, but Goatm will need to save his blaster for the Rebels outside of his hammer's reach. The taun taun mounted Rebel will need to be removed from a distance, the gorge is too tight to outmaneuver the beast. Officer VeR still hasn't taken out the cannon; this could be a problem... Past scene... Goatm's favorite blood-stained hammer has been with him from the very beginning on Naboo, his families adopted planet. Goatm's father, Kalib Ritter von An had fled to Naboo with Goatm's mother when her father refused their marriage. She was royalty and he a lowly knight with a dubious past. On Naboo, Kalib joined the Naboo Royal Space Fighter Corps and worked as a carpenter. He regularly grumbled about the royalist system, managed economy, and interventionist politics of the Naboo elites. As Goatm grew older, he apprenticed under his father and was soon trusted with the sale and delivery of his father's creations. Goatm's father was too hard-nosed to politely deal with the entitled customers who desired his products, but Goatm had a humble tact with the clients that proved very useful to the family's prosperity. This continued on into Goatm's teenage years, until the Separatist invasion in 32 BBY. Kalib was quite sympathetic to the Separatist cause until the Trade Federation blockade. Despite being a former knight and volunteer pilot, Kalib An was a stanch believer in the non-aggression principle. While these Separatists should be free to leave the Republic, they had no right to enforce a blockade. Kalib prepared his family for the worse. Their home was already on the edge of a large conservation zone and Kalib had secured a tunnel exiting there. This was done early on in case the family had been found by Goatm's vengeful grandfather. On the day of the invasion, Goatm was sent into town to purchase more supplies with the remaining currency and wares the family had. Few on Naboo took the blockade seriously and Kalib's furniture sold at a premium because of the lack of off-world competition. Goatm hurried home as the invasion began. His mother and sister would already be into the tunnel and Kalib would be heading for his N-1 to fight back the invaders. Kalib didn't make it to his starfighter. Their home was swarming with droids. Apparently the Naboo government had been collecting records on its citizens for a long time and the data was not as secure as the bureaucrats thought. Kalib was quickly identified and targeted as a possible threat to the droid occupation. Goatm rushed in to see Kalib dying in front of their home; hammer in one hand. His father couldn't speak. He just bled out and died. Goatm would go on to lead a cell in the Naboo Resistance, tracking down collaborators and dispatching them with extreme brutality, often with his father's hammer. Goatm's mother and sister shunned Goatm for what he had become and once the occupation was over, they returned to his grandfather's court and Goatm embarked for new adventures in the Outer Rim. The story continues... Rescue Mission by Commander Beltar Med Evac by goatman461 1/5/15 Edited to include links and bonus pic showing the collaboration with BEAVeR.
  14. Last week I've made the Ultra Fast Tunnel Speeder. The Rock Raiders using this speeder for fast movement trough caves and other places where other flying units can't reach. The speeder have an basic equipment such as two lights at the front and a radar dish at the backside of the speeder. And extra elements that gain more stability and fast movement. The chassis of the speeder is a combination of Technic and bricks, which hold together by pins and plates. 16. And now for something completly diffrent ... Part III: Searching on Felucia Indeed, Boba Fett wasn't on Ord Mantell, so Monty, our brave hero went searching on very strange, yet beautiful planet - Felucia. Felucia is planet full of diffrent unusual plants, usually in strange colours, which you wouldn't expect to see in jungles. Many of them are very beautiful, but there're also some very dangerous and big, some of them even that big, that can eat a whole Wookiee. But there aren't just dangerous plants, but dangerous beasts like Rancor, too. But Monty and Rog didn't travel half of universe just to deal with botany, they came to find that old scoundrel, Boba Fett. -Monty, pal, I think Boba isn't here. Since we're driving here for hours and ... -... Since Felucia is also known for Rancors..., I know, Rog. We're leaving this botanical garden at once. To be continued ...
  17. "Ugh... Euh... Where am I?" Lego Spy says to himself as he wakes up with a headache and a good deal of sand in his armor. He stands up in the dark and smashes his head into something quite solid above him. "Grrh!" He growls becoming somewhat perturbed with his increasingly painful headache. Lego Spy reaches up and uses all his strength to move the durasteel slab from above him. As it slid away, he was blinded by the unmistakable twin suns of Tatooine. Everything suddenly came back to him: Cloud City, the battle, and his damaged ship spiraling to the surface of a planet. " " The question now: How to get out of the dump of crashed ships and wreckage?... Lego Spy finishing up on the currently unnamed speeder. Back View (^) Side View (^) Extra Pieces: None except for the minifigure. Here is the link to the .lxf file at my Brickshelf. I'm sorry if this is sloppy, I was rushed and started from scratch today. EDIT: Nope, no longer sloppy. All comments are welcome. And as always, for more of my pictures and MOCs, visit me at Flickr!
