So, basically, you're saying that you agree with everything that was said today? Nothing else? And yesterday you spoke up three times, the first time saying there never was a lead on day one, the second time you did nothing but agreeing with Emi and the third time you voted. So far you've done nothing to help the town, you've done nothing but agreeing. And now you even top this by agreeing with everything

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Peanuts replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I'd guess Bossk was still with Boba, and Dooku wouldn't allow Boba in. Also, Bossk simply could have chosen not to work for Dooku because of the risk of being double-crossed. -
I'm glad Yasu turned out to be a Mutineer. I suppose the Mutineers rather should not have hired her in the first way. It's of course kinda sad for poor Lloyd, but all thing considered we now have an advantage over this honorless scum. And there were people advocating not to lynch yesterday. I see what you mean, so I'll try to explain myself: In the beginning, after her original statement, I thought it was about as likely to be the one of a Mutineer as the one of a loyal Yakuza. The reason why I believed her to be one of us was, that I thought a Mutineer, even more an unexperienced one, would rather not try to draw attention like that. Things said the evening before we actually start searching for the Muineers always stand out, especially when they're not 100% chit-chat. The statement was clearly paranoid, and I thought, a paranoid Mutineer would rather quit talking in the first place, hence I thought she was a Yakuza following the idea of inactivity equals death equals losing the game life, as I said yesterday. After her "defense" I wasn't convinced she was a Mutineer, but I certainly was convinced she wasn't worth being kept alive. This belief increased with every time she spoke up, up to the point when she claimed. As some others, I had in mind that we shouldn't risk losing our role cop, since we could easily investigate her the following night. That's why I was hesitant to jump on the bandwagon. Of course, then she continued "defending" herself, looking more and more scummy and moreover showing a great lack of understanding of the game the situation we are in. That's why I voted for her then. By the way, I thought about the color of the flame. The color green showed Yasu as Mutinner, although we didn't know green meant Mutineer back then. Now we know. I wonder if we'll get the same every day, because that would give us a large advantage in information. But I guess it's moot to speculate about that, since we'll know in the evening. Just wanted to bring this up.

General Discussion and Announcements
Peanuts replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Wasn't that the game in which the town couldn't get to a lynch for two days in a row and you blocked all night actions until they'd get to a conviction? I kinda liked it, though. The idea with the SK having a 50:50 chance killing all the winning party was good. It was fun, but it was slightly confusing after a few days. Not as confusing as some other games, though. Okay, I'll keep an open mind about it. I was just saying that I prefer to play games with a theme I myself fancy, and that's usually not sci-fi. But I must admit you made me curious, so I'll wait for the game to come. -
I always loved these iconic vehicles in BTAS (there really should be more police blimps in real life ), and you captured it quite well. Simple but very good looking. It's a shame TLG hasn't released one yet, would be a great chance to use that huge piece again. Maybe together with Scarecrow...*dreaming* Correction: Scarecrow stole one and his goons blew it up trying to shoot Batman. Why would he blow up such a wonderful airship?

Peanuts replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Looks nice, Bob, but frankly, I'm not much into sci-fi (except for Star Wars and Doctor Who), so I won't take sign up for this. I don't even know if it's based on something already existing or made up by yourself. As for the Star Wars one, I'm intrigued. But I won't plan on my participation in future games when the current one has just started. -
I'm glad Norio-sama and our Kumicho have been making peace. So much arguing about a point which seems rather trivial to me certainly isn't going to help the Yakuza at all. And talking as much as Maniko without making any point but following what others said before isn't the spirit a true Yakuza should aspire either. I think, it's important that we talk efficiently, without wasting both our time and the time of everyone who listens (which, as I hope, should be everyone assembled here).

Yakuza Family - Confirmation and Discussion
Peanuts replied to badboytje88's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I just wondered why KDM was playing in the game thread, well, this explains it. Sorry to see you go, ADHO, and welcome, KDM. -
No, there certainly was nothing to go on today. What about the person, who made a weird statement, erratic defences and a roleclaim? But that's certainly nothing worth talking about.
-
That's interesting what you bring up here. As I said early in the thread, not voting never was an option, since it's impossible that really each one of the 32 people in this temple refrains from voting. And you are right, the rest of what he says looks like he's chosen the middle way of posting not too few without being helpful at all. Akio certainly is a person worth watching.

I didn't think Yasu was scum, but she's working hard to make us believe she is. While role cop is not really effective for actual investigation, it might be useful in order to check claims once we get ourselves organized. Only trouble is, at this point we can't even be sure if she actually is what she claims even if she's Yakuza. She has been acting so paranoid and erratically today, I would not even put her past claiming a role though being actionless. And even if not, she has been harmful to the town with exactly that crazy behavior. I'm slightly suprised by Norio-sama, who has been changing his mind rather quick, from advocating not to lynch her to voting for Yasu. Apparently there's some private talk going on between the two of them, but I'll keep it in mind, tough. Anyway, it appears by lynching Yasu we won't risk much. I'd rather have kept the role she claimed, but it comes at a very high price since it means keeping her as well. She's been annoyingly useless today and I doubt that will change over the next few days. Role cop can be a horrible role in the wrong hands, it's a role that's more useful for the scum than for the town, and she has not shown competent handling of information today when she claimed to Ichirou as response to his accusation. Therefore I'll vote: Yasu (TheBoyWonder). vote:

