  1. That was WAY to cute for me. I was waiting for someone's head to be blown off or something. Just kidding! What a sweet little story! (Nice photography, too. You always get better and better at it. ) Thanks for including me, too.
  2. Thanks really cute Hinckley! My favourite part has to be the incorporation of the fence elements on the sides of the wagon. Those hay bales are great, BTW. Love the switched occupations of the Forestman/Horse. Too funny. (and edgy, too. I hope to see some more edginess in your future FBG MOCs! )
  3. Thanks for your opinons and votes, guys! Seems pretty close. How can you mean Cariou if I haven't made him yet. I'm sure he'll be next. (I like Len's singing better than George's, but I like George's gumption better. )
  4. One on one's are always fun.
  5. Great info, Copmike! I've never seen those sites. I'm gonna go see if I can find anymore info out there! :-) EDIT: There's always Brickset: http://brickset.com/search.aspx?Theme=Fabuland
  6. Thanks so much for setting this index up. Really, really helpful. Also, as part of the inspiration for the movement/revolution, I've taken the initiative to create a Flickr group, so we can have all the pictures in one spot. I just made it, so I'll be adding an avatar, or something. What would be nice, though, is a small, square logo. (Aside from the tags, of course.) Maybe I can whip something up later? Here is Flickr group for the photos: http://www.flickr.com/groups/711902@N20/
  7. I totally agree. This would keep this Fabuland "revolution" more organized, so to speak. If you need help with anything, I'd be more than happy to!
  8. Copmike seems to have a pretty laid back life. He certainly does look intrigued by that frog. Such a curious creature (the frog is ) Using the ninja wing for a sail is pretty interesting....gives me ideas. But why is there a head on the mast!? Did Copmike go on a killing spree beforehand?
  9. Ah, another triathilon! This one's a little different that the Builder's Lounge one, though. I'd probably be able to enter, since one month is plenty of time to build something. I'll PM you!
  10. Another great MOC! What I love about this one is the tudor stylings of it. I also love the fact that it's based on an original set. That makes this even cooler! Great use of that bulky wall, too. You really did a great job on making look splendid. Good, simple landscaping, too. Perhps some more flowers on the side? Oh, and the Walrus does look pretty adorable. As far as the dirty little details go, I think I may add one little "detail" to most of my MOCs. Those Fabuland animals are hiding something behind those huge, quazi-anime eyes! Can't wait to see some more! Fabuland Builder's Guild ON! EDIT: Oh, yeah, I've been meaning to ask you: Where on God's green earth do you come up with the names?
  11. Thanks! Thanks! You've seen my "The Bloody Parrot", haven't you?
  12. Well, there are no seagulls actually. I plan on making my own with a white bird head, white torso, gray arms, and yellow or gray legs. Fabuland figures can be customized quite a bit. Reason #47 why I love Fabuland! (Ok, there is no list of reasons for loving Fabuland. The list would be as long as a lemniscate. Wait, does that make since? Well, it'd go on forever, is what I'm trying to say. )
  13. Seawalrus. Duh, everyone knows that! But the Seagull will probably be just an extra fig thrown in. Like my Lamb, for instance.
  14. Oh my....thank you. I may as well post this WIP pic for my next Fabuland feat. Walrus and Seagull's House: If you can get to flickr ( ) check out the notes I made to see what's coming next: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirnadroj/2429952448/
  15. Hello! I just bought the new "Speed Racer" set "Cruncer Block and Racer X". While looking at Cruncher Block's head, I though to myself "Hey, this would make a good Sweeney Todd head (from the Broadway musical, not the film). Well, you know me, bright ideas keep popping into my head and I keep thinking...."Seems an awful waste. Such a nice fleshie head, what's his name has, had, has, and it would make a good George Hearn/Sweeney Todd Head". Ok, ok, enough of my musicaly modified quotes. So I put together a new Sweeney minifigure from the play, and compared it to my original Sweeney. I like the new one better, but that's my opinon. And while I'm posting this, I thought I might as well make a poll to see what your preference is. I know they're not in the same costume, but Depp is only in the classic "suspenders" costume for one scene in the film. So they are really different, but what the heck, right? Here are the figures: 1st one on left is Hearn, the 2nd on the right is Depp: (Suspenders are made with an elastic band over the shoulders) And here's Angela Lansbury and George Hearn as Mrs. Lovett ans Sweeney Todd. I know Lovett doesn't look old enough. Any suggestions? Vote away! And thanks for looking ~ feedback for suggestions and improvement is always appreciated!
  16. Ants.... why did it have to be ants? I hate ants. Seriously, they are the only insect that creeps me out. But great vig! Very funny!
  17. Wow, thanks so much for the kinds words ~ they really mean a lot to me! Oops. I'm working on getting my hooves on some now. --------- I'm working on a new house now. It's twice as small as this one (on a 16 x 32 base), but it will still contain lots of interesting landscaping techinques and a house interior (etc, etc. ) I need to place a BL order for some more dk bley cheese slopes and some starfish. It'll be a house for two Fabuland Animals ~ hopefully a Walrus and a Seagull. But again, still working out the details. I got some of it built this afternoon, so I hope to have it finished in a week or so.
  18. Thank you! Those angles were what I was goin' for! Thanks, too!
  19. I know what you mean about it possibly looking good on a Han minifig, but I think it'll be too short. That's just my opinon, though. Can anyone help us out here?
  20. Welcome to the forums, TheJoker! But don't be too much of a joker. Hope you enjoy your stay!
  21. Oh. Well, I've had an offer from someone who wants to buy the whole lot. But if anyone needs a few (or small quatities) it could possibly still be arranged. I'm working out the deatils now.
  22. Wow, this is really looking good. You've gotten that SNOT to look spendidly round and flowing. Can't wait to see the finished product!
  23. Thank you! Glad you like it! I'm sorry, I don't own the whole set, yet. I snagged the skellies off of bricklink. If I find myself in possession of the set, and nobody's done a review, I'd be happy to. Though I have a feeling someone will beat me to it.
  24. More fuel to our Fabuland Fire! Inspired by the upcoming new Indy flick, here's my latest Fabuland MOC. A soviet car for transporting Akator Skeletons. Two reasons I whipped this up: I wanted to build some more Fabuland stuff; show off my crystal skulls! Though this is supposed to be a "historical, military vehicle", it came out almost cartoony. Probably because of the curves and angles. My favourite pic: I'm not a vehicle expert, so I'm looking foward to your feedback!
  25. That's just plain incredible. The amount of detail is superb. You left nothing untouched! Plus, the idea of a steampunk pirate ship is just sooooo cool! (Unique, too. I've never seen a steamifyed pirate vessel! )
