    Actually, I think you can't heal yourself with the healing staff at all. I'm pretty sure Sandy made that ruling at some point. It was important to me at the time since I had one.

    There are a few. One reason is the wide range of programs and apps out there that could be used to make a brick flick. These programs vary greatly in both quality and cost. The Super Heroes app is free and of good quality. Our prizes were also very generously donated by TLG who produced the app. These are excellent prizes that were earmarked for the promotion of the app. If you haven't noticed, there have been many contests by other AFOL sites lately that have had the same rules for this reason. We do hope that the app eventually finds it's way to other platforms. But the bottom line is, the app is a good (and free) one and by using it for the contest, we can offer awesome prizes to the winners.

    Cronk whispers to friends: Mandric told Cronk about Chef and Ansar as well. But Mandric also had fight with Sir Helmer last night. And Mandric may have had a special relationship with a novice. It is possible that Chef and Ansar are responsible but it would be irresponsible of friends to not keep open mind. Cronk hopes clues will lead friends to find killer. Cronk can't help but feel ill-at-ease about letter friends delivered. Seems like big coincidence that Mandric was killed shortly after letter was delivered. It may be nothing, but Cronk thinks more may be going on than murder. Cronk talks to Priestess. Priestess, Mandric's views clashed directly with those of Helmer's. Has Priestess never seen two men fighting?

    Doesn't matter what it's on if it's not seen in the entry picture. Part of the point of the month is to bring people into this forum. Why would we isolate it? Absolutely not. In order to be fair to those people that do not have mad photo-editing skills, no. Let's make it as the artist drew it before the publisher got ahold of it and plastered words all over it. I'll update the rules to reflect this later. Any professionally published comic cover. Correct. Obviously, there will be more of a challenge required for recreating less mainstream works simply because LEGO probably hasn't made minifigs of those characters. But if you have an independent favorite go ahead. EDIT: To be clear, though, it has to be a comic involving a Super Hero. Archie and Jughead do not count. Though most people would never be able to see your build in person, the challenge is to recreate a cover with LEGO, not Photoshop. Build it.

    The end of Super Heroes Month (November). If you don't have a current avatar, now is a good time to make one up. Maybe your Super Hero one will become your regular one. Is this Super Villain Month? I don't think so. I suppose, but it should be LEGO related. If by "Magical Girls", you mean girls that fight crime with magical powers, sure. If there's some existing show or comic called that, (I'd google it but I'm afraid of what results I'd get. ) make something up yourself. Why not make up a new one? It'll be fun.

    Humor or not (and it was not), you opened up a can of worms. At the very least this is trollish behavior. Don't do it again. The gay/straight debate is over. LEGO is a product based on the user's imagination. That's the real beauty of it. Impose whatever beliefs on your own minifigures and allow everyone else to do the same, please.

    Welcome to the Super Hero Caption Contest! Each week of Super Heroes Month, I'll start a topic just like this one and share a picture with you. What you'll do is come up with a caption that you think could describe what's happening in the picture. The funnier, the better. At the end of that week, I'll gather up all the different captions with their authors in the first post and ask everyone to vote for their favorite. That's pretty much it.     Cronk is sorry for Priestess's loss. Mandric was good man. Cronk is sad that Cronk did not know Mandric better. Cronk has a few questions. Priestess, Cronk left Mandric in Priestess's care last night. What happened after Cronk left? Also Mandric mentioned last night that there was a novice that Mandric enjoyed conversing with. Does Priestess know which novice that could be? Friend Alexis, perhaps magnifying glass would be of use here.
