  1. This is very nice! I must confess, it has a very 'official' feel to it, as if it could be a real set! Looks like it has lots of playabilty, too. Good going! :-)
  2. Uh-oh. I'm not prepared for this contest! :-$ Gotta think of something good if I enter! *skull* Good contest idea, Cap'n! *sweet* EDIT: Question. Actually, more a clarification. "Scale's not important", so I trust Fabuland scale is OK?
  3. Thanks for the feedback! Greatly appreciated as always ~ always happy to hear that you're pleased with my work! *sweet* No. I try to keep my favorites intact, like Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pies; Pirelli's Elixir; Fort Brimstone; etc, but I'll eventually pick away at them for pieces for current MOCs until they are no more. :'-( But that's the fun of building LEGO, I guess. One day you can have a mass murder barber, and the next a greedy oil tycoon. :-D ;-)
  4. Thanks. Oh; the blood is here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=16155 ;-)
  5. Mine's worth a lemniscate! :-P But seriously, over the years, it's probably acumulated to about $8,000-$10,000 USD easily. :-X What have I done!? :'-( ;-)
  6. All of these are great! I especially like Toht/black fedora. And very clever basket idea. How would Short Round's torso look as the Temple of Doom Indy's? 8-
  7. Thanks! Here are some more WIP pics. I just waiting on some Bricklink orders to arrive, so I can progress.
  8. Looks good ~ can't wait to see your finished product! May I ask where you bought the vinyl dye? I was looking everywhere for it one time, and never found it! :-$
  9. It's the UCS Hoth Base! :-D Awesome find ~ thanks for posting! 8-
  10. Do you have a brickshelf account? Then you can upload the pics and link to the gallery/provide deeplinks. http://www.brickshelf.com/
  11. Well, you can and cannot say I cheated. I used a hinge (1 x 2 hinge with 3/2 fingers). They are concealed behind the lectern;-), so you can't see them. *sweet*
  12. Yes, that's generally the sterotypical size, but a vig can be bigger or smaller. I usually stick with 8 x 8, though. *sweet*
  13. I present to you some very early WIP pics of my minifigure scale Oil Derrick (as seen in "There Will Be Blood" of course!) I plan on adding a motor to it so it actually "works". I put a little Daniel Plainview minifigure next to the base for comparison. A lot of work is ahead for me. ;-)
  14. Glad you like my vig, guys! Poor Mr. Builder ~ he doesn't know what he got himself into. We're all pretty top-notch whackers here. :-P ;-) Bloody Gutters ON! *skull*
  15. I had to revise your sigfig for my vig, since I'm temporarily in the process of renovating my workshoppe. But I think I matched it closely. Since I'm on a "There Will Be Blood" streak, here's a TWBB whacking: "STRIKE!" Take THAT! >:-) :-P
  16. Thanks for the feedback. :-$ Thanks! But I think it's called a pulpit (you mean the stand in the back, right? :-$ )
  17. I don't have too much time on my hands, but I think I'll be able to squeeze something in quickly. >:-) What do I have to make? A whacking vignette? Any size MOC? And what's your sigfig, BTW? :-)
  18. Have a good one, Chuck! *sweet*
  19. (Possible Spoilers) Hi! I present another little "There will be Blood" MOC. Just a really small and simple vignette of Plainview's baptism. One of the best scenes in the film, IMO. It was actually kind of funny, but the emotion he showed was so perfect and raw. I don't have much else to say, so here's the scene on YouTube, if anyone's interested: (SPOILER WARNING: http://youtube.com/watch?v=QP7lFpPnHg4 ) "Out of here, demon!" Paul Dano as Eli Sunday, and Daniel Day-Lewis as Daniel Plainview Thanks, and lookin' foward to hearing from you! ;-)
  20. Ah, hello, and welcome to EB! :-) I am a fan of your work ~ it's incredible. Very, very impressive! Keep it up! 8-
  21. Vignette from one of my favourite scenes from TWBB; (possible spoiler?) the scene when Daniel Plainview is being baptized by Eli. "I've abandoned my child!" ON! ;-)
  22. What did I do to you!? :'-( .............. :-D ;-) If this is just a one-on-one thing, you, or anyone, can *cough* whack *cough* me. ;-) Maybe I'll get to some whacking a little later on. *skull*
  23. You've done a superb job here. Thank you for all your hard work! *y*
  24. Well, Time Cruisers was good, at least. ;-) Agreed ~ Galidor. Actually, I was torn between Galidor and Other: Bionicle. Ughhh... bionicle. ;-) But Galidor has NO peices that I could possibly use in a MOC ~ at least the other themes had some system parts. :-D
  25. Thanks for the feedback, guys! :'-) Thanks! But there are only two lanes in the movie.... ;-) Remember, this is based on "There will be Blood". ;-)