I can see you are not accusing me, I'm not defending me either. I just thought I should reply to your suspicion of me. There's nothing wrong with pointing out my actions could have been those of a Mutineer, that's certainly true. But I knew nobody would lynch her before she at least would defend herself, so if i was scum, I'd rather stay reluctant until her defense and then defend her as well, or simply go with the bandwagon, if there had been one. Just saying.
-
"Fervently"? You're not exaggerating, are you? Granted, it's a well-known scum tactic to defend townies who are going to die anyway, but that's usually after the bandwagon started or when it is at least foreseeable. And because it is well-known, it's not very effective. I'm not new to these games, you know. And I didn't really defend her, I just voiced my opinion, which was, that I didn't believe she was scum, and why I didn't believe she was scum. Okay, here two people I'm suspicious of: -Shiro (Alopex): He spßoke up twice. The first time he said: The first part "What if we lynch the wrong person" is certainly not a very pro-town attitude. We'll have to take risks at some point. Crying won't help us. The second part is extremely vague, and frankly, it doesn't show great dedication. "It could be nothing" is ceratinly wrong, as her statement was certainly something. It doesn't prove she's scum, but it's not nothing. The rest is pretty generic. His second post was: Not quite a very pro-town comment either, is it? My second suspect would be Yasuko (RileyC). She's spoken uo once, wondering how Yasu knew we would lynch people (), assuming there are only 5 Mutineers based on the genies (which would be far too few in my opinion) and finally saying it was a hard task to find 5 Mutineers (unneccessary defeatism). Finding 5 Mutineers with 27 (32-5) Yakuza Members/possible impartials should be an easy task, if there is no conversion. But I won't speculate about numbers right now, since we don't know anything about that.
-
Well, we still can have a watcher watch her, if we have one, and I'd rather have her investigated than lynched. Since we have unlimited unvotes, I highly doubt there will be a bandwagon against Yasu, but would you please tell me what is "to gain"?
-
I doubt it. If she was a scum bomb, she wouldn't risk getting killed on day one. And I've never heard of a scum bomb, either. If she was a jester, she's acting too crazy. I think I already said at the beginning that many lynches were for people being annoying. I think you misread, I was talking about the fact that out of those day one lynches, which are due to silence, most are in late day one. Which pretty much stands to reason, as in the beginning we aren't even allowed to lynch. I'm not sure if we should focus on the silent ones, the past has shown that the scum is likely to prefer the middle way of neither talking too much nor too few, mostly trying to look helpful without really being so.
-
Is the day getting messier by the second or is it just me? So now our honorable Kumicho has sent a useless message to Yasu-chan? I mean, it's clear she can't respond to that, if she was honorless enough to backstab not only us, but even her scummy teammates, she'd never again get into similar situations in future lives (by the way, are we Buddhist or Shintoist? We are in a temple, but there is a Kami. There is no reincarnation in Shintoism, is there? Just came to think of it... ). And if she is Yakuza, she doesn't know the scum. So, in due respect, your message has not been helpful, Kumicho.
-
Do you really think after all that's happened she'd even do a fake claim without asking her teammates? I have no idea, really. It's a sad thing to say, but I consider it possible, even though not likely. I agree claiming hurriedly is highly scummy, but the role is not. Unless, of course, she really is a role cop. Honestly, I'm all for investigating her tonight, just to solve this mess.
-
Oh, great. So she didn't even claim to you because she trusted you, but because you didn't trust her? I'm speechless. I have no idea what you are talking about. Are you trying to confuse us all?
-
I would like to thank you for the honor, father-in-law, and I certainly don't want to say Yasu wasn't No.1 target for teh scum, which she certainly is, if she isn't scum, but I'm afraid, I never said such a thing. I just wanted you to know.
-
You know that if you hadn't claimed and if we had let you live, a vigilante might have killed you as well, right? But I get the idea behind it, I did the same in the second game I played time I was in a comparable situation. It was a big mistake, by the way. And I see you keep doing mistakes. Well, at least you told us before a bandwagon might have started. That way no unvote was wasted. Risky is not the only term I could think of...
-
Hm, this changes this whole situation. This could be a last defense of a dying scum, but if you're honest, we'd lose a valuable role by killing you. I'll have to give this a lot of thought, but I didn't really believe in your guilt before, and now that you claimed this, I'd rather not risk losing the role cop. I hope you get investigated tonight, so that we can be sure we can trust you.
-
While this was exactly what I believed earlier, and which I'm now not that sure about anymore, we still should keep in mind that one of us who misunderstands our situation and our way that drastically is likely to create more confusion and is harmful rather than useful for the Yakuza's cause. If we lynch her and she turns out as Yakuza, I'd rather mourn about the lost chance to catch real scum than about her death. But of course you are right that we shall not tunnel-vision on her. As the day proceeds, I'm sure some people will stay silent, and we should also keep and eye on those people.
-
I'd guess he refered to the dream with the genies, just like everyone else who tried to find some deeper logic within this whole prophecy business, but I have no idea what he means either. I believe its Norio-sama... When he brought it up, I actually thought it was a plausible reason, which is why I didn't go into it. But you're 100% right, after all what was said before this is simply ridiculous. And she still hasn't really addressed the point your Grandfather prohibited us to talk about.
-
Defensive, yes. But you could have addressed the accusation, as we have told you a hundret times now. Honestly, in the Yakuza we have no need for people who panic and brain-freeze at the first sign of suspicion. Not at all. Yes, thank you very much. It's not healthy to catch scum on empty stomach, is it?
-
Honestly, you're really trying hard to make me re-think my earlier apprasial. While I didn't rank your initial statement (which apparently shall be disregarded right now) as scumtell, right now you act more and more suspiciously. You "forgot most lynches due to silence happen on late day 1"? That's nonsence. You either are aware of the fact or you are not, but you can't forget it. And your defenses were not only lame, they didn't even reply to the accusation, and you still haven't done so. And, while you initially told us not to suspect you for inactivity since you were sleeping, right now you have been talking to us several times and yet you haven't said anything but these "defenses" of yours. Not quite what I call activity, either.
