That's funny! I, too, like the use of the expressions (or as I call it, the 'SirNadroj' head! :-P ) I like the use of the horns/bone as Cupid's bow! *wub*

That's nice! *y* Good landscaping, too. But if I may suggest, you may want to build your own bases out of plates/bricks instead of using the big square ones. Just a tip, I usually stay away from the large 32x32/48x48's. Building your own allows you to build on only what you need, elminating empty space. You know what I mean? X-D Just a suggestion. ;-) I'm liking the chains on the Eradicator, BTW! *wub*

That's very creepy! X-D Some more castle ruins would be nice, and you could add some small spiders! Or some webs, too. *wub* I must confess, I love those classic royal knight's gargoyles you have up on top! *wub*

Might be how the ads go. :-$

I also like how it can hold minifigures! *y* As for a name... maybe the 'Midnight Jaguar'? I dunno, just palying around with colours/times of day and animals! :-D Maybe someone else'll come up with a better one... X-D

upcoming Max Rebo band and LBC droids

He does sit down, but he is short. ;-) Maybe a little bit taller than an ewok, but IMHO, the regular legs seem a little awkward. ;-) -

Lookin' good! I love the use of peg legs on sy! *wub* Rebo's nice, too! *wub* You may want to use short blue legs for him, though. Since he is short. X-D -
Whistle Punk Lumber Mill (Steam-Punk Sub-Theme)
SirNadroj replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thanks guys! :-) -
You're lucky if it was free. I would never pay for image hosting. Ever. Huge rip-off, IMO. ;-) Photobucket lets you hold 1000 photos for free. I'm fine with a regualr flickr account anyway. But congrats anyway. ;-)

Hey! Here's my whistle punk entry for a Builder's Lounge Contest: Quote (Thwaak): "So I propose a challenge to create a Punk (Steam Punk, Magic Punk, Diesel Punk, Retro Punk...whatever! I throw the door wide to allow whatever you want) MOC that must follow these two rules... 1) It must involve in some process, the act of logging, cutting trees, lumberjacking, etc. and 2) It must involve some kind of steam whistle or horn as part of the MOC." A Lumber Mill, complete with a waterwheel and a small boat for carting away heavy logs. I like how the outside came out, but the interior's a little weak, I must admit. But I'm happy with it. There are steam-whistle of the boat and the building. The whole MOC was heavily inspired by this picture: So quaint, and mysterious ;-) Here we go, the main pic: And other pics, including the small boat, can be found here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/48630 http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirnadroj/ Feedback is always apprecaited! ;D

Best is a tie between Alien, Puppet Master, and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. ;-) Worst might have to be Pumpkin Head. I love horror movies, but it literally put me to sleep! *sing* *sweet*

SirNadroj replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Wow, you have a beautiful army going, must have cost you an arm and a leg. ;-) Nice little band. I especially like the drumsticks. But it looks as if you have to chew them for the fig to grip em'. :-P Nice work! *sweet* (Good editing job on the first pic, too! *wub* ) -
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was on TV! *y*

I'm not sure. You may want to PM enigma that is badger, since he is Will's spokes man. ;-) Oh, you could've PMed me. Maybe someone else on the forums knows. ;-)

Thanks! *sweet* He started with a wire armature, on a wood base. Then he built up the character in white polymer clay. One by one, he sculpted the hundreds of little creatures, and attached them. Baked in an oven (275 degrees, I think), cooled, then polished with acrylic gloss (I think X-D ) He commissions, too, and donates to money to a fund for children with cancer. :-) Thought I'd add that in. ;-)

Happy Birthday * 6 = FUN! *sweet* Have a good one guys! *sweet*

Thanks for the feedback ~ much appreciated! *sweet* Thanks SW4J! To be frank, I actually spent more time of the cathederal than the monster. :-D It only looks thrown together because it's been destroyed by the creature. There are broken pillars, two of them to be exact! :-P X-D Thanks! I was actually gonna use Barraki squid as eyes, to make them look as if they were 'popping' out of the monster's head, but I went with zamor spheres instead. Who knew these stupid bioincle pieces would actually be practical in a MOC!? X-D

Zsotlogl, Herald of Serene Fury [black fantasy]
SirNadroj replied to :Venomess:'s topic in LEGO Action Figures
Ah, more BF! This is really nice, and certainly different from most of the entries, to say the least! *y* Good luck in the contest! *sweet* -
Hey! Here is the BF entry I've been working on. Let me start off by saying that I was originally going to build a reagular, broken down cathederal with a monster, yada, yada. After browsing through some caterderal pics online, I stumbled on St. Basil's Basilica. I hadn't thought of that, and I figured the colour contrast between the colourful, onion domes vs. the black creature would look kind cool. So I chose to make a bombed-out Basilica, based on that one. The first creature design I was going to choose would have been a bio-mechanical double-headed eagle, with claws, or something like that. (Russian coat-of-arms) But after playing with some inside out tires, I just kept building 'til I came up with what I have here. But I still wanted to give it a bird-like feature, so notice the toes. Just like a parrot's! :-) [sizes, anyway] This is called the Wretched Egg, because, well, I'm not sure. It reminded me of a bird hatching, and just the feet sticking out of the egg while I was cleaning up the pics of photoshop. If that makes sense. ;-) The diorama, again, features a blasted-out cathederal/basilica based on St. Basil's. Notice the fire ~ I added a motor to make the flames look as if they were dancing, and a light, to make it look like 'real' fire. Hard to tell in the pics, but it gives the allusion that the burnt-out tower is on fire. Well, maybe not THAT convinicing, but you the the point. ;-) Thrown onion-dome, right into the ground! Fire Russian Figure Little Claws: Some pics seperately (really delicate ;-) ) Well, that's that! Feedback is really appreciated, I'm interested as to what you think! :-)

Nice and simple. *y* It'd make a great official set! *wub* I'd buy it! :-)

This is nice and quiant. A little square, but it sorta reminds me of a chibi style. Don't know why, though. X-D
