  1. Hmmm... Maybe if friends could get wheel to turn further or if there was another release, tiles would come away to reveal secret entrance. Cronk will look around for other levers or wheels.
  2. The preliminary voting round is over. (Group 2 had a tie for second so I included both.) You may now vote for the winner from these entries: 1.) "He was right, Batman! I DON'T like him when he's angry!" by carlq 2.) 'Well it looks like Bane and Killer Croc had an interesting night 9 months ago." by Sam892 3.) "Holy limited edition Batman! This time the exclusive figures are hunting us down!" by tauntaunwampa 4.) "Dont worry Robin we still have three of our four hearts left." by The Joker1 5.) "These crossovers are getting out of hand!" by Capt. Redblade 6.) "Holy Polybag Batman! Why did you let him out?! You know he's only worth half as much outside the bag!" by Sizzle 7.) "Calm down Robin ... it's only the mini version!" by MstrOfPppts Vote for the final round in this thread like this: VOTE: 8 by CaptionWriter. Only one vote per member please.
  3. Hmm... Wasn't Jorke missing some nostrums? Perhaps the letter writer stole them. If Jorke knows who took nostrums, it could lead friends to the letter-writer. Small socks may have witnessed murder if out of bed last night trying to scare Mandric. Or could be murderer. Friends should look around and see if anything is different from wheel-turning. Cronk will examine floor again.
  4. Asking for suggestions on what set to purchase does not belong in this topic. Please refrain from doing so in the future.
  5. And he was already thoroughly snookered when Cronk saw him last. His blood probably had a high enough alcohol content to peel the paint off the floor he died on.
  6. Haldor should have trusted friend. Getting an ealrier start could have caught killer earlier. But what done is done. Friends shold continue on. This letter is odd. Perhaps it would be good idea to head back to Sanctuary and look for "tomb".
  7. Reviewer's Academy Teacher mostlytechnic brings us an early review of 10233 Horizon Express! Read it here!
  8. Hmmm... Cronk will read letter aloud.
  9. Cronk will examine suit of armor.
  10. Perhaps while friends walk, friends could share stories of what happened to each friend last night. Both Chef and Ansar seemed to imply that Alexis should know what those two were up to. Cronk went to watch training. Mandric came and challenged Helmer. Mandric won and Helmer seemed upset about it. Then Mandric asked Cronk to accompany Mandric to dining hall where Mandric talked with Cronk until Mandric was very drunk. Cronk was escorting Mandric back to quarters when Priestess came and took Mandric to bed. Then Cronk went to bed. That about it.
  11. That's too bad. Metalhead would be one of the few characters that would force me to buy more sets if this lasts for more than one wave. It's probably better, though, for my budget.
  12. I think you're confusing the word "iconic" with "insensitive", pe668. Let's not make that mistake again.
  13. Let's not argue at all, guys. Nickelodeon can market what it owns how they like. If you don't think it's right, perhaps you should write them a letter. Raging against them in this thread is pointless and should stop. Moving on... I'm actually much more excited about this line than I thought I'd be. I like the minifig designs (besides the mutant henchman) and the sets look decent for what the source material is. Right now I'm thinking of getting the Lair, Lab, Dragon Bike to get all the principal characters. I like that it'll come in under $100. I've got Hobbit and Super Hero sets to buy next year as well, after all.
  14. Cronk thinks kitchen might as well be searched while party is here. Maybe novices are having snack anyway.
  15. Well, Ansar did not do any favors for self there. Cronk does not feel that Cronk can cross Ansar off as suspect. But party should move on and talk to other suspects.
  16. If you haven't checked out Catanas' "DC Doodles" thread, here's a taste of what you're missing: Fellow def has also started a discussion on Iconic Comic Covers! And don't forget the Video Contest, Comic Cover Contest, Caption Contests, and Avatar Contest!
  17. Mr. ansar realizes that Ansar is a suspect in a murder investigation, right? Cronk merely asking for alibi and giving Ansar opportunity to give one.
  18. Let's keep the discussion on topic. Opinions of off-site reviews should remain off-site. Or nowhere, if you want to post mean things about a child behind her back.
  19. Bricktooth is correct. Since these pictures are rather old compared and we have more official pictures now, I'll just lock this rather than merge it with that discussion.
  20. I want to remind everyone that the picture of your entry should come first in your entry thread. The picture of the cover you recreated should follow afterwards.
  21. No one should have to.
  22. So you won't read a letter to help solve a mystery but stealing drugs is okay? I hope it's a laxative.
  23. Friends can ask questions, too. When party comes upon potential suspects, friends should get as much information as possible. Cronk's daddy used to read Cronk mysteries all time when Cronk was little. Cronk did not like mysteries as well as adventure stories and Krellik used to spoil ending by guessing murderer... So Cronk knows witnesses are important clue. Muddy footprints also good clue and Ansar could have made them.
  24. Wait, shouldn't friends question further? Where was Ansar last night?
  25. I"d made the groups before realizing that you couldn't just vote in only one group. Stupid polls. We'll see how well this works. If it does, I'm already planning on even groups from here on out.
