Hello all and welcome to my first ever Eurobrick Review! Sorry about the links I'm trying to get that fixed. I am LegendsOfNinjago and I will be taking you through the newest Ninja HQ: Destiny's Bounty II! Because I built the sets 3 days ago, there will not be any Building or unopened bag pictures. So sorry in advanced. HERE WE (NINJA)GO!!! 70738 The Final Flight of Destiny's Bounty Pieces-1251 Minifigures-9+2 Screamers Year-Summer 2015 Prices-UK-£99.99, €119.99, $119.99 (Bought mine via AmazonUK for $140) Let's start with the box! This bad boy is big and brooding. I didn't get pictures of the back but will try to upload those later as the box is not in my grasp currently. 2015-06-10 12.43.15.jpg , Along with the box, ou have the instrcution book. I only took a picture of the box to show you how large it is. Something like 232 pages make this bad boy my biggest book to date. There are also 10 numbered bags in this set and a sticker sheet with (I think) 18 stickers. 2015-06-10 12.43.51.jpg , (I also want to point out that the book began falling apart on me. I am unsure if this is widespread or if it was just mine.) Here are some new and recolored pieces. I like the new navy blue mouth cover aswell as all the new ghost pieces. Also the new Ninja masks are beauiful! The screamers are funny looking but can cover the top of a minifigures head (which I didn't get a picture of, but will with my Ronin Rex review). The AeroBlades are pretty coole and this set come with the Gold AeroBlade. 2015-06-10 12.51.29.jpg , Okay so here we have the Good Guys. 2015-06-10 12.45.03.jpg , Lloyd and Nya in her water garb are exclusive to this set, while Cole and Sensei (Master) Wu are not Without weapons 2015-06-10 12.46.07.jpg , Backs 2015-06-10 12.47.17.jpg , This is a new varient for Wu. This also appears in the Master Wu Dragon and his Dimension Pack. 2015-06-10 12.46.51.jpg , On to the new ghosty Baddies! 2015-06-10 12.48.18.jpg , Here we have Bansha, Morro, Spyder, Soul Archer, and Ghoultar respectively. Without Weapons 2015-06-10 12.49.19.jpg , Backs 2015-06-10 12.49.47.jpg , Morro and Spyder are "exclusive" to this as Spyder is just one of many of the named Ghost Ninjas with the same basic 3 looks and Morro has a cape in this set compared to the capeless one in his Airjitzu Flyer. ON TO THE DRAGON!!!! So the dragon in this set is meidum sized and one of the better looking ones in this line of sets. 2015-06-10 12.56.29.jpg , From head to tail he's over a foot. 2015-06-10 12.57.06.jpg , His head is super poseible, but because of the way it's attached to the neck, it has a problem of falling off. 2015-06-10 12.33.27 , He's made up of alot of nice piece but has alot of exposed studs, gaps and a set of technic spheres just sitting there. (balls would've sounded dirty). 2015-06-10 12.57.15.jpg , BOUNTY TIME!!!! This guy is a monster!! far my favorite ship Lego has ever produced. Alot of really nice details and alot more deck space that the previous Bounty. 2015-06-10 13.04.33.jpg , So the sails are the same thick plastic used for the Space Batman wings and HawkMan's wings from he DC sets. There is a lever you can pull down to expand the wings and a very clever locking mechanism to keep them from falling and all you have to do to have them "undo" is pull up the small lever. This entire wing system is lock into the hull of the boat so they are super secure. 2015-06-10 13.04.42.jpg , 2015-06-10 13.09.26.jpg , 2015-06-10 13.09.37.jpg , Here's the magic underneith the wings. 2015-06-10 13.08.56.jpg , On the boat there are also these cool cannons. Just press down the black stickered "L" piece and you have studs all over the place. 2015-06-10 13.07.18.jpg , For the rest of the deck you have the new dragon head which is nicely brick built, 2015-06-10 13.14.17.jpg , You have these to prison doors locking up swords. (They are probably in time out for being too mean) 2015-06-10 13.13.57.jpg , 2015-06-10 13.14.07.jpg , Then there is the Cabin. Here's the enterance. I was alittle disappointed there are gaps on either side of the doorway, so I may try to fill those. 2015-06-10 13.06.37.jpg , 2015-06-10 13.14.30.jpg , 2015-06-10 13.08.29.jpg , Here is inside. There isn't much buts some comupter screens, 2 chairs and some levers. There is also a mouse and a cheese wedge, which is accaully representing a cheese wedge! 2015-06-10 13.08.11.jpg , Here is the back of the cabin. You have the newish spring loaded cannons with the hooks. This area springs out with the wings on the side which I'll show you next. 2015-06-10 13.07.38.jpg , So, here are the side wings. There are things of beauty! Here are the steps of the transformation. 2015-06-10 13.10.23.jpg , 2015-06-10 13.10.46.jpg , 2015-06-10 13.11.00.jpg , 2015-06-10 13.11.11.jpg , Pretty cool, ehh? Probably my second favorite the about the Bounty, but my favorite is the hidden AirBike. 2015-06-10 13.11.58.jpg , Located in the roof of the cabin, this little bike shop could almost be missed! The Bike shop is complete with the all the tools Nya could need including a few extra. 2015-06-10 13.13.33.jpg , 2015-06-10 13.12.12.jpg , 2015-06-10 13.12.26.jpg , "WEEEEEEEE!!! I mean attack!" 2015-06-10 13.13.02.jpg , This boat also has a handle, but it's kinda flimsy. I took it out, but out it back in for the sake of the review. It's only help in a small technic pin with a ball joint attached. 2015-06-10 13.09.54.jpg , The set also come with a black teasure chest and a boox full of what I assume to be silver coins. 2015-06-10 13.15.20.jpg , I didn't get a picture of all the extra pieces as they have already found there way into sorting bins, but here are the notible ones I could remember. 2015-06-10 13.15.47.jpg , FINAL WORDS All in all this set is extemely worth the money. I payed $20 more than the US MSRP and the equivilant to the UK prices and am extremely happy with the set! The Bounty is very sturdy and has great "swoshability", trust me once my family left the house last night, it was open season on the ghost. The Bounty is also very well detailed and has a ton of cool features including the AirBike, the side booster Wings, and the top wings. The dragon while having some minor design flaws is still really cool and can be fixed with alittle TLC. The minifigure are all very well detailed! And this bad boy has 9 figures! Easily a 5 out of 5 in my books. Full Set: 2015-06-10 13.31.04.jpg , Hope you liked my review and if you need any more pictures or have any questions ask away! EXTRAS!! Althought Lloyd doen't have a face mask in this set they do look pretty cool with the suits 2015-06-10 13.16.14.jpg , Sensei Wu with the pirate hat!! 2015-06-10 13.28.30.jpg , Dragon Dance! 2015-06-10 12.58.59.jpg ,

