Jedi Temple Mafia - Day Four
Peanuts replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yes, I think that post is especially important. Even though she voted at that point for C-3PO, today she showed us that she had no idea what the case against C-3PO was all about. That kind of inconsistent behavior is quite scummy. -

Well, only three people knew about the investigator, and obviously, that was too many. So no reason to feel left out. And about the case against C-3PO, it was more than just Corobb saying so. Haven't you read the play Coryn wrote? The case wasn't solid, but it was more than just a hunch. -

I agree with the droid. Otherwise than the former days, this decision isn't nearly as clear. And may I remind you, Foul, that you did the same thing on Day 1 and kept telling everyone who you'd vote for if you hadn't voted yet? I'd really expect you to learn form your mistakes. On Day 1 the vote had already been split far enough, and on Day 2, we had an investigation, and on Day 3, it was Coryn or C-3PO. But today we shouldn't rush our votes, as we can't unvote. And, seriously? This is definitely not pro-town attitude. -

But my main point against your theory was: "What would the scum gain by doing so?" I still don't see it, and it makes no sense for the scum to build up such a conspiracy when there's nothing to be gained, is there? Doesn't mean Coryn can't be scum, I still don't think he is, but who says he can't be scum and telling the truth about Vos being the investigator? I brought the possibility up, but yeah, it's unlikely. Anyway, I wouldn't mind lynching the SK if I got a chance to do so. -

That wouldn't be a good plan, that would be a unnecessarily complicated and pretty much stupid plan. I mean, if Corobb had been the investigator, why not tell so right after he got killed and blame C-3PO? This plan has two advantages: 1) Even if the janitor fails to clean up the result of C-3PO and the droid is revealed to be town, the scum would still have had a reason to kill Corobb, so that Coryn has an excuse why C-3Po was town after all. 2) It does not involve wasting a kill on someone who has been of no avail for the town. 3) In the unlikely case another townie somehow came to know about all this, this plan would backfire right in Coryn's face. Why take the risk? Tell me, if Corobb had been the investigator, what profit would the scum have gained from claiming it had been Quinlan? I'm not saying Coryn can't be scum. I'm just saying that wether he had been scum or not, we can assume Vos had been our investigator. -

Okay, Euna's "defense" is actually extremely scummy. I agree with Nahdar that she's propably the best person to lynch today. And the thing about investigating C-3PO is in hindsight really very suspicious. About Coryn, I a lot of people have said that Zane's death was too convenient. I started wondering if the death really is convenient for the scum. I think, it would have come in handy for them if they were going to not reveal the fact they had killed the investigator, if Coryn had acted like Sherlock was still alive. Because, if Zane was still alive, and Coryn had pretended that Sherlock was alive as well, Zane would have been able to tell us that the scum killed him last night. Now that everyone who was in contect with the investigator is also dead, they could have claimed to have further town results which might not have been doubted. But (assuming Coryn is scum) if they already decided to reveal the secret anyway and fake a slip-up, what would be changed if Zane was not dead? In fact, since we haven't even got a result on C-3PO, they might even have revealed Zane as well in order to have a second potential leak. Of, course, this doesn't rule out the possibility that the SK has killed Zane for completely unrelated reasons, but it isn't convenient for the scum. That said, I have been talking to Coryn, and I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt. If Euna is scum, we can assume that 3PO was scum too, and that would all but clear Coryn. If Euna is town, we can assume that she was unhelpful anyway. -

Please clarify, what exactly could be a problem? And why should we hope he didn't know anything else of value? He's dead, so it's pretty much irrelevant what he knew. -

Oh, yeah, of course. I know. Some people named Isamu, Momoe and Kenta had some problems with that in a holovid I watched. -

