How to Design a Modular or a Non-Modular Building?

Thanks for the mention in this list! It's a mix for me. Some I just build as I go, while looking at features/ideas I see in other great modulars, and sometimes try to do at least one new thing of my own. For others, when I see a building that I like, i'll start building it in LDD and see what happens from there. Look forward to seeing what you decide to try doing! -

Have decided to recreate the location of the Hit Canadian TV show Kim's Convenience. The sign was made with Avery transparent label paper. Just waiting on some tan masonry brick to move forward with the project. Will have this shown publicly at the BrickCan event near Vancouver, BC in April \

Awesome build. The interior is fantastic with so many details. Have you thought about adding any detail to the roof, air conditioner unit etc?

The structure is complete, only things left are finishing off the dressing rooms/ticket booths, bathrooms and broadcast booth

I'd love to see a picture with the brightness dialed down a little bit. It looks really cool but it sort of blends together for me. The design is fantastic.

Those buses are fantastic, 10 wide seems to be the perfect size for a double decker.

Awesome pieces of street furniture! Not sure if it is this way where you live, but for me, the traffic light is often on the opposite end of the intersection so that it is visible to the car that is right at the intersection

I feel like some bricks with texture or something to help break up the facade would really help this build. I do like the addition of the store, Makes the front more interesting to look at.

Love the build, I actually think it almost looks more middle eastern than Mexican from the outside, the roof looks almost mosque-like to me.

My estimate is around 7-10000 bricks, sadly I didn't keep track from the beginning.

Finally filled up the seating bowl full of figures. Just needing to fill the private boxes and staff, then we'll finally be completed!

It needs to be a couple bricks higher if you're aiming for minifig scale. I'd bump it from 4 to 6 or 7. None the less I like the simplicity.

A modular I've been working on for a while, structurally it is complete, just need to finish some of the details on the interior, and the roof top Thoughts, feedback, suggestions?

Thanks for the feedback, I'll be looking to re imagine the sign on the front. Love the ideas for the roof/top floor, I feel a roof with some height would probably be more advisable. Any real life comparisons that you think may fit?

One day i'll need more than a stadium for the Lego people, so might as well keep them safe. Still deciding whether or not to add a 3rd level to the station.

Just a little update, Only a few minor updates in the last few months, just some work on the dressing rooms and filling in the crowd by scraping together every piece found in my Lego buckets. Also built a few concession stands. Once the building is complete, some decal work will be added Also threw in a throwback to the first ever picture I took of it, which is almost 5 years ago.