Hi EB, here is another review of a set from previous Ninjago wave ; the titanium dragon. Name : 70748 : Titanium dragon Theme : Ninjago Year : 2015 Pieces : 360 Price : 39,99€ The box Middle-size box with a lovely color code and this wave's "jungle" environment. As always the back of the box shows the different play features. Stickers / Pieces Small stickers sheet to add some details : And 4 bags of pieces (some seem pretty empty) : Well, not a lot of interesting parts Still some beautiful Anacondrai equipment parts and a dark tan "scale" wedge that were already spotted in the 70749 - and 2 parts that I never had before : - flat silver parts that will be used as wings (also present in the Milano set) - technic pin connectors : round 1L in dark bluish grey (in some recent sets - but never seen before for me) Minifigures Again a nice figures combo Let's start with Zane that is now the titanium ninja with a detailed dual head : Then Clouse - magician and Chen's right-hand man - in my opinion the star of this set Dual head for him too and a nice haircut (from SW rebels sets - in black this time) : Last but not least Chop'rai - snake version of Chop with these wonderful shoulder pads : Build We start by building a little outpost for our villains, that hides a key (don't know what this key opens but it seems to be valuable ^^) and a small catapult that throws a chain bola. Now let's move on to the main build - the dragon itself. Not quite convinced with the overall result Good point for the brick-built head, in my opinion it is a great improvement compared to the previous ones with 2 meta-pieces for their heads, but it doesn't look like a dragon head for me. I don't know what to think about the wings either, maybe not the better choice. Not very dragon-ish for me Remaining parts One extra technic pin connector round 1L - else nothing very noticeable. Opinion Well, I guess after reading my review you understand that I am only half-convinced with this set. In one hand I'm a huge fan of the minifigures - 2 great exclusives ones and a beautiful snake - but on the other hand it is really the dragon's body that worries me Especially with previous dragons in Ninjago sets that were really good. Beside the dragon's aesthetic that I am maybe the only one to dislike - the set is very playable, and Ninjago sets are often seen with an interesting discount. So in my opinion I would say that with a lower price why not - else better add some extra money and go for the fantastic 70749. One last pic to conclude :