Okay, that changes things. A lot. I'll have to get my thought together, but consider yourself FoSed. It's nothing personal, but as you said yesterday, there were three people to know that the Cop was also the Shrink, and two of them knew who he was, and one of them is cleared, and the other one is you. I agree that killing Sherlock can't have been coincidence. And I don't see why Sherlock should have lied or how C-3PO would have known. Your role cop excuse is valid, but how likely is it? I'll have to think about this some more, but you're now also on my suspect list. What about Zane, by the way? Yeah, I propably am. The last possibility is the likeliest, that it's meaningless. Okay, that's one possible leak less. Of course, unless you're telling the truth. May I ask, what's the connection between Tiin and Vos? I still don't get what's the deal with Zane. -
Day 1: Disturbance in the Force Day 2: Murder in the Library Day 3: Disturbance in the Force Day 4: Murder in the Dark Anyone going to bet what Day 5 will be captioned? I think "Disturbance in the Force" would be a good bet, but "Disturbance in the Dark" also sounds okay. Bets without "in the" won't be accepted. And please don't modkill me for that.

I don't know about the lovers or the Sk being blocked. After all, the Droid seems to be the same, just with another weapon. Which is strange. The assumed scum killer apparently has killed Quinlan, while it appears the other killer has killed Master Tiin. I understand why the SK would kill Tiin, as he was pretty much useless so far. But why kill Quinlan? The only reason for the scum to kill him I imagine would be if he had had a night action. Which would make one wonder, why they knew. Has anyone been told by him or anyone else about his night action? About the MO of the droid, I wonder, why it has changed? One reason I could imagine would be, that the Sk has been cured and is now a vigilante. But I am sure we would have known about that, so that's very unlikely. Another reason would be, that the scum killer has died/the scum have a shared kill and there's another person executing the kill now. Which would mean, that the Droid is a scum killer, which makes next to no sence regarding his targets so far. Or, maybe, that the SK has been converted to the scum, which would explain why they're working together. Or that the MO is meaningless and this is done only to add symmetry by the host. And about the two deaths tonight, I think it might have been worse. Sure, we lost two Jedi, but let's be honest, these were both potential suspects of me. I'm still suspicious of Monn and Euna, as well as Ili. Unless something comes up, I'd be more than willing to lynch one of them. Especially Monn has been around for far too long now. Oh, yeah, I forgot: It makes sence to janitor C-3PO. If he was scum, Coryn would have been cleared. If he was Town, Coryn would get lynched today. That's one of the main reasons I was voting for him, to get clarity. It's a smart move of the scum to use their role on 3PO. -
With the low amount of players, especially with all-star players like you all, it's possible to make an educated guess on who's town and who's not, I think. Of course, I had hardly any idea what was happening behind the scenes, so it basically was a gut feeling, nothing in particular. I'm dying to hear it
-
Congratulations to the scum team You did a good job playing the town, well-deserved victory I had a fun time following the game, the setting was really good. I must say, I was suspicious of both Pandora and Cecilie at the beginning of Day 3, but Shadow had me then convinced MetroiD was scum. I never suspected Cornelius, though. And we have another great claim by Shadows, this time even as townie.

It's not like scum never vote for scum, especially when one is likely to be lynched and the other is a main suspect as well. -

I must disagree. I don't think the 'assault on Volviff Moon is a distraction'. Monn's strongest persecutor today was Vebb, who has a ppoint against Monn. I just think the case against 3PO is more urgent, but that doesn't mean that lynching Monn would be unjustified. -

Right, I forgot we had to take out all non-Jedi. Anyway, I'm glad the Sith ome first, but I wonder, can Sherlock use either shrink or investigation or does his night action do both at the same time? This sounds like he had to choose. -

Actually, if 3Po is scum, doesn't mean that Windu was right, and if he is town, there's still plenty of possibloe other lynchees for tomorrow. I came to think about the SK. Should the shrink be actively trying to heal them? Okay, they have killed two of us in a row, but we have definitely been dominating the Sith so far, so the SK would be stupid to work with them. They could try and help us by going for more scummy people which would be useful for both us and the SK, if we manage to kill the Sith faster. -

