  1. Welcome aboard the furry party, Ferrik
  2. Yeah, I'd understand that you wouldn't want to have info about the roles revealed (if you are town), but how was I supposed to know that was your theory? And, no, I didn't want to know your theory, I never asked you for it. I didn't really care, like, at all, because Day One theories are rarely accurate. Especially with the whole "reason why we all have CITY sets", even after it was stated these were for a building contest. And, honestly, I don't think that theory makes sense. It would be kind of a stupid set-up if roles could be deduced that easily, and if your theory was true, that would mean that making our numbers public means making our night actions public (unless the scum are stupid and wouldn't figure that out). So... You wanted everyone to make their number public, even though you thought that would reveal all our important roles (and, of course, the scum roles as well)? What kind of a play is that? Not to mention that the theory is inane anyway. Or that someone else theorized about the same before you, without claiming their role. Also, it's interesting how you made it sound like I forced you to roleclaim; I wasn't even voting for you back then. Considering all this, I'll Unvote: Crazy Weird Number Girl (TheBoyWonder) Vote: Forgets-his-name Guy (Tamamono).
  3. Are you confusing Mary with Susan? Anyway, I thought I made clear why I didn't reveal my number, but I can elaborate: Back then, we didn't, like, know what the numbers were about at all. I didn't think we should share information early on, especially if we don't know its meaning. You wouldn't, like, make your role public, would you? Of course, we have to work together at some point, but not on day one when we have, like, no idea who we can trust. It was helpful that some outed their numbers so we found out what they meant, but there was no need for all of us to do that. So, you're fine with withholding theories, but info should be shared publicly? That theory better be, like, totally awesome. By the way, we don't all have City sets, unless those who claimed otherwise lied. My vote stands with Crazy Weird Number Girl for now, but I am, like, suspicious of Blonde Forgets-His-Name Guy. Not just because of this comment or because he forgot his name (I can understand why someone would forget his name, it's, like, so bland), but because of his over-all erratical behavior and the reaction to the accusation.
  4. I have to say, what Spikey Hair Guy says makes sense, that the scum would try and choose a set number that, like, nobody else would have, with the ability to correct herself, if necessary. That, and her defensiveness makes her, like, the best candidate for lynching we have today. Vote: Crazy Weird Number Girl (TheBoyWonder) There's some others I'm slightly suspicious of, but nobody has stood out as much as her.
  5. So, if these really are for a building contest, how does that work out with 9696? By the way, it seems I can reveal my number now: It's 3368, Space Centre.
  6. Why do you insist they may not mean anything? That's, like, a bit weird. They don't have to be LEGO sets, but I'm pretty sure they have, like, some kind of meaning. But I don't like the idea of voting based on these numbers, either. Doesn't sound like a good idea. I'm still not going to reveal my number, but I feel save to tell you it's a space-themed set. Hope that helps. Hey, stop stealing my show! That's so irritating! I mean, I feel safe.
  7. I also have a Crew Number, but I don't know if it's, like, a good idea to share these that early. I mean, we don't even know what they're all about, right? Hey, thanks, Spanish Waiter Guy
  8. A furry party? Sounds fun! Too bad I'm part of the staff, and not a "(passenger)". Yay, that Top Hat Guy thinks I'm making sense! Maybe I should've studied rocket science after all...
  9. I would suppose that someone, aside from breaking our radio, impeded the transmission from our phones to the satellites relaying the signals. But what do I know, satellites are all totally, like, rocket science to me. So, Fabuland activities, that sounds, like, super exciting! Can't wait to see what's that all about
  10. No, no no, rubies are yellow. Don't try to fool me, I know my jewels Okay (not ok-ey)-dokey, my Spanish Friend
  11. Hey, everyone, I'm Bristol. But you propably already know that, after all, I've been singing for you all night. But there's, like, so many of you, even though this cruise is underbooked, and it's kinda hard to memorize all your names. And most of you don't even have, like, a second name or something. So, I'm glad you're all wearing name tags. Anyway, did anyone of you notice that stolen diamond was red? And I always thought a red jewel was called an emerald. Well, guess I was wrong. Okay, let's do what that pirate guy said and find these thieves, everyone. Anyone want me to give an encore, by the way?
  12. Yay, time to get into Mafia again! 1) I actually have been rather ill lately, but the doctor says I'm getting better. I should have completely recovered in about two days (around 4 a.m. East Coast time, to be exact). And if my experience with the Viking Line is anything to go by, the ship will not have cast off by then 2) Yes, I have. 3) Sure, why not? Spending that many months on ship without innovation can get boring, I guess. 4) I definitely do. I have been ill too long, I'm getting withdrawal symptoms if I don't travel right away Hm, has EB a new lay-out? Takes some getting used to, I guess...