Get set for the ultimate Mech Battle as Zane’s Titan Mech takes on Blade Master Bansha’s Ghost mech – Mech-enstein! Place Zane in the cockpit and adjust the arms and legs and rotating torso for awesome battle poses. Fire the stud shooters and dodge the massive swords of the 4-armed Mech-enstein. Then take the action to the air with the rocket-booster backpack! Give Zane support with Jay and Nya, firing the spring-loaded hook shooter to try and topple the Ghost mech. Use all the cool Ninja weapons to stop Scythe Master Ghoultar getting into the Samurai X Cave and stealing the Aeroblade! Includes 5 minifigures with assorted weapon and accessory elements: Zane, Jay, Nya, Scythe Master Ghoultar and Blade Master Bansha. When I first heard of this set, I was very interested. When I first saw the set, I knew I'd be buying it. And so here we go, one brand new Ninjago review. Did it turn out to be everything I hoped for? Read on to find out! Set Name : Titan Mech Battle Set Number : 70737 Piece count : 754 Price : £39.99 Figures : 5 Front of Box. It does seem like a large box for a £40 set, but I guess it needs the width to show off the artwork. Back of Box. We get a couple of panels showing another battle image, a few images of the characters included, plus notifying you of which Aeroblade you get, and that there are others to collect. Top of Box. We see the five characters that we get in the set, plus one of the little Screemers, and the 1:1 scale image using Zane to convey the size. What you get inside. Two instruction books, two sticker sheets (one for each mech) and six bags. Bag one builds the little rock outcrop and missile shooting platform. Bags two and three make up Zane's Titan Mech (which also appears to be named Zane 2.0) and bags four, five and six make up Mech-enstein (yes thats the official name) (As a change from what I've done with previous reviews, I'm going to post the parts selections for each bag and their subsequent leftovers, and leave the reveal pictures for after) Parts selection from bag one. Leftover pieces from bag one. Parts selection from bag two. Leftover pieces from bag two. Parts selection from bag three. Leftover pieces from bag three. (Little worried about the 1x1 brick in white but after double-checking the instructions it's definitely not missing from the build) Parts selection from bag four. Leftover pieces from bag four. Parts selection from bag five. Leftover pieces from bag five. Parts selection from bag six. No leftover pieces from this bag, which was a nice surprise. So with the build complete, and the weather being very agreeable, I haphazardly carried it all outside for some better photo options. First up is this little rocky build which holds the Aeroblade. Lego label this as part of the Samurai X cave. Nothing major to note here, it does it's job for the story element of the set. Second is the little turret with the spring loaded missile. A little bit of back up for Zane, most likely included due to the slightly less imposing look of the Titan Mech to Mech-enstein. Samurai X. No major changes to her outfit that I can see, and comes with double face as standard. Jay. Once again we have a new outfit for the second half. He comes with a single sided face. Zane. Everyone's favourite nindroid is backing sporting the same new style costume as his fellow ninja Jay. He retains his double-sided face from the first half year sets. Skreemer. This little ghoul appears in multiple sets, and seems to be the grunt of the ghoulish baddies. These can be attached to a figure's head, I'm guessing to represent them being possessed. Scythe Master Ghoultar. (A pain in the behind to balance on his ghostly lower half) The obvious opposition for Jay and Nya to fend off. Blade Master Bansha. The driver of the Mech-enstein. The Titan Mech. I'm happy to say that it's every bit as good as I hoped it would be. The thing I like the most about this is the fact that it still looks darn awesome without a pilot. A couple of plates to fill the gap and you're good to go. The other thing that also attracted me to it is, weirdly, the legs. I can never MOC the legs of a mech to the pontiff me liking it, and yet theres such a simple build to them yet they look so good! I've been disheartened recently with the lack of any knees on the mech's that Lego have released recently, but with this it doesn't affect it at all, the model is still very posable. The blades on the arms of the mech are a nice touch, and the fact the designer placed them facing in opposite directions is a nice change, and stops the model looking too symmetrical. Mech-enstein. One of the largest vehicles in the ghoul arsenal, it's definitely an imposing beast. Think how General Greivous would look if he were in the world of Ninjago and was a dribble mech, and this is what you'd get. Four arms with massive sword blades, fierce claws, lots of ghoulish green and a creepy spider for good measure. Alas, there is one problem... There is hardly any movement in the ankles. The brown slope and spoiler piece limit the possibility to almost nothing. It suffers in the same kind of ways that Emmet's Constructo Mech did. Removing the spoiler helps with lending forward, but the brown slope piece is integral, and would need replacing with a 2x2 rather than the 2x3 used. Other than that, this set is perfect. Zane only appears in his normal ninja outfit in this set, but all the other figures show up in other sets with no change to their printings. I think one of the other major drawing points of this set is its PPP (price per piece). If my calculations are correct, then this set comes in at a pretty amazing £0.05 per piece. I know that it's not a licensed theme etc, but its still very good value considering the large amount of white and new coloured pieces included. I would go as far to say that this set is the highlight of not just the second half year sets, but for all of 2015 Ninjago. I hope you all enjoyed reading my review, and you're welcome to add any extras to the review if you wish. Some extra pictures can be found on my flickr at : https://flic.kr/s/aHskeEgJ6L

