Jedi Temple Mafia - Day One
Peanuts replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sorry for being absent so far, but it appears I was incapable of entering Eurobricks the Jedi Temple and then there's also been the maintanance... While daytime cops daytime actions in general are about as likely as a Rancor winning the Cloud City Sabacc Tournament, were you really suggesting that said hypothetical investigator upon finding scum would remain silent until the votes are tied between said scum and another candidate, even thought the investigator didn't do anything so far, and then should reveal the fact he has access to information publicly by breaking the tie, so that the scum can kill him? And you sounded a lot like you advocated not lynching, even thought you were quick to assure us you weren't doing so after others pointed out that not lynching only helps the scum. Why do you even elaborate such a nonsensial plan when you aren't really in favor of avoiding a lynch? Discussing lynch candidates and such isn't discussing tactics. Tactics are things like how to use night actions. So, if we discussed who the doctor should protect and who the cop should investigate, that would be tactics. Not talking in public won't get us anywhere at all. Can't you put your translation in brackets, Droid? That makes it hard to follow, and with so many Jedi in this temple we don't need to make things harder to follow at all. Sounds like a good idea to me. Also, you seem to have a point about Ahsoka. She seems to contradict herself. I'd like to hear what she says about this, but I second your FoS. -
Sith are inferior. They will be exterminated! Exterminate!

That won't be necessary if we lynch her on day one for being annoying

I recieved my PM. I'm ready to play.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion
Peanuts replied to LEGOman273's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I can't say I was all too excited about the continue of Darth Maul's story, but it's definitely no surprise he'll come back. But I haven't yet got myself to watch the last episode of season 4, so I can't complain about Maul so far. On the other side, more Death Watch. I was kind of expecting this, too, but since they are mentioned in the teaser, I hope they'll get more than one episode this time. I liked them from season 2 on, but their portrayal in season 4 was even better than that (to me, liking Karen Traviss and liking TCW's Mandalorians isn't mutually exclusive. I like both ). So, well, I hope they'll get a decent arc in this season. -
Self-pity is not the path of the Jedi, my Padawan. Get over yourself, you're in no condition to fight the Dark Side that way.

Luminara Unduli here, ready to eradicate the Sith. I have a bad feeling about Anakin Skywalker, though. Maybe we ought to lynch him on Day 1? (Just kidding )

That sounds like you want to avoid a lynch. Could be a scumtell. And judging from your sig, you're propably some kind of Sith Undercover Agent. Vote: Nightshroud99 -

Why would anyone call you K-nut? It's distinctly and visibly spelled K-Nut. You'd have to be illiterate to misspell that. -

Sounds like a conspiracy to me... Sandy, you better watch out -

Looks good, Masked and K-nut (hope that's correct, I'm too lazy to check ). Well, here we go: 1) I've played 8 games so far, from Eurodina to the recent Yakuza. For more details feel free to have a look at my profile, where everything's listed. 2) I'll be available. 3) It's hard to pick a favorite, but if I have to, I'd say Han Solo, just because, well, he's great. Harrison Ford was one of the highlights of the OT. My favorite PT character would be Dooku, as he was portrayed in AotC (you know, trying to fight the corruption of the senate with the CIS, and even allowing the Jedi to surrender and stay neutral, as opposed to TCW, where he's more evil. But YMMV ). -
Steampunk Mafia: A quick-shot Mafia game
Peanuts replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I won't play both either. If I get taken for this one, I won't sign up for Masked, if I won't be taken, I'll sign up. I'd prefer this one, though, because of it's length and the small amount of players. -
Steampunk Mafia: A quick-shot Mafia game
Peanuts replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, I'd also love to play. 1. I've played a total of 8 games so far, with each being a highlight of its own. But the most notable ones were Bloodbricks, were I was Town Cop who got confused due to framing, Bloodbricks 2 (with the meal business) and Yakuza (my first scum experience). Oh, and I got my title thanks to being Pudgy Petra in Belville and Baritones 3. 2. Nothing. 3. In the first mafia game I ever saw, Noir Mafia, Shadows claimed FBI agent/toaster salesman, I'm sure everyone remembers. Best claim ever, especially since the FBI didn't exist back then. Oh, and Tammo had the most creative claim ever, I think. He propably comes second. -

It hasn't been used for quite some time, I think. Guess it got overused at some point. Anyway, I'm excited for both your games, Masked and Hinck. I haven't played mafia for far too long, I even started following a Mafia School game. -
Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Conclusion
Peanuts replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
When you said the game would continue, Sandy, I actually thought with another Day. You lied! Love the ending, though. Well, I was convinced RPGer was scum about halfway, and I suspected palathadric from early on (and even more after the investigation), but except for this and the playing in the discussion thread, it was a good game and it was a pleasure following it. Oh, Flipz, no offence intended, but your playing style seemed kind of scummy to me and I had been inclined to vote for you, if I had been playing. Making lists who posted how often after half a game day is not really useful, and you had some logical fallacies there which stroke me as odd. Your Harriet-style plays were entertaining, but I'm surprised Hinckley hasn't sued you yet But congrats to the scum for a perfect victory and the players for passing. It really was a good mafia school game in my opinion. -
I wear a fez now. Fezzes are cool.
-
Same with me. But I knew it existed and I knew where to look it up. I'm so proud of myself.
-
I'd guess it's from 'Puss in boots'.
-
Seconded. I really love the setting, Sandy. I myself am not too familiar with fairytales as such (asides from Disney, 'Witches Abroad' and common knowledge), but the castle and the figs look dazzling. And the background story with Gio is both funny and a good justification for the Day-Night-Cycle of mafia games. And the day one thread is definitely a funny read.
-
Writing in character isn't compulsory in this thread. And once the game starts, you're expected to write anything that's in-character in the game thread. But as long as you don't start playing the game here, it's usually okay to post in-character until the first Day thread is open. Hope that helps.

Forgot to post my role PM. If anyone is interested, here it is:
-
Yes, I myself don't care much about winning or losing, what counts for me is if I had a good time playing the game, if I think I played well and if others think I played well. That's why I'm more interested in the host's feedback *hint, hint * (as well as comments of other players) than anything else. Of course, if the team wins, it propably adds to my enjoyment, but winning because the other team screwed up or even though I did a horrible job isn't very entertaining either. Of course, I never survive. I don't even know how it feels to still be alive at the end of a game.
-
Nevermind, I won't hold a grudge against you. After all, it was just a game, and I still enjoyed it. But, yeah, try to be a bit more co-operative next time You were giving us quite a headache with your performance
-
At that point we already knew your three ways of, well, not actually investigating, but at least confirming people to be Town. Okay, Cecilie wasn't that strong, as her role would be lost upon hiding behind scum, but at least she couldn't be killed properly at night. And I thought Zakura's action would have been passed on after his death? So, even if he would have tried to recruit scum, as long as there's another Mason member left the Town wouldn't have lost anything anyway, would they? And you still had a role cop, whose resukt gave hints about the alignment as well. So you were capable of confirming four Townies per night. I do think that's pretty much overkill, but I may be a bit biased, too. Every Town player has won, I think. It should be a team win after all...