  13. Damn, you got me there I'm so proud of myself Nah, it's just, in the beginning there'll be lots of basics courses, a weekend camp and several bar-hoppings, and I guess it will be rather time-consuming, exhausting and inebriating, so I'll pass on this one. I could play Heroica, though. But I didn't follow it for quite some time now. I'm not really up-to-date
  14. I'd love to play, but I'm going to university soon, and I don't think I'll have the time to play. So, good luck to everyone, I'll try to follow the game as closely as possible.
  15. You can start with Excalibur -1.0, then go on and have Excalibur 0 be the sequel for the prequel. It will positively confuse everyone Bob, I had a lot of fun playing being dead in this game. I actually feel kind of honored to be metagame-killed, even though I later was completely wrong. I even started to suspect Hinckley after I died. I guess the tree stump thing is something you can argue about, to be honest, I don't mind. I don't mind winning thanks to a tree stump (and I'll admit, we did), but I guess I wouldn't have complained too much had I been on the scum team and lost because of it (though I may be biased). It's been a good game, even though the day threads started being boring in the end. Kudos to Scubacarrot, though, you were doing pretty good. Your only mistake was to not rub your victory in Hinckley's face And I really hope I'll never hear the word sting ever again, at least not in a mafia game.
  16. Am I dead? Am I dead? Am I dead? Oh, right, I am.
  17. I recently finished Metro 2033, and am now about to start with Metro 2034. I can really recommend Metro 2033, it's one of the best books I've ever read. It's mood is rather dark at some points, especially towards the end, but it's definitely worth reading
  18. Tree stump, we hardly knew ya Welcome back to the dead, Hinck
  19. I've got time My server is alive and kicking and...no, wait, he's on holiday at the moment. Okay, count me out. Now who will serve me refreshing beverages?
  20. Thanks for letting me play, Bob. So, I'm tied for the fastest death in this game? That's also an achievement, isn't it?
  21. Is the National Guard about to board the Excalibur?
  22. It's always good to base your vote on something, but shouldn't you first look at the evidence and then decide wether you vote, instead of looking for something to back up your vote? Because that's what that sounds like. I, of course, understand that, if aren't sure about someoen, you first vote for them, and then look at their defense to see if it's scummy, but if you don't have a good accusation before-hand, the defense will never yield anything. A baseless accusation doesn't call for serious caution for a scum player. The problem is, your accusation wasn't the kind of metagaming, which would justify an accusation. That's also pretty much pure metagaming. His last scum performance, as far as I know, was Bedtime Story, and I should check this one up, since I forgot some details about that holovid. Though, I can somewhat respect that argument. Voting for him because he's merely joking and not helping makes sence, voting for him because he said he was scum doesn't. I never advocated not voting. As you see, I voted for you, and there's no point in not voting (unless voting is done completely randomly). Not voting is undoubtly unwise. I said, I won't vote for Pewter, because I don't think there is anything that indicates he is scum. You said everyone has a reasonable chance to be scum, and so does he, but I'd rather vote for someone I'm suspicious of. Your defense seemed sincere, but what you haven't addressed, as far as I can tell, is the question how the Gordon's (Scubacarrot's) reply to your accusation was sufficient for you. While I don't think it was scummy, quite the opposite, it was in my eyes indistinguishable from his previous playing style. You've satisfactrily justified your vote against Pewter, but right now I'll stay with my vote, just because you jumped from one accusation to another during the day, but I'm far from sure about your scummyness.
  23. I don't think it's too late to start a bandwagon. We still have about 17 hours left (correct me if I'm wrong), so we can still bring up new suspects. We should avoid splitting our votes, though, once time runs out. My vote goes for neither Mandel nor Pewter, both seem loyal to me, and I won't vote for someone who I believe to be on our side. About Donna, I don't know. I have a gut feeling that she is town, but i wouldn't count on it. My gut feelings haven't quite proven reliable in the past. The only person I'm really suspicious of (and, yeah, here comes another late accusation) would be Ensign Campbell. He was the rather quick to follow Mandel against Gordon, with an argument that was all metagaming and didn't really add to the accusation. Being called out for this, he said, that he didn't think him to be scum, but simply wanted a reaction. Later he said, that Gordon' defense was sufficient, which simply pointed out how ridiculous his staement was and counter-accused him. Right after that he voted for McAndrews, who he quickly unvoted him. He also jumped on the almost-bandwagon against Pewter, not because he said he was scum, but because one of teh scum team always jokes, which isn't even true. This somewhat also goes for anyone else who voted for Pewter, before he had time to defend himself, of course, which I find strange, but I'm sure they aren't all scum. Oh, I completely forgot: Vote: Ensign Campbell (Dakar A) I'm willing to vote someone else if I find them suspicious and voting for them might help us achieve a lynch. But for now, I'm going with Campbell.
  24. I don't feel comfortable voting for Pewter before he had a chance to defend himself. His behavior has been distinctly odd, but I can't really assess him right now.
  25. Is it just me or has Ensign Pewter's performance so far cosisted of nothing but joking? At least, I hope he was joking when he accused people because of their hairstyles and such. I don't know what to make out of this, I'd like to hear what Pewter has to say first.