Name: 70734 : Master Wu dragon Theme : Ninjago Year: 2015 Pieces : 575 Price : 49,99€ Well this is no secret, I always was attracted by Ninjago sets that featured a dragon After the titanium one that didn't convinced me (see review here) let's see what this one has to offer. The box Average sized box, with the new color scheme for this 2nd wave for this year. We left the jungle and there is now a very mystic atmosphere. As always the back of the box shows the different play features. Instructions / Stickers / Pieces Instruction in 2 parts and a small sticker sheet. And 5 bags of pieces : If you want a set with good/new/rare part assortment, this one is for you Some parts with this new summer pale green, Uni-Kitty tails in tan, round tiles with pin in white and reddish brown, 1x3 reddish brown tiles, pieces rarely seen in white, and so on ... To sum up - a very nice bunch of part ! Minifigures Well, I do not know the details of this season's story, but our ninjas are now fighting some ghosts/spirits. I was not especially enthusiast when I saw 1st pics of these new villains but I had to say now I have some in front of me they are pretty cool ! Let's start with our good guys : Cole (with his deepstone armor) : I'm more into the previous jungle outfits but this one looks nice. Sensei Wu : New outfit with some great details (the belt with the dragons heads for instance). Small misprint between the legs but this is the only flaw I can find. Both are armed, and Wu also comes with his teapot (that seems kinda magic according to the box) Someone from the Arctic theme is also here - a husky (unexpected isn't it ?) Then their opponents, starting with Soul Archer (seems that there are 4 main ghost generals - each with his particular weapon). Love the ghostly bottom part, and his shoulder pads and headgear too Then Hackler with this beautiful headgear in 2 colors : And Pitch, maybe a peasant ghost ? These guys are also heavily armed - especially Hackler with this nice new ghost blade : They also have a smaller friend to help them - a ghost named Skreemer ... ... that can also fit on a figure's head (possession maybe ?) Build We start with the small wagon/rickshaw that throws discs (very ghostly color scheme): Then what is supposed to be Sensei Wu's tea farm - or at least its entrance (with the famous aeroblade that stands there) We now move on to the star of the set - the dragon itself ! Very interesting to build with a very good work on the head Pretty big size - and I love how the wings are made : Even its belly is well built (this kind of hidden areas are often not very detailed so another good point here) Of course Sensei Wu can ride it, and the dragon also carries his teapot and tea cups ^^ Remaining parts Woaw, never seen as much remaining parts in a set of this size - almost 50 ! Opinion I guess you understood that I am fully enthusiast with this one, the only bad point I could even see is maybe its price but well - it still worths it. An amazing dragon, nice minifigures, various new/rare parts - what else could I ask for ? It's good looking, it's definitively the kind of set you can immediately play with, etc ... well in my opinion here is the star of this 2nd Ninjago wave And a last overall pic to conclude :

Who is your favorite Ninjago villain?
Master_Data posted a topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
As we near the end of SIX years of Ninjago (we already know about Summer 2016), I decided to look back at how far the ninja have come. They've fought the Skulkin, Serpentine, Stone Army, Nindroids, Anacondrai Cultists, Ghost Ninja, and Sky Pirates! I think that the Nindroids have been the best adversaries for the ninja. As for the best main villain, Pythor was the best until the end of Season 4, so General Cryptor would probably be my new favorite, although I like Doubloon a lot. Who has been your favorite villain to date? -
With all the Ninjago polls floating around here, I thought I'd make another one. Ninjago has been around now for FIVE years! That is amazing for an action theme! To top that, Ninjago is in its prime now- sales are still strong and are even climbing from what I have seen. What do you think will happen to the Ninjago line in the upcoming years? Will it continue? If so, what will the overall theme be next year? Will it be canceled? Will it be replaced? What effect will the movie have on the theme? Post your opinions here!

