    Welcome to the Super Hero Caption Contest! Each week of Super Heroes Month, I'll start a topic just like this one and share a picture with you. What you'll do is come up with a caption that you think could describe what's happening in the picture. The funnier, the better. At the end of that week, I'll gather up all the different captions in the first post and ask everyone to vote for their favorite. That's pretty much it. I may fine-tune the process as we go. Here we go with Week Two! So reply in this topic with your caption. One caption per member, please. Possible prizes will be announced later. Any questions may be asked here. This thread is only for entries to the contest.

    I'm going to try something new here. We got a lot of entries (62!). I've made a poll for everyone to vote. I had to separate them into groups since the polls only allow 40 options. You may vote for one out of all the entries, not one from each group. Polls close one week form this post. After voting, you can discuss all the captions here. Have fun. EDIT: Okay, so it won't allow votes if you don't vote for each group. This is what's going to happen now: After 4 days, the top 2 in each group will be put together and we'll vote for the winner out of those.

    I've already made my ruling. I agree that he should be proud. But the entry doesn't qualify, sorry.

    If other letter was one friends delivered, what is this one? Cronk will look to see who letter is addressed to.

    I thought I'd been clear, sorry. This isn't a typical building contest so it's hard to know where to draw the line. I intentionally left the rules as open-ended as possible to give people a lot of free rein. I'll add a rule clarifying. Custom figures are allowed as long as the figure contains at least 60% actual LEGO. As a rule of thumb, a casual observer should recognize that a custom figure is LEGO. Sure.

    No, Cronk would never want to violate the priestess's trust. I, as a player, wished we had someone less trustworthy to crack open that letter. I want to know what's in there.

    We better hope Haldor has less qualms about it. Otherwise I'll have to open the window and hope the letter blows open. Why didn't we bring a rogue with us?

    Or try to recreate the star scape with snotted yellow studs. It would be harder, but it could be fun.

    This is amazingly awesome. But perhaps I wasn't clear that the cover had to be Super Hero related. I've updated the rules to clear this up. I'm sorry.

    Cronk has endured worse! But Cronk supposes there is nothing to find in document. Cronk will see if window is able to be open and if person could fit through it.

    What about economic records? Was House in debt or missing money for an unknown reason? Cronk will look at the records to see.

    Cronk will examine bottle. Does this look the same as one from hallway?

    Yes. It would be the equivalent of using a different film which would be acceptable.

    What sort of things would you be decal-ing? Limited use is fine, my point was that relying totally on decals and such to pull off an entry might not get you as many votes as you'd like. If you can do something without customizing the minifig's surroundings, I'd encourage you to try it.

    As long as it is part of customizing a minifig. I'm allowing custom minifigs only because I don't want to limit people to covers that feature characters that TLG has provided. So don't go too crazy. Actually, reading the rules, I'm the only one not able to participate. But you do violate a few other rules there, Pep. You're right, though, very badass.

    Do you have something for a large black backdrop? Because that would look good as a background.

    I could have sworn the issue had come up before. I don't have the time to search for it but if you say that you can bash yourself with a stick, who am I to argue?