While this would sound extremely fishy under normal circumstances, well, we've already got Hugar only thanks to that shrink, so he is confirmed. So, as long as he keeps finding red lightsabers, he shall keep shrinking as much as he wants. -

While the point of the lightsaber switch could easily be because of a framer's knowledge or even roleplay, what worries me, when I look at Hugar's post, that he said 'Cop/Shrink'. How would he know the cop is the shrink as well, I wonder? Or that the shrink might have an investigative ability? Or that the shrink was involved at all in his investigation result? I didn't notice at that point, but it is strange. If he hadn't been told by one of the C's, why would he say Cop/Shrink? -

It's time to vote, and nothing else has come up. The lines seems to be drawn, and either Coryn or C-3PO must be scum. So, therefore, I'll vote: C-3PO (Brickdoctor). May the force be with us and help us continue our streak -

I agree with that. I don't think the case against C-3PO is rock-solid, as Coryn seems to think (obviously, as one of them has to be scum), but I think his accusation is valid. We have to act on this situation, we can't risk having a scum that high in our townie organization. And, Euna, it's more than a "gut feeling". Have you payed any attention to the case? I agree with Coryn, your distraction reeks of scum. That is not to say, that I wouldn't like to lynch Master Monn. He's been around far too long now. But unless some evidence comes up, I consider C-3PO as best candidate for tactical reasons. -
Jedi Temple Mafia - Day Three

Okay, that's pretty much useless. Ah, sorry. You got me confused there. But, yeah, that should be enough to be trusted. I mean, the scum had one lost, and now we've lost 3 of us against two of them. That's a horrid ratio for them. Once they've lost one of them, I think they'd rather play it safe instead of bussing even more of their own. -

The way I understood this, it's apparent either you or 3PO (or Zane?) is scum, which you both knew. So you'd have all reason to reveal this, because he might just do the same. How can investigation results not be good results? Was he blocked? If so, that's worrying. Sure of who's towniness? The shrink/cop has been cleared by his investigating of Master ssiht, I think. I think you've just stated exactly why he can be trusted. -
Jedi Temple Mafia - Day Three
Peanuts replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Okay, this is strange. So, we have a cop, who's also psychiatrist, and who is pretty much confirmed thanks to the successfull lynch of Hugar Ssiht. That can easily be proven, can't it? Coryn knows his identity, so he should be able to ask him, right? Unless he was Corobb or Skywalker, that is. But even then, if he explicitely stated he hadn't told anyone else, why would he lie? I've read what was said yesterday, and it is really weird how Ssiht seemed to know that the shrink and the cop where one and the same. I don't see how else he would have come to know, other than either Coryn or C-3PO being scum. The question is, who. Well, there is no overwhelming evidence against either, but this makes me actually believe our Droid could be scum. It is a particularly lousy way to protect him. What makes me hesitate, though, is the question, if they would actually have converted C-3PO right upon framing him? Their framing attempt was feeble at best, but yet, it seems liek quite a risk. On the other hand, could Master Windu have actually been right? Was 3PO the Godfather from the very beginning? I think it is important that this situation gets solved. Apparently either Coryn or C-3PO is scum, and the investigator is in contact with Coryn. We'd have to make sure our investigator trusts the right person. Master Monn has also been acting scummy again, by possibly revealing the number of the scum. Which seems ridiculously low, and is congruent to the one given to us by Master Windu. I'll have to think about this situation some more, right now we shouldn't make hasty decisions. But I'm inclined to go for C-3PO. -

Okay, that statement is odd. And scummy. I haven't been suspecting you so far, but that looks like you don't want to take a risk by accusing people. I am suspcious of Master Monn, Euna and Ili. Furthermore, has Quinlan Vos ever told us what he meant by his Counterplotting³ accusation of Master Corobb on the first Day? I can't remember him ever doing so.