Hello guys. This is my first review (perhaps and new post) in this forum, so I bit nervous about am I doing all things right, also I worrying about my English skills :) Ok, never mind. As I have writing reviews on this set in several others languages I found there is no any information about these series yet neither on BrickSet or Bricklink, so I nervous of being pathfinder - it's not my role :D But on another hand I'm very exited because no one have reviewed this one (may be is, but didn't seen). Ok, now we start: Set#: 70739 Name: Airjitzu Kai Flyer Theme: Ninjago Year: 2015 Pieces: 47 (counted all except minifigure and his mask) Minifigs: 1 MSP: € 9,99 Take a look of this awesome flying model. At first glance it doesn't look so cool, but when you test it, your opinion will change, this stuff is really fun, especially when you're playing in team (: Packaging is very similar to Legends of Chima Speedorz theme (those which are more newer). Also there is some similar functions including that belt. From another side there is some pictures on how to construct this model, how to rip it and fly :) There is also pictured Kai (red ninja) minifigure, some weapons and two golden shuriken. Also advert of all Airjitzu sets in this line yet. Instructions - there is no any file for now in Lego Service web, but perhaps they will ad soon. Also inside the booklet there is some kind of link to the web page, where should be some of Airjitzu hints, from how to till watch how I can :) But still nothing. Now I'm thinking, may be it's a bug, that we have these sets in our local stores already, when all the world is awaiting for it's release? :D This is that belt I mentioned before. Looks not very strong? Trust me it is :) As these sets were designed to kids, who uses bricks not very carefully (not all but a majority) so some parts should be made very strong, and with friend from our LUG we have tested it well :) Ok, lets see how looks our new styled ninja Kai. As I don't like Ninjago a lot, so all minifigures seems to me the same - not interesting, but not this time. This one restyled minifigure looks pretty cool from both sides, even mask looks more detailed than ever (maybe be shown). There is enough cool prints form front and back. In face side we see any kind of hieroglyph (anyone knows the meaning?) and from back we can see something reminding to lion (or tiger) face. Also like that flame pattern. As you can see this guy also has red skin head - perhaps hands and arms are showing red skin too. But from face mimic it looks frightening, is he really good guy? This is how looks almost whole set (excluding extra parts, weapons and rip belt). As shown on the box, minifigure can be placed in the glass cabin, but its funny, because there is no studs on the floor so minifigure could stand fixated. Besides this air spinner flying better without figure. There is no chance cabin will open in the air, because it fits well in sockets. Lever is designed well - its very comfortable to handle it, but it could be bigger a bit (don't forget it designed to children). What we got here? I think its one of the coolest sorts of weapons. Golden shuriken and single sword are a bit flexible. Some extra parts. Frequently extra parts in these sets come from weapons, some time from lever. And this is how it looks in comparison - see any big differences? All sets are almost the same, change only a color, and you'll get another handle. Also there is different icons with hieroglyphs. Spin it carefully, don't point it on your face, don't spin it strong at home - there is some consequences :D Thanks for your time and I'm waiting for comments :) The bigger photos you can find on our LitLug Flickr acc.

