I'm really not familiar with norse mythology but from what I gather, Hood (Hod or Höõd) is a blind god. given that I still have a hard time reading (seeing through) more experienced players, it defines me well.

    Did I slip? I read and re-read my posts 2-3 times to ensure they were 'clean'. On day one and for the vast majority of day 2 I was playing like I was vanilla. I thought to myself "pfff a one shot vig, what good can I be" and focused on scrutinizing people as if I was vanilla and had nothing to lose. Then when I talked to Jo and she referenced Steampunk, I went and read the whole thing again; it got me thinking that my one shot was actually a great tool to have and toned down my game a bit for day 3 and 4. Was it my saying I thought I would die? I would have followed you in a lynch of Eva and I'm guessing a few others would also have; it would have been the perfect 'out' for Carl.

    That is actually a good point. I didn't think of that. You drew the blocker to you, leaving the rest of us free to do as we pleased . SNIP Perhaps the scum thought they were blocking the vig due to the absence of kills on day one and two; am I correct?

    I was playing as Anne Truit. That would be me; I was looking to target a vocal player with an inofensive and easy to replicate/remember curse. I was so disapointed when you proved less vocal and did not get to 'use' the curse as much as I had hoped! In that vein, who cursed me? I was paranoid on both night 2 and 3 as I was sure that Eva (Mencot) was the godfather. She kept talking about there being one in PMs and was deflecting all suspicions towards John which to me was odd as out of the 2, she was the more likely to be scum. Donald REALLY did not like my contacting him; her called me out soon after in thread accusing me of phishing. The abruptness of his answer made me back of for the rest of the day. I told him I was probably going to die and he basically said he was the more likely and was usually right about those things. When he actually died I knew he would consder me to be his murderer; am I right? Yes please, no more German! This being said, I must commend you for sticking with it; I'm not able to role-play too much, it annoys me after a while! Also; I'dd like to publicly apologize for asking you to straighten your English; I felt like such a jerk! We would have pushed for your lynch on day 5, sorry. Your rambling about the godfather just made me more suspicious of you. I'll have to go back and check what I told you, but I thought I had been vigilant in my discussion with you not to give away my 'friends'. Yeah I saw what I did ... very blatant ...     This looked like a fun game, I am so upset that I missed out but time constraints would have had me absent for a few days so it's probably for the best. The presentation And setup was great, thanks for the good show guys and congrats to the winners!

    Thanks for the feedback TK! I was so mad at myself when I came to my senses at the end of day 1; I was soooooo ready to play! I re-read some of my posts and I was laughing out loud at out stupid I had been! Lesson learnt; no posting in mafia while plastered! I really had fun watching the game, I was kind of bummed it ended so quickly!

    Thanks for histone Trumpet, it was great to play and, mostly, watch! PPJB is a SCARY one to play mafia with, she had pegged the whole scum team in her first few posts! Someone said that she will most likely die on day 1 for most future games; I know for a fact that unless confirmed/in my team I will be extremely careful with PPJB!! I was surprised to see how the scum team crumbled once Tammo was gone, this can in one part be attributed to the town doing a great job but on the flip side, the scums which were pegged all pretty much immediately started flailing wildly or plain gave up. This was almost sad to watch! Yay town! *hosting

    About 875, yes!!! LOL I think you can change your name once per year once 'knighthood' has been reached. You could try and talk to a Mod/admin and see what their take on it is, they would be better suited to help you!

    No! Don't vote for me; it's not right to do so, I am a member of the council. Yesterday (RL) saw me VERY drunk (bachelor party!) for most of the day; I know it's no excuse but my posts had very little value an were composed while I was way too drunk. I thought my posts were hilarious at that time, I now realize tht it was pretty retarded but, hey what's done is done. I think I can be of great value to the town and I guarantee you that I will be more valuable in the future. I know people expect some answers or a defence but frankly I don't know what to say as I have no idea what I was thinking when I made those posts. We can all agree that my behavior of yesterday is not a reflection if my behavior in ANY of my previous games. I urge you not to lynch me today; I will understand if you choose to do so but please consider the above when choosing your vote. What I said was: - we will lynch town today; you're already doing a great job towards that goal in voting for me; keep it up! - you cannot pretend to analyse posts as nothing of value was said not do we have previous behaviour to analyse; I would love to see an in depth analysis of today's posts! - my usual policy on day one is to lynch a lurker; it's never paid off but frankly what else can we do? I usually vote at random on day one but this time around I feel that pilling on a case which has very little substance is worthy of a vote. vote: Carlisa Masinelli (endgame) I think I should make clear that this is not an OMGUS vote but rather my opinion that piling on and then proceeding to not vote for me is scummy as hell. If you truly find my comments to be wack, then vote for me. You should do it now before the bandwagon picks up steam; it's easier for scum to hide if you vote early.

    I'm here!!! A backgammon tournament took a lot of my time! Here are my 2 cents on what's been discussed so far: - this is day 1 and it's pretty much inevitable that we will mislynch, as is usually the case. - it's WAY too early to analyse anything; those saying that we can analyse day 1 posts are probably trying to get the attention away from them, this does not mean they are scum though. - everyone is suspicious so I will advocate my usual policy lynch for day one. - no-lynch on day one (or any other day) is a bad idea IMO. I'll be back later; Risk tournament here I come!