  18. Location: C04, Aeristus Tags: Vehicle, Piracy, Land Vehicle, Military, Spying Job: Driver Start Log: Back to work again, this time as part of time on Aeristus, sent to weaken Octan operations there. Naturally this was a stealth mission, so our vehicles were equipped with a darker colorscheme than usual, allowing us to blend into the night. Most recently we came across an Octan robot, it fled, but stood no chance against the cannons on my tank. Good to build for MANTIS again! The printed brick was a gift from Lady K at BFVA
  19. When I first went to see Star Wars Episode 7 on opening night, I've been very sceptical. I've seen Star Wars - The Force Awakens three times now. I love this movie, because right off the bat it delivers what makes Star Wars so great: Likeable and interesting characters, both heroes and villains that are fascinating, and a story that is driven by characters taking action and not endless, boring expositional dialogue. Discounting the Star Wars TV-experience with The Clone Wars and Rebels animated series, both of which feature likeable characters and some well-written stories and arcs, Episode 7 was the first cinema-experience that truly felt like Star Wars since the not yet special-editioned Return of the Jedi. I personally rank Episode 7 at number 3, right after A New Hope and Empire, because it was a lot more character-driven than Return of the Jedi, had banter like Empire and was fast-paced without being annoying. Rey and Kylo Ren are my favorite aspects of the whole movie - both are well-written and the acting delivers greatly. One of my favorite vehicles in the movie is Rey's Speeder. It doesn't have the legacy of a Millenium Falcon, the notoriety of TIE fighters, nor is it an icon like the X-wings, but it is a nicely designed vehicle that perfectly fits Rey as a character. It is like a huge jet-intake and fuel chamber feeding two vertically-mounted jets, and you sit on it like on a powerful bike, not like in a car as with Luke's speeder in a New Hope. I've seen quite a lot of MOCs of this vehicle already, but none of them quite spoke to me, so this was an opportunity to have a go at my own. As anyone who knows my MOCs, while I have build some rather huge and mid-sized Star Wars Vehicles of all varieties, I do have a soft spot for speeders. What I was trying to achieve with this MOC was the narrow sleek shape of Rey's Speeder, the characteristic intake and have Rey in a riding position on it, not in a sitting position. I am quite pleased with the result, and I hope you like it too. As always, constructive criticism and comments are welcome. Now that Episode 7 has rekindled my interest in Lego Star Wars, you can bet more MOCs will come in the near future.
  20. Hello everyone, I have built a space creation during the holidays. I have created an hangar. The hangar is sort of an expansion of set 5980: Squidman's Pit Stop. While I was building, I started to ask myself why I was building in red and black. I got the idea that it was an old M-Tron hangar that is used by the Black Hole Gang for their business/schemes. The building contains multiple sprayers for paint and a control area for a crane. The Space Police invade the hangar to stop the Black Hole Gang and the Blacktron II during a weapons deal. Here a few pictures of the building. Here some pictures of interior and the action inside the hangar. Comments and questions are welcome. Sander
  21. Yesterday I've build this smaal speeder. It's called the Explorer Speeder. It can be used to explore planets. It's just a quick builded MOC. I'm busy with some MOCs which are more complicated, so it's also fun to build some easier MOCs 01_Explorer_Speeder by LegoMathijs, on Flickr 02_Explorer_Speeder by LegoMathijs, on Flickr 03_Explorer_Speeder by LegoMathijs, on Flickr hope you like it :)
  22. Hello everyone. I am rather new to Eurobricks, and I'm happy to be on this site now posting and commenting on lego creations, etc. Anyway, I've always liked Classic Space. I've been ordering a lot of space stuff from Ebay and Bricklink lately in hopes of assembling a moon base in the future. So while I'm waiting for those, with the space stuff, and the blue parts I currently have, I decided to make a variety of neo-classic space stuff for the moon base too. I may release a few more ships in the coming days, weeks, etc. Anyway, here it is. SpaceSpeeder1 by Jim Kirk, on Flickr So frontal view. The Classic Space minifigs patrol the planet surface. The build is very simple, but I like it. It has a frontal blaster/scanner, controls and a seat for one minifig, and a back engine. SpaceSpeeder2 by Jim Kirk, on Flickr Side view. Antenna for communicating with the base. Hope you liked it, please leave comments, criticism, etc. Thanks.
  23. V-Galactic Racing: Midnight Bolt X by rolli A couple of weeks ago I posted my Crimson Hornet 3000 and my Scarlet Hare 20x, part of my fictitious space racing game V-Galactic Racing: Now I 'unlocked' the third racer: Its delicate front wings make it easy to handle and the low shaping with its long tail provide perfect aerodynamics. The Midnight Bolt X is a great choice for the crater hopping tracks! This was my attempt at a Vic Viper, although I'm a bit late to the game. It wasn't easy sticking to all the VV regulations but I'm quite happy with the final result. Loooove the medium azure As I mentioned when posting the first racer: I will add more racers in the coming months, whenever I feel like I need to build one or need another break - after all I need to unlock them all This time I just felt like building something inorganic and angled. Looking forward to what you think - let me know! Best Markus
  24. V-Galactic Racing: Scarlet Hare 20X by rolli A couple of weeks ago I posted my Crimson Hornet 3000, part of the fictitious space racing game V-Galactic Racing: Now I 'unlocked' the second racer: Crazy angles and a ton of flaps make the Scarlet Hare 20X incredibly agile and a good choice for the difficult asteroid tracks! As I mentioned when posting the first racer: I will add more racers in the coming months, whenever I feel like I need to build one or need another break - after all I need to unlock them all This time I just felt like building something inorganic and angled. Looking forward to what you think - let me know! Best Markus