Hi EB, here is a somehow unconventional review as I decided to review it 2 weeks after the build (so no pictures of sealed bag of pieces, etc ...) I know everyone is into the upcoming ghost theme, but here I am with a review of a set of the previous wave ^^ Name : 70749 : Enter the Serpent Theme: Ninjago Year: 2015 Pieces: 529 Price: 49,99€ Since the beginning of the Ninjago theme, I always had a particular affection for sets with dragons or temple/villain's lair (not quite fan of the recurring "the ultimate motorcycle of #insert ninja name here#"). Lucky me, this 1st 2015 wave had both, so I'll start with the enemy's temple. Note - I did not watched the show so unfortunately I cannot say if this is show-accurate or what are the detailed stories of the different characters. The box Pretty big box with a lovely color code. I was not really fan of previous wave with all that robotic stuff, so I'm pleased to see a come back to a more "natural" environment. As always the back of the box shows the different playable elements, I'll describe them later on. Stickers / Pieces One small stickers sheet - note that some were not applied as I wish to use the blank pieces somewhere else later. A nice round sticker with Anacondrai logo, and 2 maps that indicates the different traps of the temple.. Speaking of the pieces, here are the interesting ones in my opinion : - rares/exclusives ones : 2 purple wedge and 2 huge exclusive in purple "brick round corner", 4 dark tan slopes 3x3 also exclusives and one dark tan wedge with this "scale" texture (that we already had in other colors in previous dragons for instance). Also a nice dish with Anacondrai symbol. - Anacondrai equipment parts : amazing work on these pieces : bone sword, lovely shoulder pads, snake skull helmets ... I say very good job ! Minifigures We often speak of the quality of licensed figs compared to non-licensed ones but here we have some beauties ^^ Let's start with our heroes - Jay & Lloyd in their new jungle outfit (the heads are the same as always) : They are of course armed to face the danger :) Now move on to the opposite camp - the Anacondrai cultists. We have from left to right : - Kapau'rai ; snake transformation of Kapau that appears in other sets. - Master Chen : the leader of the Anacondrai cultists with a detailed torso and gorgeous back print with the Anacondrai logo. - Zugu : the prison guard I guess (he has the key on his pants) with a superb face print (and these shoulder pads with the spine ... lovely !) A side view of Kapau'rai to see his head's profile : Everyone is also armed to defend their lair : The temple We start the build with the little prison and the bone-bridge - then the temple itself for an overall good result with a satisfying size for a set of this price range. The purple parts give a nice touch the the overall build, with some interesting areas (the stairs for instance). The prison is a classic, you always enjoy putting the good guys in prison ^^ But there is one negative point for me : the snake head. In previous years we had some beautiful snake heads in Ninjago sets but this one ... I don't know but I do not like it. Maybe the size of the fangs, maybe the way the eyes are build Anyway, there is an opened area on the head to store lime ball parts (poison I guess) so that when you open the mouth they fall and poison our poor ninjas. The 2 trans-red elements at the beginning of the stairs are in fact missile that are vey well hidden. Lego love to put missiles everywhere and it often ruin the overall design but here it is really well integrated, good job. You can fire the missiles by pressing on one of the snake skull in the top of the stairs, again good integration of the mechanism as it is not visible. The back view show that you can access a small weapon rack and a treasure chest, and also that there is a classic trap mechanism to make someone fall into the spikes/snakes below. Remaining parts Some weapons, it's always useful and especially when it's one of these lovely bone blade. Opinion Well, for me it is a really nice set with many play features and nice minifigures with some exclusives ones. A real crush for these equipment parts that are beautiful and very detailed The only bad point I see is the snake head as mentioned below. Another good point with Ninjago is that you can always find the sets with a good discount if you wait a little I also love the constant change of universe/environment in Ninjago across the years and I am happy with this "jungle" theme. One last pic of the entire set to conclude :
-
I saw the Ninjago 70752 Jungle Trap set, and on a whim remade it into something more Viking-ish. The MOD is functionally identical to the original; a footfall on the top step triggers the trap. I've replaced the orc-swords with axes and the palm fronds with the more traditional foliage piece. The grass is now snow, and the wooden structure has been replaced with a runestone. "A lone Viking searches high in the mountains for the legendary Golden Spear. The sagas say it was once wielded by a great warrior, and lies in wait for one wise enough to retrieve it unscathed."

Looks like LEGO's answer to Skylanders with real LEGO toys. Will be another TT Games LEGO video game about a villain tearing rifts between the various LEGO worlds and kidnapping certain characters. Uses many licenses and themes, including The LEGO Movie (which makes some of the other licenses redundant), Lord of the Rings, DC Comics, Back to the Future, Ninjago and surprisingly, The Wizard of Oz.

Following the Bushido honor code, a disgraced Samurai is carrying out the Seppuku ritual. The Seppuku act consists of the Samurai warrior performing a ceremonial self-disembowelment in front of spectators. After the samurai is finished, he stretches out his neck for his kaishakunin (assistant) to decapitate him. The ritual is extremely violent. Blood is spilled all over the site of the act, even the white flowers have turned red...

Hello All, Thought I would share one of my winter projects. This is my uber mod of the Ultra Dragon from set 9450 "Epic Dragon Battle" Just before New Year's eve 2014, I stopped into my local Target and found set 9450 on a clearance end cap. It had apparently been purchased online and returned to my local store. It was marked at $65 US. So I couldn't pass it up. I'm a big Ninjago fan, but had skipped this set, as I wasn't loving the look of the Ultra Dragon compared to the series. After building it, my thoughts were confirmed. The heads had no necks. And the wings flipped forward like the tail of a peacock. I decided to MOD it to make it appear more menacing. I started by adding posable necks to the heads. This made it front heavy for the mostly 2 stud wide body. I thickened up the body to mostly 6 studs wide. And got rid of the leaver mechanism for the wings in favor of 2 ratcheted sockets on either side of the body to make the wings posable. I then redesigned the wings themselves to better resemble the earlier dragons from the series, only much larger. I've easily tripled the part count. 60cm long 51cm wing span Sorry about the lack of a background. It was too big to fit into my photo tent. More pictures can be found here: http://blue-devil.ne...o/Ultra_dragon/ What do you think? Cheers, Duncan

I've yet to see an accurate moc of Chen's Chair from Ninjago Masters of Spinjitzu. So using the show model and the one from Lego Dimensions as my basis. I went and made my own in LDD Pictures http://www.brickshel...ens_chair_1.png (Used Keyboard prints for the many buttons on the chair) http://www.brickshel...ens_chair_2.png (Tried to get it to look as accurate to the show model as possible) http://www.brickshel...ens_chair_3.png (Harpoon has to be there so the round part in the middle of the chair can stay in place) http://www.brickshel...ens_chair_4.png (Fits the Chen figure though he has to lean forward a little bit. Caped version should fit as well but LDD capes are not flexible

The new game in the Ninjago online and mobile series is probably my favorite of the bunch. I love having levels to go through, rather than going through a runner or taking on endless enemy waves. The thing that surprised me the most though, is when the enemy actually blocked my attack and hit back, as that is unusual in a Lego game. Soon, I tried different patterns to try and defeat enemies by using decisive strikes, rather than spamming my katana (spamming will actually make you lose health). But there really seems like there is no right spot to attack, or some timing you need to get right, so I usually end up drop kicking the enemy to save time. If anyone knows how to take on the enemies without losing health, can you share it here? I need to train for the upcoming DLC...

Ninjago: Tournament is a very fun game to mess around with. While none of it's loopholes help you in a clearly noticeable way, they still either remove difficulty or add fun to the game. I'll post my discoveries here, and add other's discoveries to the list: _ 1.) The gongs. While it's pretty obvious that you can pick up enemies and throw them into gongs to destroy them quickly, it's also a good tactic to continually use to speedrun to a boss (if you want to earn a reward for defeating a boss), or if you want to get to the good stuff. But this strategy also applies to bosses as well. While you cannot grab bosses, gongs are still fatal to them and will kill them immediately. So if you want to defeat a boss quickly and still earn the stud bonus, you need to hit them into the gong, before they block your attack and send you rolling. You can do this by leading them to one, then jumping over them, and do a jump slam in the air (this will stun them long enough for you to get close). Then, attack them into the gong. You only have a few seconds to get rid of them before they use their special ability or counter you. The hardest people to use this tactic on are Invizable and Ronin. This trick will not give you a combo. It also will not fill your special meter. 2.) You can counter as well. You know the thing a boss does to you where they kick you while blocking and send you rolling? You can do it to enemies too, including the bosses. What you need to do is block an opponent's strikes, and attack them at the right time (has something to do with the position of your character). This can be preformed while still blocking, or by letting go of block and quickly pressing attack. It will occasionally activate by just holding block. It works 50% of the time. I do not know if enemies will die immediately if they roll into a gong. 3.) Crates are stealth in this game. You can sneak past enemies undetected if you use crates. When Cole flies in to assist you with items and bombs, the leftovers can be used to mess with enemies. If you hide behind one while they are at a moderate distance away (or if they're on the opposite side of the crate), or stand on one, the enemy/s will freeze where they are, as if they have lost sight of you. You can take advantage of this and double jump out of your hiding place and into plain sight. If you have a range-attack character, they can taken out from a distance before they reach you. 4.) Unique characters. This isn't an exploit, but this is the only Tournament thread here. So i'll give people my two studs on neat characters they should get. What I mean by unique is that their animations are unique to mostly them and not many other people. The only people I know of like this are Samukai and Kozu. Al their moves and animations are completely unique to them. Krazi's melee and Kruncha's golden hatchet twins apparently are as well. So there's all the info I can think of right now, if you have anything to add then don't hesitate to put it down. Because i'd like to know even more hacks...

NinjaJayNuva has brought the following up in the Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu thread: http://www.movieinsi...production#plot I decided that now would be the proper time to begin a thread for the movie in particular. Discuss!

Yes, I'm starting another WIP. This time, I'm working on the humongous snake that was the focus of Ninjago's second plot arc. And as with the Tiger Widow, I'm trying to make it show-accurate. The eye. I'm trying to keep this simple but effective. I'm not entirely satisfied with the pupil, however. Any ideas on how to approximate the fang-like curve better? Here's the fang, with a minifig for scale. It's a big snake . Since I'm not going for buildability and instead trying to pretty much make a LDD puppet, it's going to have joints everywhere, mouth, frill and incredibly long and noodle-y body. Expect 35+ points of articulation . Comments and criticism appreciated! Gallery

A show-accurate version of Ninjago's Tiger Widow. I felt the set version was very underwhelming, so I decided to give this cute creature an upgrade. Why they call a six-legged animal a spider is beyond me, but luckily nature has something that fits: ant mimic spiders. The sideways fangs would then be modified versions of faux antennae, which are in turn modified legs. It even explains why it almost, but not really, has three body segments rather than two. Front view: Side view: As far as I know, all the parts are easily available via Bricklink. The spider's legs can move sideways and up and down at the base and up and down at the knees and claw tips. The head, pincers and mouth can also move, for a total of 29 points of articulation. Gallery (will add more pictures soon) .lxf file

Hi all, I present to you my second review here on EB! I want to apologize in advance for the poor quality of certain photos in this review and for the lack of play feature shots. Other than that, I won't be very elaborate in my writing, the pictures will partly do the talk anyway. With that out of the way, I hope you enjoy the review! Name: 70590 Airjitzu Battle Grounds Theme: LEGO Ninjago Piece count: 666 Minifigs: 5 Year released: 2016 Retail price: USA $59.99 UK £49.99 GER €59.99 The box Contents Included are five numbered bags, two instruction manuals, and two loose ripcords and Airjitzu flyer propellers. No sticker sheet, only prints! Unfortunately, my instruction booklets were both wrinkled. Bag contents From left to right: top row are piles of bags 1, 2 and the parts that came loose in the box, bottom row are bags 3,4 and 5. Especially the amount of brown and tan surprised me here. There are hardly any bricks to see here with a colour that does not fit the colour scheme of the final build, which is really nice! Interesting parts All of the parts above only come in four sets or less, the exclusive ones for this set being the Dark Azure propeller and the printed 2x2 tiles with Lloyd's and Nya's symbol. I left out the exclusive minifigure parts, but we will get to these in just a moment. Spares & brick separator I'm taking some liberty here to express my utmost gratitude to the designer(s) of the brick separator, it works fantastic and has saved both my bricks and my fingers many times! Minifigures The good guy side gets Lloyd and Nya, both in their Airjitzu robes and exclusive to this set. Lloyd's outfit features bright and dark green energy patterns, golden emblems on front and back and golden sparks on his face. Nya's Airjitzu version is quite unique, as she has a beautiful water phoenix on the front in dark blue, shiny metallic azure and white, against a dark red base colour (whereas all the others get a black one. Her signature symbol on the front and her eyes too are golden. Her dark red 2012 ninja hood is exclusive. Neither of the two figures comes with a secondary face and neither has a weapon. Overall, I am very pleased to add this version of Nya to my collection and Lloyd fits in well with the others. A minor issue that I have is that Lloyds face here does not quite resemble his regular face, something that isn't the case for any of the other ninja's Airjitzu variants, in my opinion. Now, let's bring in the bad guys! Three antagonists are include here, from left to right are Martin, Sensei Yang and Chris. Martin and Chris are in fact identical, only their weapons are different. They wear old school ninja hoods, which are recoloured in Light Bluish Grey here, exclusive to this set. I like the statue details on the face and the torso, featuring cracks and thorns. It's a nice figure that I don't mind getting two of. Yang is a great figure as well. The other set he comes in is the Ultra Stealth Raider, which is much more expensive, but in return he does not come with his lantern in this set. His white robes are very elegant and on the back of the torso is a combination of two symbols that have been previously associated with Sensei Wu, interestingly enough. The completed model I found the build enjoyable, although it was a tad repetitive at some points, most notably the flyer launchers. The end result looks good on display and can be easily broken apart and rearranged, the individual modules are fine individually, in my opinion. My favorite part of the scenery has got to be the blue and tan house, I love the 'ghost town' air that it has, as well as the weapons on the rack. The amount of specialized parts is minimal and even the pieces hidden away in the construction have colours that fit the colour scheme. Where I expected bright yellow, blue or green, I found grey, brown and tan instead, something I hope to encounter more often in the future! Play features Admittedly I haven't taken enough pictures of the play features, but the box art shows them off very clearly. Both features that can knock your figures off the roofs work well and I had some fun with them, the 'stairs slide' (don't really know how I'm supposed to call that) is another neatly integrated function that works does a good job as what it's intended to do. As you can see on the picture above, You can take out the pillars and use them as regular hand-held Airjitzu flyer launchers. However, I am not really sure if I like the side launchers. I couldn't try launching both at the same time, but with one it does not always go as it should. Sometimes it maintains it's angle after the slide (which is neat, by the way) and hits the ground, after which it spins out of control. Nevertheless, even if this does not go smoothly most of the time, the other play features are good alternatives. My verdict Compared to other structure-based Ninjago sets, this one may not be spectacular, but I'd say it's somewhere between 'good' and 'great'. A nice looking model, a desirable selection of minifigs, a very useful assortment of parts and some fun play features are enough reason for me to recommend this set to other Ninjago fans and fans of the more traditional ninja theme as well. Thank you for reading my review, feel free to share your thoughts about it and the set below! Have a nice day!

Somewhere in a realm similar to Ninjago, yet quite a bit different... Samukai The honoured shogun of the kingdom of Samurago, is getting ready to lead his troops into battle. What enemy is he up against? Well, according to his loyal spy, it's a skeletal serpentine pirate.. creature. Whatever... Pirathor D. Skellington I've finally come around posting this build. Pirathor is just a tablescrap build, though, but I thought I'd include him anyway. C&C appreciated!
